    I absolutely loved this book about Athena and Gable. It took me a little longer then the others to get in to but once I was hooked, I was hooked.

    Gable is an undercover cop whose been on a job for the last couple of months, so when the girl who he’s likes walks in the middle of his job and things get spicy, it’s obviously the beginning of greatness.

    Athena has spent her life looking for her sister, she has done everything she can, followed any lead. Even created an app to help so her life has always been too busy for men. Until she gets gable. Their chemistry is hot, but just aren’t sure they are right for each other.

    I absolutely loved this book and well this series, I’m going to be sad once it comes to an end.

    I was lucky enough to receive an ARC copy of Time to Bounce and for that I am very grateful.

    Ahhh!! I loved it! Gable and Athena are close to becoming one of my favorite couples of this series.
    The chemistry, the drama, the absolute rightness of them. I loved it all! 😍

    Family drama is at the forefront with Athena and Gable will do anything to make it right for her.
    I adored their relationship and can't wait for more.

    Time to Bounce is the next book in the Carter Brothers series and finally gives us Gable’s story❣️Gable is known to do a lot of undercover work much like his twin brother, Garrett. Gable is very attracted to Athena, Maven’s bestie but stays away from her due to concern that the age gap between them would be a problem for others🙈

    Suffice to say, lots happening in this book and in their lives - some of which is downright shocking and I certainly never expected😳 A good read that ended far too quickly. I received an advanced copy and willingly leave my honest review❤️‍🩹

    Ohhh, we finally get our hands on Gable and Athena, and what a freaking rollercoaster their journey is.

    Athena is the kind of character you can't not love. She doesn't give up on those she loves. She's independent, smart, and fierce. She's loyal to a fault and sweet to the core.

    Gable is one of those alpha men who do things in the name of believing it's for the best, but you know it's not, but it comes from a good place, so you're not mad. His avoidance of Athena was hilarious, given that they were inevitable. Age gap be bugged.. this man had the opportunity, took it, and ran a marathon. Or thrust until she felt nothing but him... either way.. it was a whole moment I lived for. He like the rest of the Carter brood is stubborn but sweet. Fiercely loyal and, at times, intense.

    Their chemistry is undeniable, and with each page came more reason to love them together. They were both bull stubborn and frustrating, but they also got under eachothers skin in ways no one else could compete with.
    I loved the bickering and the banter. I adored the moments of sweet and laughed like crazy at the outrageous shenanigans. Quiads defiled office had me in hysterics.

    Of course, we had great side characters that just served all the personalities. A crazy mother who honestly I can't even get into... a stalker. Danger lurking around all corners. A what the ever loving heck revelation that I'm still not over!!!! And an epilogue that made my soul happy.

    What's a girl not to love. Once again, Lani did not fail to have me in my feelings, completely invested in this journey. Now ..... I'm waiting not so patiently for the next!!!

    I love these characters and this family. Amazing. The emotion, the drama, the suspense, the banter, just all the things. The Carter Family is loyal and they love hard. Gable has been one of the family members I have been a little indifferent about. But he definitely did not disappoint. Athena is smart and genuine but has faced a ton of loss. Gable and her are made for each other. Another 5 star must read in the Carter Brothers Series. Couldn't put it down. Highly recommended.

    Lani always writes 5 stars books. Funny, suspenseful and romantic. I'm always excited for the next one. Honestly I got a little scared when I started this and she called him "daddy" I thought "oh no I'll be cringing this whole book" thank goodness that didn't continue. Thank you for being an amazing author and giving us readers a world to fall into.
