    I can’t even tell you how sad I am this chapter of Maggie Coles Mafia Wars series is over 😢

    I honestly didn’t think I could love a story or a couple more than another, but Finn & Brennas 2 decade long heartbreaking journey of love lost & redemption damn near BROKE me.

    It is the most fitting end I could have hoped for to one of my absolute favourite series of all time. I was fanning myself right from the get-go at the pure certainty & primal possessiveness Finn has, the very second he lays eyes on Brenna 🥵……. Then came the tissues…. For all of the unfair injustices ……. Then there was more fanning, and yet more tissues, this time with a trembling lipped smile as my heart just about burst for a whole different reason.

    I have loved every book in this series, but the way Maggie wrote this last one, it is abundantly clear that she has poured all of the love she has carried for these characters & this world into her words. It emanates off the page, right into me as I read.

    And although she did a beautiful job of organically wrapping the series up and letting you know about all your favourite past characters, I feel bereft as I don’t want to be done with the Ivanovs & O’Malleys.

    I know it’s a big call (& I technically finished this book on Jan 2nd) but after revisiting my past years ‘Read Books’ it’s clearly my 1# favourite read of 2021.

    Oh wow what a story, this was so heart breaking at first knowing what Fin and Brenna had endured over the years that they were apart, but they certainly made up for it when they found each other again. What a wonderful beautiful ending.
    To find what was happening to all the other family members over the years was great as well.
    Well done Maggie on a wonderful series, they were all hot and to die for stories and loved every one of them.

    This is the book that wraps up the series. (Apart from book 9) I've loved all of them - the hard alpha men, the story that unfolds throughout the series is violent and intriguing.
    Finn and Brenna's story starts when they are young giving us a look at some of the 'boys' we've met in the series as young men.
    The story is s passionate, sad and ultimately HEA.
    I couldn't put this book down and read until my battery ran out. I would recommend reading the entire series this isn't a stand-alone.

    What an amazing ending to the series.
    My heart broke for Finn and Brenna but so happy they found their happy ending.
    I got so caught up in Finn and Brenna's young love story only to remember Finn was going to wind up in jail and the couple were going to be separated.
    It was good to finally know what had happened Brenna.
    The mystery of Bridget leaving the O'Malleys was finally revealed and that was shocking as well.
    I enjoyed this series and looking forward to reading Toxic.

It is love at first sight and all seems to be right together. Then all hell breaks loose. Almost 20 yrs of prison for Finn and imprisonment for Brenna pass. They are finally reunited and their love burns just as bright as if they were always together. They get their HEA. Maggie also gives us a glimpse of all the O’Malley and Ivanov families, all with their continued HEAs. Mafia Wars is one of my fave series! Now bring on Mafia Wars NY!

Tears because of the book and the story and tears because this series is over. The strength of these 2 characters is just amazing! Easily one of the best books I have read.     Finn and Brenna’s story was the most perfect ending to Mafia Wars. I don’t think anyone else’s story would have been the most perfect ending to this series! When you read it I hope that you feel the exact same way I do.

    When I started Mafia Wars back with Ruthless Stranger I knew that book was the most perfect start to a series. Then when the Ivanovs story ended I knew Savage Tracker was the best end to their families story. Liam in Unchosen Ruler was the perfect start to the O’Malleys and Finn in Relentless Hunter was the best ending! Overall the way Maggie Cole put this series together is above and beyond. The whole series she gives the reader so many exciting things. You get heartbreak, yearning, hope, love, romance, fiercely loyal friends you call family and family that will do just about anything to protect those around them!

    There were so many questions leading up to this book about Finn and Brenna’s story. Going in you really did not know how it was going to go. And you really didn’t know much about Brenna at all which I am glad that the author did it this way. It added some mystery to it all. You also probably questioned Finn some and wondered if he was always such an angry guy as you see him in most of the O’Malley books. Just know this, your questions will be answered and you will be eternally grateful you stuck with this series until the end because the payoff is better than you could have ever imagined!

    This was my favourite book of the series and I cried so much for Finn and Brenna! No one else deserved their HEA more than them. Loved all the action, drama, romantic bits and it tied up everythig nicely. Heartwrenching stuff but happy that love won in the end.
