    My favorite couple of this series! The overall series plot is incredible and this couples story is awesome. Fleur is such a great and strong woman. Casper is the ultimate protective alpha. Loved it.

    Blaze is an unputdownable epic read. Just when I think Alexandra Silva slayed me with Christopher and Arabella she goes and out does herself. Casper and Fleur are hands down my favourite couple in the series. I completed this book in one sitting and I could not get enough of the pair. The journey they took me on blew my mind and I was so captivated. I love Casper but my girl crush is 💯 on Fleur. She is amazing! This is a must read.

    This book had it all from a story that was filled with suspense, action-packed and oh so steamy! Fleur and Casper are an amazing couple with a connection full of sizzling intensity. I loved that Fleur is an absolute bada$$, it’s fantastic when the heroine is strong. Blaze by Alexandra Silva is an EPIC read that will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ARISTOCRACY!!!

    So I read the reviews and thought it was a good book but I only made it to 20% when I gave up. It was boring, confusing, and Fleur did not seem to be the badass that other reviews stated. She seemed obsessed with the guy even to the point of knowing when he cut his nails last. From her point of view she is constantly only thinking about the guy and how much she likes him. It's annoying.

    Since finishing book 2 in the Virtues and Lies series by Alexandra Silva I have been not so patiently waiting for the story of Casper and Fleur!

    Blaze landed on my kindle and I couldn’t wait to dive in.

    Blaze begins with a prologue set back a few months from where Scorch ends, where Fleur realises you is pregnant. A shock to herself and to Casper and believe me when I say I love Casper; I really do but his reaction deserved at least a swift kick for his reaction to the news.

    The story quickly unfolds bringing is back to the present where Casper is hiding a pregnant Fleur from their friends to keep her safe.

    Fleur is a fierce, feisty and strong-willed character that believes Casper’s protection stops at her unborn child. But like any deadly assassin Casper keeps his feelings close to his chest hiding behind virtue’s and lies in the hope of protecting his family.

    Blaze was an action-packed rollercoaster of a story full of suspense and twists and turns that had me hooked and feeling furious and utterly riveted as well as an emotional wreck at points too.

    Alexandra’s poetic story telling is beyond comprehension. Her beautiful descriptions along with her beautiful words paint the full picture telling this amazing story.

    Casper and Fleur are the perfect blend of darkness and their passion, bold personalities and strength.

    Once again Alexandra has blown me away and left me hanging, chomping at the bit for Freddie’s story. An amazing 5star must read! Congratulations Alexandra Silva – another epic story in my favourite series!!!

    I love this series! A magnificent third installment in these outstanding romance suspense stories that are so emotional, sexy and thrilling. You could read this as a stand-alone but I fell in love with Fleur as Cassie's bestie in the first book, Burn. Casper was always a mysterious, dark character as the Gladstone brother and former military genius. I love that these families are in the business of protecting not only their love ones but also the country and its citizens. Such noble individuals ready to give everything in their fight against the evil in the world, even family. Sometimes the emotional fabric of these stories will tear your heart out. Whether it's the super sexy, passionate romance or the dangerous, bloody suspense that's puts love ones in harm's way. Each of these stories are different and the romances unique. The author does a fantastic job of creating wonderful characters and individual love stories right down to the sexy parts that are swoon worthy and delicious. No cookie cutter scenes or emotions. I loved Fleur and Casper's story. It has all the heartbreaking emotion of the previous ones but still as distinctive as these characters. I loved getting to know Casper aka Big Man and the growth of Fleur from a sassy-mouthed young student to a fierce mother and wife. Outstanding character development. Such trouble is Fleur that only the fiercest of men could handled. And what a man Casper is. He has a dreamy hero quality along with the hot sexiness. An alpha to the max! There are suspenseful twists and turns along with the danger that puts a couple of the women in an untenable position. But these women are as fierce as their men. They step up when the time comes to defend themselves and their families. Like the others there are threads of intrigue that are left for the next story and it's going to be fabulous. The Sinclair male heir and the two women he's involved with. One back from the dead and the other a Gladstone beauty. I can't wait for Freddie's story. I hope it wouldn't be the last. My heart broke for Ryan. He needs a happy ending. This is a heart throbbing love story with a continuation of the thrilling intrigue with dangerous criminals and suspense. Also, wonderful family and friends with a few moments of humor along with the intense emotion. Absolutely terrific!

    Blaze starts off with setting the tone for the story with two intense and emotional prologues. There’s no doubt about Fleur and Casper’s connection or chemistry. It jumps off the pages. After the two prologues the story jumps into another tone. Action and suspense. Guns blazing. It’s one hell of an entertaining ride. Some twists along the way. One I didn’t see coming and liked cause it added another layer to the story and also to the dynamics between the characters.

    From the previous book Scorch I already knew Casper could be ruthless so that wasn’t a surprise but his humorous, vulnerable and possessive sides were and I couldn’t get enough of that. He could be become a monster when needed and especially for Fleur.
    Fleur just kept on growing throughout Blaze. An awesome character arc. She took charge and kicked ass. I especially loved when she took and laid claim to Casper. Badass lady!

    The Virtues and Lies world revolves around a group of characters and just as it was in the previous books they’re all present in Blaze too.
    Blaze is a fabulous romantic suspense with two great sub genres. Age gap and surprise pregnancy. The steam is off the charts and I especially enjoyed it because of the heroine Fleur. She knows what’s she wants and is pretty vocal about it.
    Blaze is the third book in the series and sets up the story for book 4. Let me just say that I couldn’t be more excited after that epilogue.

    I needed a few minutes to digest everything that happened in this fabulous book, once I had finished..what am I talking about? I needed a few minutes on a couple of occasions as I drew breath from the intensity, the twists, the burning up the sheets, the rawness of some of the events! This is a stand out, brilliant read that successfully combines romantic suspense with some harsh happenings, and a gorgeous, heartfelt and hard won romance! The tough Casper and the rapidly evolving, clever, strong Fleur, make for a sizzling, exciting combination which jumps off the page in ever increasing potency.
    This is an absolute must read and I am hoping that Alexandra Silva's family get used to eating take aways as it's imperative that she finishes Freddie's story asap..then I will have the pleasure of reading the whole series again! 💖💖💖💖💖💖

    I didn't think I could love a couple more than Christopher and Arabella, but Casper and Fleur have my cold black heart just as equally. Blaze molds my two favorite genres perfectly, and the suspense and intrigue woven into a beautifully broken love story is fanfreakingtastic! 

    The dark and sexy intensity of this book smack you in the face immediately. Though Casper and Fleur's relationship is supposed to be anything BUT a relationship, their deeper connection as two hurting souls is painful and perfect. Can we talk about Fleur and how she's this amazingly complex wallflower but not really a wallflower because she's a damn amazon warrior when she needs to be?! And Casper has sort of been this mysterious broody character up to this point and I am just giddy to finally dig deeper into him. He has seen some trauma in his life and it definitely has shaped his dark and calculating attitude just as it has made him into an incredibly loyal friend and protector to those he cares about. Together, Fleur and Casper's push and pull and melding together into the role of parent are truly captivating and emotional. Teary-eyed emotional. Really.

    Third paragraph in and I haven't really addressed the plot...and I'm not going to get more specific beyond what you can read in the blurb. I will say that Blaze is full of intrigue and suspense. There are nuanced sub-plots within a world of political corruption with a dash of royalty added in. What you need to know is that the characters are exceptional. The story is complex and completely tantalizing. The emotions are raw. The connections are sometimes brutal and so SO steamy. Why wouldn't you want a taste??!!

    5 plus stars for Blaze. This Virtues and Lies world gets better and better!
