- Reviewed in Australia on 9 November 2023Verified PurchaseLoved this book kept you intrigued all the way. Finding your mate is special in all ways so was tops to know this pair finally put things together with their mating bond .
- Reviewed in Australia on 9 February 2023Wow what a fantastic story I loved the characters Tessa and Abel, this is my 1st read for this author and I can’t wait to read more. Tessa has been lied to all of her life she’s a witch who finds out that she is part wolf shifter and that has put her in danger from hunters so she runs to the sanctuary where she see’s her mate Abel but he rejects her. There is so much more going on in this fantastic story I loved it and I highly recommend this book.
I read a copy of this book and I voluntarily leave my review.
- Reviewed in Australia on 28 October 2023I usually don't like the popular 'rejected mate' stories, because most of them make the female lead look weak and the male lead unnecessarily cruel. But this one I really like 👍
The characters are likeable, the story well thought out and I especially like the twist on wolf shifters, with the introduction of magic and tau wolves. Writing style is good too. Well done! I'm up to book 2 now 😉

4.0 out of 5 stars This was a great opening to the series!
Verified PurchaseThrown straight into the story with Tessa running for her life as her pack is being attacked and finding a lifeline in the form of Hester, a witch like no other. Never has Tessa’s wolf come forth and it seems Hester is about to awaken a power within Tessa.
Taken to safety in the sanctuary of Hester’s home within the mountains, Tessa's world is about to flip her over as she comes across her mate…only Able refuses to accept her.
Finding out more about herself and her new found abilities, Tessa is confused and hurt over Able's reaction towards her, not to mention the effects this is now having on her.
However, fate has other ideas and as the tension collides these two allow their natural instincts to take over.
But, all is not calm and the storm is starting to brew…with her powers growing Tessa can sense that they are more that need her help.
This was a great opening to the series! A taster of what is to come and sets the series up with what main areas of each story will consist of. I enjoyed reading this, the characters are full of emotion and very very sexy when they let their guards down. This has a wholesome feel to it and with the threat in the background keeps you intrigued to see where this could take you.
