I do NOT consider these to be stand-alone reads, as there are reoccurring characters, overlapping timelines, and overlapping themes. I HIGHLY advise these be read in the author’s recommended order, as there are two different series that are intertwined; The five Points’ Mob and the Dark and Dirty Sinners MC.

Contains referenced or detailed scenes with the following: adult language, derogatory terms in relation to women (and some men), steamy adult intimate scenes with dominance, submission, restraints, breath play, knife play, sensory deprivation, voyeurism, spanking and assault, as well as violence with kidnapping, abduction, murder, assault, rape, torture, betrayal, harassment, stalking, and mental, physical and sexual child abuse.
There are also mental health themes of anxiety, depression, suicide, body dysmorphia, cutting, etc.
Grammar: There are a few grammatical issues, primarily missing and extra inserted words. The problem for me was with the non-US based words and phrases used mainly overseas such as in Europe and Australia. I am trying to mention these for readers such as myself that visualize the story as it is read, as with every error or unfamiliar phrase, it interrupts the flow.
I am fully engrossed in these dark themed, gritty and violent stories. The threads between the two series I am sure is painful to plot and weave, but it brings everything to life. There are always several open items left start the next. I am learning that bits and pieces that I am have questions about, or feel that haven’t been answered, were left that way intentionally. So the few that I have with this one, I am confident will be addressed in another one soon. I love Brennan and wished more would have been shared about the physical abuse he suffered from his father and her life at the MC. Although Brennan knew she wasn’t “shared among the bikers” as typical clubw40r3s have been, it would have been nice if a scene was included to confirm her lack of experience.
This story focuses on Brennan, the second oldest son of Aiden Sr., and Cammie, aka Camille, the oldest daughter of the Russian Pahkan, that would have been forced to marry one of her father’s advisors if she hadn’t ran away. To protect herself she ended up joining the other females servicing the Sinners’ clubhouse and became Nyx’s main squeeze for her time there. Cammie only left after Nyx found his Old Lady and her father was kneecapped.
Cammie came back home and her father tried picking up where he left off by marrying her off to his advisor, an older, dirty, pudgy, disgusting excuse for a human. She was prepared to do what was necessary to make sure that didn’t happen, as Cammie knew she wouldn’t be able to run away twice. Her only hope to save herself was if Brennan takes her offer. She decided to go for a ride, something she had missed while she was with the Sinners.
Brennan was the “go to” guy for his family. He was bound and determined to keep his promise to Mariska, Cammie’s mother. The two of them had been lovers when he was younger and she had made him promise to look out for her girls. Brennan lived by a code of honor that demanded that he do everything he could to fulfill his promise, something that he didn’t give lightly. Since Cammie returned to the city, he has had her under surveillance. Finally he got word that she had went to the stables.
Brennan was determined to pick his own wife after the debacle with his brother Eoghan and his arranged marriage. Fortunately it had turned out great with the two of them falling in love, but Brennan wasn’t going to allow that to happen to him. Lord only knows who his da would want to garner a business relationship with next, maybe even their mortal enemy, the Italian mafia. All he had to do was convince Cammie and he could kill two birds with one stone so to speak. Imagine his surprise when after his arrival, she proposes to him!

Another amazing book from Serena Akeroyd. I have yet to find a book of hers that I don't love. This is book 4/6 of the Five Points Mob Collection and is the story of Brennan and Cammile.Cammile, daughter of Russian Mob leader, turns to Brennan to save her from an arranged marriage from hell. She doesn't want to be stuck in the Bratva world where women are looked upon solely as a means to produce heirs. She's hoping the devil she doesn't know is better than the one she does.Brennan is the second oldest of the brothers. He sees a marriage to Cammile as a way to fulfill a promise he made long ago. He also wants to avoid the possibility that his father make pick a wife for him before he has a chance to pick his own.I love that this story really focuses on the mental health issues that Cammile has and how Brennan helps to give her the confidence and support she needs to fight her demons. She really grows into an amazingly strong woman.
