    I really enjoyed getting to know everyone in this book. Sebastian was standoffish at first, getting over the loss of his wife 4 yrs ago and not really moving on. He has an adorable 10yr old daughter Birdie and she brought much needed humour to the story. Sadie was also hilarious at times. The way they met, the lies that kept coming, the eventual truth telling was much needed. There were times in this story that i though were just too far fetched, but its fiction so I didn’t dwell on it. Never the less it was a good read.

    My heart just exploded when I read Happily Letter After. If you are a believer in fairy tales coming to life, then this story will own you, mind, heart and soul. Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward would have to be one of the best writing duo's I have ever encountered. The very essence of this story was captured beautifully. The story was original, funny, passionate and powerful. I loved the leading characters and laughed myself silly during so much of their journey with these colourful and hugely endearing stars. This story twisted so uniquely, it was like a breath of fresh air during lockdown. I cannot say enough how these characters won my heart and gave me the biggest book hangover of my life!!

    My reviews are always passionate and driven by how the story makes me feel. I could never review a book clinically if my life depended on it. Every feeling and emotion goes into trying to convey how much this story meant to me. My words don't do this amazing book justice, so I will say just buy the book. It will seriously make your year. 5 stars.

    All I can say is it was Awesome! The characters, the story line, fast paced, enough but not overboard on the romance scale, and the coincidence's in Sadies story, and Bridie's story was so cool. What a great story line, where do these authors come up with such great ideas, then incorporate them into such a great book. Hence the 5 starts. Highly recommend to other readers.     I didn't want to put the book down. It was entrtaining, zany, funny. I loved the charachters of Sadie, Sebastian and Birdie and if course Marmeduke the Great Dane. Sadies antics trying to make a little girl feel better after losing her mother and the connection she felt with Birdie because they were so close to her circumstances, touched me. It was a really well constructed story, a great read.
