    I really liked the book. The only thing that kept me from rating it higher was the lack of the two of them being “stuck together” more. I love the chemistry build and how the characters get to know each other as they fall in love ( I know-cheesy). I felt like she relied on this vague connection that they had 10 years ago in high school, none the less, to build their foundation on. We really didn’t get that much info about how much they liked each other back then. It was more of a dates for a bit, then hated each other with her blaming him for cruel pranks. Then the big reveal about who was behind them never really made sense either. It was mentioned in about 3 sentences, but why? The bug thing also seems kind of out of left field. I know cats bring you presents, but that’s tied briefly into the high school events.
    I did really like the characters. I just wish some of the loose ends were tied up better.

    Wyatt, is a divorced Dad, of a young girl. He has sold his idea to a company, and this has made him a Billionaire. He has no aspirations to live the rich life, but just is happy to be able to live

    Kim is an executive assistant to a very wealthy man. She lives a lonely but hard working life. She was bullied, while in school. Wyatt and her had known each other, and had dated, until his ex broke them up with lies, so that she could get her hands on Wyatt.
    A bet between Kim’s boss and his son, lead Wyatt and Kim into a situation that they don’t want. Eventually, after various arranged dates, Kim decides that she will play his date to his ex-wife’s wedding. The wedding becomes a disaster, and this brings Wyatt and Kim closer. A relationship is established, until the ex attempts to ruin Wyatts life. With the help of Kim, Wyatt finally obtains full custody of his daughter. Misunderstandings between Kim and Wyatt are healed, and they reach their HEA.
    I’ve read several books written by Nadia Lee, and have enjoyed each one. I’ll always recommend her books.

    Ok, so maybe I’ve been watching too much Once Upon a time, but it just came to Disney+, so who can blame me?? And really, there is an Evil Queen trying to destroy Kim and Wyatt’s romance since it started.

    Kim and Wyatt were together when they were younger and Wyatt was Kim’s first. Unfortunately they broke up and hated each other every day after.

    Then Kim’s boss made a bet that forced Kim to work with Wyatt. Their attraction is stronger than ever and they can only resist each other for so long. They need to overcome their past in order to succeed in the future.

    I liked the general plot and characters. As a mom, I felt really bad for Vi and wanted to run Geneva over with my car. I wasn’t alone in that sentiment. I have a feeling there is a line of people who want to do that and Yuna will probably beat them all.

    Kim isn’t my favorite type of character. I like stronger women and while she is strong(ish), there’s something about her that’s very fragile feeling. She’s still pretty insecure for an almost thirty year old.

    Overall this book is okay. There are some really funny lines and it’s worth the read. I might come across some of the other books in this series and I’ll probably enjoy them similarly, but I’m not rushing to go read them all. Give this a shot though, it’s a good book. Happy reading y’all!!

    I have been curious about Kim since „The Billionnaires inconvenient obsession“, where she was introduced. I wanted her so badly to end up with one of the Pryces or Pryce-Reeds. But I‘m happy she got her story now. I love her and Wyatt together! They are such an amazing couple and their story was wonderful ❤️. In the past I had some bad experiences with Enemy-to-lovers books because they tend to be slow-burn-stories where the couples „fight“ from the beginning till the end. Therefore I was a little bit sceptical with this one. But that is why I love Nadia, her writing style and her Books! She always exceeds my expectations and creates unforgettable stories that feel so real. I loved that the Kim and Wyatt solved their problems and misunderstandings soon and we could see more about their life as a couple and see how their relationship developed.

    You just can’t not like Kim and Wyatt. She was such a stong woman that wanted to achieve her goals alone, without vitamin B, and be independent. I loved how loyal she was and how she always tried to do her best in her job. But most importantly, I loved how compassionate she was to everyone. Taking in the dog of ther landlord‘s mother who passed away, helping her friends wherever she can, and being always nice to the daughter of her Enemy. I loved Wyatt because even though he just recently became a billionaire he stayed down to earth. He was so protective about Vi and later on with Kim. I loved how jealous he was of Kim‘s male friends and acquaintances.

    Furthermore, I loved all the scenes with Salazar and Ceinlys. Since „the billionnaires holiday bride“, I have been wondering how their relationship developed and had high hopes that we would get to see that in this book. Nadia did not disappoint! I have to say the more I read about Salazar amd Ceinlys the more I love them. In this book we got to see another side of Salazar and believe me you will love it!
