    This story line is simply something that happens a lot when women are pushed away by the man they love . Unfortunately the kids lose time with a parent because they screwed up & acted selfish at the time. Instead of communicating.

    All those years ago for AELA for her talent it was a good move for her independently and financially……. only the moving around so much & the lack of a father hurt Seamus in small ways .
    But he’s such a tough guy for a teenager having witnessed so much . Things he has kept from his mom . Seamus is simply amazing considering.
    Everyone reveals their secrets & the healing ❤️‍🩹 starts . And key 🔑 events revealed to help not only the family but also their ally the Mc ,understand and find closure on tragic events.

    This book keeps you engrossed and flipping the pages . They have such chemistry 🧪 it’s hard to imagine they were ever apart .
    They both made choices they thought best even if selfish at the time . Only to reunite & find their own explosive 🧨 harmony.

These guys are so protective and yet the bad guys get the better of them . Drives me crazy. I love these books .. outside of the pieces of story lines that involve Women being used against their will . I deal with those scenes and topics because they are a small portion of a book. Anyway I just wanted to get this off my chest. Alpha males normally catch the bad guys before bad things happen to their women. Just my thoughts 💭.

    Declan and Aela were lovers 15 years ago. He was in a relationship with Deidre (who is actually Aela’s friend) but he detests and hates her for blackmailing him. He wanted and loved Aela but when he ignored her after Deidre died, she didn’t know why he turned his back on her so she left for Ireland and disappeared from him. 15 years later, she’s back in NYC as a successful and wealthy artist with a teenage son who is Declan’s. I find this book very wordy and very long, I keep losing my focus. It was a good story, it has substance but I skimmed through it to get to the end.

    It’s official. I’m in love with Declan O’Donnelly! This book...I just can’t. First, let me just say that this Five Points / Filthy Feckers / Satan’s Sinners MC / Hell’s Rebels MC universe that Serena Akeroyd has created is beyond incredible. With every book, we get a little deeper into the story as a whole, we learn more about characters we love, and this world of Irish mobsters and gritty bikers gets more entangled, dark, and dangerous.

    So, yes, I’m all in for this world and these series! And as of now, Declan and Aela are my favorite couple. Their love story seemed to be written in van Gogh’s The Starry Night. It is epic! So full of passion and emotion that you have no choice but to get swept up and go along for the ride.

    Miscommunication, manipulation, a little blackmail and the folly of youth tear Aela and Declan apart. When their worlds are suddenly thrown back together, they both seem to know that nothing will ever tear them apart again. And when they do come back together, years of pent up frustration, love and desire collide in the most decadently delicious way!

    Aela is my favorite of Serena’s heroines in this world! She’s fierce, smart, loyal and loving. And Declan is a walking, talking dream! Handsome, observant, attentive, and sexy.

    I already had crushes on some of the O’Donnelly men - Finn and Eoghan - but let me tell you that Brennan and Conor are quickly becoming favorites. Even Aidan Jr. has melted my heart. And Seamus - that kid is awesome! The Sunday roast dinner may be my favorite scene ever!

    So, yes. I’m officially in love with Declan (and Aela). This book hit me in all the feels. It truly was a masterpiece!

    Secrets, secrets and more secrets come to light, while some are good, some are bad, others are gonna make people bleed. While their pasts are full of deceit and lies Declan and Aela deserve a second chance more than anyone. Aela has become an unbelievably strong, smart, creative and open minded woman. She is a great mom and doesn't hold stuff back from her son even if the truth is hard. And she won't let the patriarch of the O'Donelly clan corrupt her son either. Don't mess with a mama bear and she is in good company with the other Feckers ladies.

    Declan is misunderstood, damaged and the odd man out in the O'donnelly family. He likes the arts, the theater, and the opera to the dismay of his father so now he likes making people bleed when they hurt his family. And now that he is a dad he has some decisions to make, like not letting his son become him. Turns out there are many layers to Declan and I'm glad he didn't go downtown he road expected when Aela came back into his life. Then there is Seasum. Seamus is a breath of fresh air as a combination of all the best parts of the Feckers balled into one and clearly he is going to tip the Feckers on their ear with his world view. I hope he gets his own book down the road. I would love to see how he takes the Five Points world and spins it around.

    I was sucked in from the start and the book didn't want to let me go until the end. As we get answers to what really happened to Declan and Aela the heat gets turned up on the family and there are some rats that need taken care of and family to protect. There are some unexpected twists, more groundwork is layed out between the Feckers and Sinners and a world that is about to be set on fire.

    This was my favourite of the Filthy series so far. The first was super hot and mega steamy, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The second I just didn't feel the same connection to, although watching the character progression was interesting. This one, however, really got me. It was sexy, with a great backstory, had tons of action and set up the next book(s) well, and the characters were great. They were relatable, interesting, and damn hot. Definitely a great book. Can't wait to see where Serena takes it next!
