    Faze was a great prequel novella and introduction into what will be the sixth book in the Rosewood High series Fury, by Tracy Lorraine.
    This is a taboo stepbrother story about Ashton and Ruby. In this story, Ashton is a troubld kid who lives on the wrong side of the tracks with his mother. Constantly getting himself into trouble, he agrees to give his mom a little reprieve by staying with his father and his new family. He hates his father for leaving and has never forgiven him. When he gets to his father's house, his plans were to lay low til he could leave, but after seeing the house and the money his father has and gives to his new family while his mother works two jobs to get by, has him seething. And the only person to take his anger out on is his new stepsister.
    Ruby is the nice quiet girl and is excited to meet her new stepbrother for the first time. She doesn't understand why he is so cold to her or his father. He treats her badly but that only has her wanting to understand him more. It doesn't help that he is ridiculously handsome but when push comes to shove, will she continue to let him torment her?
    As I said, this is only a prequel novella and it only gives us a small taste into what's to come. I can't wait for the full story to come out.

    Faze is going to leave you wanting so much, much more. This is a novella but it is not lacking in the angst department. Love this series and I am looking forward to reading more about Ashton and Ruby. Their story has only just begun and if you have read any of the books in this series you will know that these books are full of drama, lust and hot, hot chemistry. Absolutely devoured this book and was disappointed when I finished because I was not ready to say goodbye to Ashton and Ruby. Tracy Lorraine you have left me hanging off a cliff. Need to read more. Highly recommend this series.

    This short novella is very hot. Ashton the big bad step brother comes to visit and decides to corrupt Ruby to punish his dad. What follows is a hot story about when you're attracted to the guy who is trying to ruin you. Definitely a great build up to the book Fury and I'm excited to read that next.

    Faze is a short story that was in the Halloween anthology. Ashton's dad leaves his mom to marry his childhood sweetheart who has a daughter of her own, Ruby. Filled with hate and fury, Ashton takes his anger out on Ruby. This a very steamy, quick-paced, angry story about two teenagers who are drawn to each other in both hate and lust. This was a fantastic way to introduce us to these characters before the full-length novel comes out next year.
