    Scarlett and Ace have a brilliant story, it's sweet, angsty and hot. I loved the chemistry, the slow burn and the history that was pushing this duo together. I devoured this story in one sitting as I wanted to know who was causing Scarlett trouble. I highly recommend this book! A brilliant book and addition to this collection.

    A suspense romance that had me equal parts at the edge of my seat and fanning myself from all the hotness. Since this is the Cocky Hero Club we ran into some familiar characters. Loved catching up with some of the characters from the previous books. They were blended seamlessly into the story.

    It only took three hours and a bond was formed between Ace and Shannon that they could not deny. Unfortunately, the timing was not right and it wasn’t anything they could pursue. Fast forward ten years. Shannon is a divorced teacher living and working in Germany. She is settling nicely into her new life until strange things were happening to her. In short, she is in trouble. Ace is on assignment for the CIA when he gets word that Shannon is in trouble. Now back together, working to find out who is stalking her their old feelings surface. Will they take the leap of faith to be together or will they once again drift apart when things are all said and done and Shannon is safe?

    I have to say, I loved Ace. He is an upstanding guy with a strong moral compass. He knows what he wanted and what he didn’t when it came to his job with the CIA. But he was uncertain when it came to his future outside of his job. Could he leave the job he once loved and be with the woman he loves and be happy? The only way to know is to take that leap of faith.

    If you like your romantic suspense infused with heat and has a swoon worthy hero, then get this book.

    happy dreamy sigh. What a great story! My heart is darn full ...

    I gotta say, my hat goes off to Kat Mizera with this story because she kept me on my toes for quite a bit of it. There is a lot that goes on in this story I did not see coming LOL Hopefully, you won't either because it adds a special spark to the story. This book could be categorized as romantic suspense, but for me, the romance was heavier and more captivating than the suspense. Shannon and Andrew were kismet, destined to be, and I just loved how the author tied not just the stars to make sure they got their HEA! You guys, this is an amazing story!
