About the Author

Tina Wolstencroft has a professional background in acting, improv, and sketch comedy that has allowed her to excel in voiceover work. Erik Bloomquist trained classically at the London Dramatic Academy and holds a degree in theater and dance from Trinity College. A member of Actors' Equity Association, Erik has extensive screen and stage credits, including stints on/at: PBS, Lifetime, Travel Channel, American Heroes Channel, Hartford Stage, and Ivoryton Playhouse. Erik is also a notable (and Emmy Award-winning) writer/director, Halloween enthusiast, and member of Connecticut Magazine's "40 Under 40: Class of 2019."

    Oh this story gave me all the feels! River and Maverick are my favorites, maybe even more so than their 1st generation relations. Their story was fantastic. It had everything, from romance, steaminess, to betrayal and heartbreak. And the emotions that I experienced while reading.... it gave me chills, I teared up multiple times and I felt everything they felt. Fantastic story, I couldn't put it down!

    TAB out did herself with this installment of NG MC. This story was a beautiful story of love and trust of a bond so deep it was completely unbreakable. The whole Colt part was confusing I got the whole " my baby girl you're not good enough" but what happened at the motel was unforgivable and the Spider of old would have enforced the Bejesus out of him. But in the end it still didn't lesson the perfect love story of Mav and River. I can't wait for Max and Delaney's story.

    I feel like I’m home from being away for awhile when I read one of these books. I always miss the OGs but Terri is killing it with these next gens. As much as I want more I do know they are meant to be fast reads. I do enjoy them. I usually hate the quick build up and fast close but I guess I just expect it with these books so it doesn’t bother me. Anyway let’s get into it.

    We get to know more about River (Colt & Kellis daughter) and Maverick (Spider & Willas son). We see them in the other books a little bit but now it’s their time to shine. A girl with Kellis craziness and a boy with Spiders intense nature? Yep. I’ll take 2. These two were destined to be at a young age. There relationship grew from friendship to love real quick. I loved how Mav was very protective like Spider in a way but still reasonable like Willa. I do believe they were a great match. Colt though? I was very disappointed in his behavior. I’m glad it was resolved but still. Very disappointed in him. Kelli’s little Sherlock Holmes work was not touched on a lot but I am excited to see what happens with that. Terri ended us on a sort of cliff. She likes to do that build up for her next books at the end of her books and it kills me every time. Waiting is so hard in the first place but then she does this to me? She is testing my patience left and right 🤣. Safe to say I’m excited for Max. Ravin and Bash’s son is going to be epic.

    In this book we get River Hannigan and Maverick Masterson's story. These two have been a couple since River was 15 now that her 18th birthday is almost here it is finally time to tell the dads. River is scared though not only does she have to tell her dad that she is dating she might have to tell him something else. On the night of her 18th birthday though all she wants it to keep the man she loves alive. She can't believe how much her father doesn't know her after all this time. The color of the cake is wrong, the flavor of the cake is wrong and he won't even consider her to be able to date. Maverick is determined to have and hold River till he takes his last breath on this earth. So on her 18th birthday he has every intention of asking her dad for her hand in marriage instead he asks to date her since her dad won't even consider him. He knows he will do anything for his girl other than give her up. Will they get the HEA they are both longing for or will Colt Hannigan make that impossible for his daughter?

    This is another hit out of the park by this author. Yes it has its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you on the edge of your seat from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

    I was pulled into this book right from the get go, staying there until I had read every single word that was written. While reading I had my mini movie playing along in my head.
    There are twists, turns and surprises waiting for you within the pages of the story. Some of the surprises you may see coming, while others you won't. Some are large while others are small, some may pull on your heart strings, while others may hit you square in the face. Each and every surprise holds equal importance within the story.
    The emotions that the characters go through can be felt, I actually went through the emotions along with the characters. There were a few times that I would of loved to reach into the book and punch them. I'm happy to say that by the enđ of the book they had redeemed themselves.

    It’s really great to catch up with the couples in Angels Halo again and not the younger generation. Maverick and River have had a long wait before they could be together openly and not unexpectedly River’s dad Colt takes it badly and behaves like a jerk, men! Luckily the rest of the MC help to sort things out.
