Redemption

What a wonderful ending to David and Lianna's story. This couple is drawn in to the Faure family, and although Lianna is trying to accept the family, David is still very cautious. I was so happy for Lianna when she finally connected with her cousins, and was having a wonderful time getting to know them. She deserves the happiness after everything she has been through. David, though, is still concerned with the families activities, past and present, and does not want to leave Lianna in their clutches. This book had so many twists and turns, ups and downs, it captivated my interest from the first page until the last page. I absolutely loved the Jean-Luc deleted scene at the end... it helped to fill in the gaps of his story. This series is highly recommended!

This was such an amazing and fitting conclusion with well deserved hea for David and Lianna after everything they’ve been through. Ms Bene created emotional roller coaster that had me smiling, screaming, crying, and smiling again. But it was absolutely worth it to see these two amazing characters get their hea. I always liked David, even when I couldn’t completely understand him in the first book. But I absolutely loved him in this final book. Both characters were already complex and well developed but Ms Bene managed to show us even more of their deeper layers. And their relationship just continued to evolve with each page and grew even more stronger. I simply decoured this book in one sitting. The storyline was captivating with surprising twists and turns. It was truly a path of redemption and more than well worth the wait.

This conclusion of Fragile Ties will suck you dry with emotions and plot twists! I know this is the last book in the series, but it was so good that you will want more! My emotions were all over the place with how Lianna accepts her new found family at Uncle Jean-Luc’s insistence they visit them, while David is leary of every interaction after years of investigating the family. Then the secrets of Lianna’s father that continue to unravel with her Uncle Marc’s’ reaction to her. Uncle Jean-Luc uses Lianna and David’s past against them. Will David finally put his past behind him to accept his family? Will their relationship survive the threats against them? You have to read to find out and will not put the book down until you turn the last page.
