I always enjoy when an author goes off in a different direction, steps outside of her comfort zone, takes her work to a new level. This author has written about MC guys, and hot firefighters, but has kept it mostly to macho alpha heroes. In this story, her main character is totally different, and it takes her writing to a whole different level! Lucas and Wade are not what I expected. At all! Honestly, I'm not sure why I had any pre-conceived notions about this book, because the author constantly surprises me, and takes her stories in a direction I wasn't expecting! But Lucas is just a guy, going to school, minding his business, doing his thing, living his best life. Until he meets his brother's MC buddies, and one of them sticks in his mind, and just will not let go. But he's hiding part of who he is, and isn't sure how they will accept it. So he's hesitant to open up. This book is all about acceptance, family, love, growing up, and making life what you want. It's about saying that you don't care what anyone else thinks, and going after what makes you happy. It's a very sweet, inspiring story, that left me with a happy smile! Definitely a fabulous read, and one that anyone who enjoys this author should pick up and get started on!

If you are a fan of mm romance then I would highly recommenced this book. I loved Lucas and Wreck together. They're so adorable. It's so fun to watch big tough Wreck get wrapped around Lucas'finger. Wreck has a softer, gentler side when it comes to Lucas. Lucas is adorably nerdy. It makes me so happy that he has his family and now his brother's club family in his corner. I easily gobbled up the pages. I loved the epilogue. I thought it was the perfect touch to end this book. This first book in the series has me hooked and I can't wait for more from the series.
