    This is another fantastic book in this series and there are a couple of off shoot books in other series that are all set in Oakside a place where injured military not only find a way to rebuild there lives but also find the one person that completes them

    After been injured in a plane crash Logan a Navy Pilot has to learn to communicate again after his voice box is destroyed the person tasked with helping him is ASL teacher Faith We have met her before as she was Mia's flat mate. What neither expected is the instant connection between them and while she may fight it because she believes it is unprofessional Logan is all in. Once again the wounded warrior makes a decision about how to handle things without talking it through managing to break loved ones heart but we know ion the end that love will conquer all.

    These are fairly shortish reads with no major drama or angst perfect for a bit of escapism

    I was given a copy of this book but this is a true and honest review

    This book was the perfect eye into the world of the deaf and speech impaired. From being around and working for deaf people, I can honestly say this book is both realistic and was a very original idea.
    This was about Logan, an ex Navy pilot who is injured in a crash and can no longer speak and the attraction he shares with Faith, his ASL teacher.
    I really liked the look into how the deaf and speech impaired, view the life ahead of them, and their coping strategies the need to adapt to.
    Faith and Logan are such a romantic couple and you can't help but pull for them, hoping it will all work out.
    The whole book was an eye opener and had a very worthy voice. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and hope more read it. Fantastic book!!.

    Kaci just keeps giving us one more hit after another and Saving Logan, the latest in her Oakside Military Heroes is another star in one of my favourite series.
    This is definitely a book worth reading, the storyline is great, the characters are believable and the chemistry is amazing.

    I was really enjoying this story of a man learning to communicate without his voice, using ASL and an app that vocalized what he typed. I understood he needed to prove to himself he could navigate the world on his own, without the help of the woman who taught him all that, before he could ask her to tie her life to his. But leaving town with only a letter to her, and not responding to ANY of her many texts for weeks and months afterward, even though he secretly texted a mutual friend, was cruel. It was a somewhat lame plot device to keep them apart. He could have texted her while he was away, giving almost the same effect. But then when he came back for her, he never even said he was sorry! Her mental anguish should have rated that, surely. That ticked me off enough that I won't be reading any more of this series.

    Really enjoyed this story it made you realize that give their and come back injured still have a fight to regain a new normal for what their injuries have done to them and learn a new normal the men and women in this journey make that transition possible for them even though they may not see it in the beginning just love taking the journey with them

    I love the Oakside Military Books. Was so glad when heard new books being added. Logan’s story was heartbreaking when he realized how lonely he was. But happy when he found Faith in more ways than one.
