    There are so many secrets, who is this masked slasher??? I devoured this book, couldn’t stop if I wanted to. Lakryn is a magnet for disaster. There is mystery, suspense, twists and turns at every page.

    This book ends on a cliffhanger and I was gob smacked.

    Waiting for Quinn Blackbird's *Villains* and the new *Scream* to hit the cinema, and saw this gem...
    So I thought.
    I bought the paperback without reading the ebook. I hate myself now. So expensive in my country and NOT WORTH IT AT ALL.
    Garbage. Couldn't get past page 61. Then I went back to it later and skimmed a bit, and the cringe was REAL. Every guy is SO DANGEROUS. Every girl is SO HOT. And they are MY GUYS and they are THEIR GIRLS. sooooooooooo repetitive. Seriously most of the word count is "my guys and i'm theirs".
    I got it. You really don't need to repeat this every page for 60 pages.
    I wanted to return it *cry face*
    HATE HATE HATE
    ZERO STARS
    also makes no sense and has no suspense. no one is likeable and neither is tyhe writing

    On their annual Halloween night party Lakyn and her friends do something that can never be taken back, but it’s kept between them all, but you never know who’s in the shadows.

    A year later, Lakyn returns home to Hellcrest Heights, know one knows where she’s been all this time.

    Once she returns a masked slasher appears and threatens to share all their secrets from last year but Lakyn ignores it, until people start to get murdered.

    This book was dark, full of spice and hotness.

    I don’t know who I’d choose out of all the guys, so I’m unsure what that says about me.

    A must read if you love slasher movies.

    This book is a perfect setting for a horror movie or read. This book is a mystery that we have yet to solve. The cliffhanger leaves you 😮, it was quite intense. We also have several references from Lakyn and her crew for different horror movies such as;

    🎃 an ode to Friday the 13th

    Honestly, the first book of this duet leaves you with so many questions! Lakyn had all the men of her crew obsessed and possessive of her. They are protective of ALL in the group, by Lakyn is special. Different. There is Creed who is with one of her best friends. There is Kyler who is touchy and possessive. Then we have Archer who attempted and failed a relationship with Lakyn. Finally we have Reign, the one who broke her heart, yet still has it.

    Reign is the one who is over the top. His jealously is strong and he is done sharing. Except he doesn’t know about Him. Lakyn and Him get close and 💥. We have no idea who exactly Him is. I have theories but for the life of me I cannot decide! The identity is revealed to Lakyn at the end, but not us. I cannot wait to find out who!!! Also, Him wants her dead, but after his feelings grew, he can’t decide. I can’t decide where this is going to go in regards to LAKYN and her love, but it makes it all the more interesting.

    I highly suggest this book, but if you can’t handle cliffhangers or intense mystery maybe way for book two of the duet to release!
