    I really enjoyed this book, it’s got love, hate and tonnes in between.
    Poppy is an amazing main character, add Hunter into the mix and their messy two and throw of a relationship. Poopy also has heaps of issues at home and struggles with an unwanted admirer.
    This book is so well written with such detail - perfection.
    Loved the suspense and twists along the way, with a great ending.
    Can’t wait to read Ruby’s story next.

    Hunter by Tracy Lorraine is the fifth book in the Rosewood High series.
    In this story we hear about Poppy and Zayn. Poppy has lived a hard life and being the cousin of Redwood High's top jock doesn't help. She just wants stay hidden and keep a low profile. She has a love/hate relationship with Zayn, her bestfriend's brother but when he starts getting involved in her business, it's almost impossible for her to stay away from him.
    Zayn Hunter has been in love with Poppy for as long as he's known her and the fact that she is his sister's best friend and his best friendfriend's cousin is what stopped him from pursuing her long ago, but enough is enough. When he learns about her home life and the bullying she's endured, his protective instincts kick in.
    Tracy wrote a great story that had me going through a rollercoaster of emotions. From drama and angst to love and romance, this book will give you all the feels while leaving you wanting more.

    Hunter is book 5 in the Rosewood High Series, this one I was desperate to get my hands on; I have loved this series from the beginning, each book being better than the last.

    Poppy’s cousin is the King of the school; so many try and use her to get to him. Poppy has taken on so much responsibility she is over worked every day, when an obsession moves into the scary category Poppy is left with trying to put the pieces back together that is her life. Zayn has had a thing for Poppy for years but he has always held back because of his friendship with her cousin, its now time for him to step up and not only be the hero but finally get the girl.

    I personally loved this story, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time wondering what was going to happen next. I have been a huge fan of the Rosewood High Series from the beginning, Zayn and Poppy deserve their own HEA even if they have to climb the highest mountain of them all.

    From the instant I dived into this book I knew I was going to love it and what I expected isn’t what I got, it was sooo much better. I have read most of the series but this book by far is my favourite to the point I read it in less then a day.

    The dynamic between these two is felt like you’re watching the story unfold in front of you. The continued push and pull that you feel might make you dislike hunter but he does so much more good that you cannot help but love him. There are so many twists and turns that you don’t expect and when revelation are made you will sit there in shock. The pain and torture poppy goes through breaks you on so many levels that you want to help her. You will feel every sort of emotion from steam, to hate, to fear, to sadness to absolute contentment.

    These two by far are my favourite couple but Tracy Lorraine always does that, makes you fall for each character she writes about. I cannot highly recommend this book and look forward to more from this series.

    I have enjoyed every book in the Rosewood High series and Hunter was no exception.
    Poppy is a girl who is going through so much that she is nearly at the end of her rope. She doesn't think anything that anyone does could possibly make her life any worse than it is now. The desolation of her situation really hit me in the heart and I felt so sad for her.
    Hunter has always been attracted to his sisters best friend but he has always been afraid of getting too close.
    The attraction between these two ramps right at the beginning of this story and as Hunter learns of the situation Poppy finds herself in he can't stop himself from wanting to help her.
    I loved the glimpses of all the past favourites from this series and yet again am eagerly anticipating Ruby's story.
    An amazing emotional journey of love and overcoming a bad situation.

    I love, love, love this series and Hunter was no exception. This book, like the others, had so much drama and a few twists and turns that will keep you hooked. Zayn and Poppy’s story was an emotional read and my heart broke for Poppy as she has had a hard life. This book is an emotional roller coaster so be prepared. I honestly did not think they would overcome every hurdle but in true Tracy Lorraine style they both managed to jump these hurdles and finally be together. I loved that we got to see some of our previous characters also. This truly is a great series and at times it is not for the faint hearted but definitely well worth the time to read these books. Zayn has won my heart. Bravo Tracy Lorraine on a fabulous series. Most definitey a 5 star, highly recommended read.

    Tracy Lorraine really knows how to write a story that draws you in and makes you read all into the wee morning!

    This is Zayn Hunter and Poppy's story! Two kids who are crushing on each other but do not want to show it. Two kids that for all intents and purposes hate each other's guts. Yet, there is a connection between them that is waiting to be explored. This story is a must read!

    The supporting characters are also as interesting! Look for some mystery and suspense along with the romance. In this series, Thorn has continued to be my favourite, but man!!! Zayn has arrived and knocked him into second place.

    This one was my favorite from all the Rosewood High. I am always so scared of the boys of Rosewood because they are so promiscuous, and we all know that Zayn had a reputation but things are sligher. The hook ups and conversations between the school are softned and not so intense as before, which was a great point. Be prepared for one thing, though, they are damaged, like really. Poppy got so many issues with everything, it is so sad to see her struggling alone. And from the past books I didn't knew how much family troubles Poppy had going on. Seeing her caring about her siblings was really cute and amazing. Poppy is an incredible woman.
    The book was a lot better from the others, more softned, without so much drama and I loved it! I expect something like that with Fury too! But in the end of the day they still teenagers and there is always a little bit of drama, bad decisions and sad days..
    One thing I don't like at all about this serie though, is the fact that they are always getting drunk and wasted, which is sad and so wrong. I believe that this is something for Tracy Lorraine to reflect. And call me crazy but I am waiting for Harley story, cam we expect book 7?

    Poppy is Jake Thorn's cousin. Captain of the football team. She's happy to be in the background. No interest in socialising or being popular. She's smart, caring. Loves her younger siblings and Jake, she'd do anything to protect them. Her home life isn't exactly perfect, her parents have more or less checked out. With that, she's the only one her siblings relay on.
    She's counting the days for College.

    Zayn's on the football team. He moved to Rosewood High from a undesirable town, a few years before, with his Mum and two sisters. His defaul is jerk. Typical football player, player on and off the field. Which he's proven a few times where Poppy's concerned.

    She's been burned by Zayn a few times, but falls for his charm everytime. Hating that he has that effect on her. She trys to avoid him.
    But Zayn notices that something's not quite right with Poppy. Not that he's interested in her in that way, it's more curiosity.
    Does he continue his concern about Poppy? He does know that someone is hassling her.
    She is his Captain's cousin after all.

    Can Poppy stay in the shadows?
    Will anyone notice?

    This is such a gritty page turner. Full of twists and turns, some you don't see coming.

    Such a gripping read.
