    I think the characters in this story were woven together in the past and present so well. The evil incarnate, AKA Raphael, seems like a kitten compared to the real ‘bad guy’

    While this author has written some dark romance books before I think this one is by far the darkest and it totally drew me into the world they inhabit

    Lucca Dyshekov is an enforcer for the Bratva and he has long suspected that Aria's father was the man responsible for the death of his best friend Timothy along with his wife and child now he has a chance at revenge when Aria's father causes a accident that kills his wife and leaves his daughter Aria with amnesia Lucca steps in and takes over control of Aria bent on revenge but what he doesn't expect is that she will become a sirens song to him Someone that he wants and will do whatever he needs to do to keep but can they have a future with so much hatred between their families You will have to read to see

    Loved the story about Lucca and Aria, they had known each other all their lives and they had not seen each other for about twenty years all grown up and now they are together. Now these two will soon to be married or not as Aria has lost her memory. Lucca is the Bratva assassin they call Merciless—rose from hell and turned her world upside down, now secrets, ghosts are coming out from everywhere that they call it war. With several attacks on his life and now her death is deemed necessary, her father's traitorous crimes against the Pakhaan the time for answers is running out. This mafia story gave you romance, mystery, revenge, intrigue, suspense, drama, pleasure, passion, desire, lust and love.

    This is a mafia arranged marriage. There is a lot of steamy scenes with dark themes . The story also ends in a cliff hanger.

    Merciless Vows by Faith Summers is the first book in the Blood and Thorns Duet. It is a Dark Mafia Arranged Marriage Romance. Its twisted and deprived at times but makes for a long book filled with lots of interesting writing and plot points about the two main characters to create a well developed story which I will love re-reading. This story follows Luca and Aria whom form an unlikely bond based of lies and deceit. Lucca Dyshekov is an enforcer for the Bratva and suspects that Aria's father is responsible for the death of his best friend, wife and child. After an accident Lucca steps in and takes over control of Aria bent on revenge. Find out what happens next by reading the book. You won't regret it!

    Suspense at every turn, some times you would expect a writer to go a certain way with a romance book, this author twisted that and left you feeling, wanting more. Although some words seemed to be missing in certain sentences, mainly a 'to' here and there.

    This is a seriously commendable mafia romance. Faith summers has done justice to the genre. I loved every bit of the story. It is not just romance, this is a tale of revenge, mystery, intrigue and suspense. It hooks the reader from the first page and then it is super hard to put down.

    The twist and turns throughout the story are well thought through and ones that are not predictable. They will catch you by surprise and they are generally heart wrenching.

    In merciless vows, we have a great set of characters. My heart goes out to the protagonists, they don't have it easy. All the characters in this story are complex and super interesting.

    This is a must read for all the mafia romance lovers out there.

    He had been her Peter and she his Wendy, two children from very different paths in life started out as friends who between them have known such terrible tragedy.

    As Lucca and Aria come together some twenty years later it is a very different woman he meets now, she has lost her memory and had even forgotten how to play her violin. As the play for revenge is out into motion there are so many ghosts coming out of the woodwork and Aria and Lucca's wedding day soon comes around.

    There have already been several attacks on his life and now that Asia's death is deemed necessary because of her father's traitorous crimes against the Pakhaan the time for answers is running out......
