    Bad Boss was an enjoyable office romance read! I enjoyed Julian and Sara's journey theirs was hot and steamy with some ups and downs, and heartbreaking moments from their past! Excited to read Emmett's story, Julian's brother!

    This is the first book I have read from this author and I enjoyed reading this book. I liked the chemistry between Sara and Julian. There is quite a bit of sexiness through out the book (especially at the office) and some really good humour.

    I had wished that he would have found his balls and gone after his daughter, but is understandably (to an extent) why he didn't. I suppose you cannot have everything in one book.

    Overall a verz enjoyable read!

    This is the first book I’ve read by Stella Rhys and it definitely won’t be the last. It was a fantastic one and one I devoured very quickly. I just had to keep reading to see what was going to happen. The book starts with us meeting Sara, she’s having a bad day and quits her job, she decides to meet her BFF Lia at a rooftop bar for a few drinks and she has plans to pickup a hot guy for the night. Sara runs into Julian Hoult in the lift on the way up to meet Lia and he overhears her telephone conversation with Lia. Sara wants a one night stand and Julian offer his services. The sexual chemistry between these two is off the charts. They get interrupted before things can go to far and Sara takes off. A couple of weeks later Sara arranges to meet Lia and Lukas, her boyfriend, with Lia promising to introduce her to Lukas’s best mate, who turns out to be Julian.

    Julian offers Sara a job, which she accepts. The interaction between these two characters at work is interesting to stay the least. Julian has rules at work which he won’t break, which includes not dateing or sleeping with his staff. How will these two handle this? Will the sexual tension win? Will Sara be able to complete the job she’s been employed for? This book included some very interesting twists and turns that I didn’t pick. This is a great read which I thoroughly enjoyed.

    WOW if you want a turner this book is it. I feel in love with the Sara and Julian a one night stand that turns into so much more with drama,laugh,tear and hot pantie melting action and finding love most of all. I voluntarily read an advance copy.

    Sara’s past just made me want to hug her the entire book. I never imagined her backstory would be so hardcore. My heart broke for her through most of the book. Reading the struggles and then you throw in Julian. A lot made sense when it came to him after getting background on him. Seeing what he went through; made who he is a lot easier to digest. These two people who suffered such harsh pasts coming together in such a strange and magnetic way was such an enjoyable read. I really did enjoy this book and look forward to seeing what is to come.

    What a spicey opening!! Yes we need a little background information on Sara and why she’s looking for a one night stand, but then it gets hot and heavy super fast with the stranger in the elevator… It is pretty funny that they get interrupted and her plans are ruined from humiliation. But is it fate that will bring these two strangers together again? Has to be since they have mutual friends, it’s surprising they haven’t met each other sooner.

    Now Julian needs Sara’s help with closing a deal. He needs to put aside his attraction to her and stay focused on his work. When Sara accepts the job and hears Julian’s ‘no fraternization policy’ she is determined to stay professional, but Julian is the one making it impossible. These two try to fight the chemistry for as long as they can, but of course things are going to heat to a boiling point. So they will just do what they want on the side and not get caught and continue to work together to close this major deal and everything will work out in the end right…??!!

    I love this office trope where the characters deny and avoid feelings until the tension is unbearable. There is a lot of baggage with both of these two in their pasts that are going to be hard speed bumps in their journey. Can they make it through and find each other on the other side? You gotta read the book to find out!

    It's easy to forget how one conversation can change your life. Sara makes a decision that changes her future and helps her heal from her past. Julian changes from an emotionless robot to a man that will do whatever it takes to keep a smile on her face. They fit so well together, compliment each other and make each other the best versions of themselves.
