Professional surfer Mikki Tanaka didn't want to leave her beloved Hawaii, the ocean waves, or the vibrant sea life she's worked so hard to protect. But her protests and aggressive tactics didn't mesh with the law and she's found herself behind bars. Her choice? Ten years in jail or life as an Interstellar Bride. Never one to shy away from adventure, she decides to take her chances in the stars—with not one, but two sexy-as-hell alpha warriors on The Colony.

Surnen, a Prillon Warrior and trusted doctor, has been waiting for a bride for years. Banished to The Colony, he’s given up all hope, until a black-haired Earth beauty instantly steals his heart and his breath. But the highly disciplined doctor likes protocols and control, in bed and out of it. His second and an equally ruthless warrior, Captain Trax, agrees. Unfortunately, their new mate has a wild streak, a thirst for danger, and an appetite for violence that both shocks and thrills them. When her penchant for stirring up trouble brings danger to The Colony, they’ll stop at nothing to save her.

Nothing at all.

Pro surfer meets two dominant aliens!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💙❤️💚
Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙
World building: 🌏🌍🌏🌎
Character development: 🙃😊😉🥰
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙🎙
Narration Type: Dual Narration

The heroine: Mikki - she is a professional surfer and an environmental scientist who was put in jail for destruction of property when she blew holes in empty whaling ships. Now she has the choice between staying in jail on Earth or signing up for the Interstellar Brides program. Though she doesn’t want to leave Hawaii and the ocean, she really has no choice if she wants to be free anytime soon. So, she signs up for the program and is immediately matched with two men from the Colony.

The Heroes: Surnen and Captain Trax - They are Prillon warriors and Surnen is a doctor on the Colony. They were hard alien warriors who had fought the Hive, been captured and escaped. Surnen is primary and he is very dominant, always wanting control in everything he does. Trax is a ferocious warrior and is Surnen’s second.

The Story: Surnen was busy trying to perfect a treatment for a bacterium that has been infecting the Colony and the Coalition Fleet when Trax came to tell him that they had to go to get something on the incoming transfer pod. Surnen was too busy to take the time to inventory whatever it was that came in, so Trax told him he would be requesting to be primary if Surnen didn’t want to be there when their bride came to the Colony. Surnen was surprised to find that he was matched and had a bride now.

There was a lot of importance that Surnen put on following protocols, since his parents had been killed when they didn’t follow proper protocols. He was extremely proper and wanted to do everything by the book. Mikki fought against that but eventually understood his reasons and the fact that it was sometimes necessary. The story was good on this one, I liked how dominant the men were but how they also understood her need to work in the field she was trained.

This audiobook was told in dual points of view via dual narration. It was narrated by Cosmo Ravello, C.J. Mission and Lena Lee. Lena has a great voice, feminine and clear, which is very pleasant and age appropriate for this book. C.J. Mission has a nice voice and is a veteran narrator who always does a great job. Cosmo Ravello was new to me, but he has a deep voice which matched Surnen’s personality well.

I ACCEPT YOUR CLAIM, WARRIORS

While this book is part of a series, it reads well as a stand-alone and therefore is a story with unique characters and traditions. The Interstellar Brides program is designed to match up mates from Earth to Alien planets. Each book revolves around different alien and human matches and customs. The one thing that starts each story and then will continue the journey is the human female are tested in a laboratory at the Interstellar Brides Processing Center on Earth. The male aliens were tested with the hopes of someday being matched with a mate. In the testing process, the bride will dream of her matched mate or mates. Umiko ‘Mikki” Tanko of Earth loves the water and nature and believes in protecting them, but an act of violence has sentenced her to ten years in jail, away from the ocean and the whales she was trying to save. An offer to test and become a bride will be the journey of this story and meeting, not one, but two mates, Dr. Surnen Syrzon and Warrior Trax Lorvarz of Prillion Prime.

“It’s simply that to be matched to a warrior from Prillon Prime, you would need to show a desire and a psychological preference for having two mates to protect and care for you. You are matched to one, but the Prillion custom of taking a second means you will have two mates. One matched to you, one chosen by your match. Does that make sense? Your prison sentence is reduced to time served in exchange for your new bride status. As of this moment, you are no longer a citizen of Earth but of Prillion Prime.”

I loved the characters and some of the euphemisms that are confusing to both Surnen and Trax.
“Turned on? Are you currently off?” The three characters all how something in common, the loss of hope, and a future. For Mikki, it was when she was found guilty of a crime and placed in jail for ten years. When offered the chance to enter the Interstellar Brides Program, she will accept and be matched with two viral aliens. Dr. Surnen Syrzon lost his mother and two fathers and is a stickler for following rules and customs, unlike his parents. Warrior Trax Lorvaz was rejected because of his imperfections after being captured by the Hive. The men of Prillion Prime will learn quickly that Mikki isn’t quiet and submissive, and there will be clashes in this union—if she accepts them.

“She was passionate, fearless, and unafraid to speak of her desires. She would be pure fire in bed, and I could not wait to be burned. I wanted all that fire given to me, surrendered. I wanted her to submit to us willing, gift us with the passionate spirit we had only glimpsed so far.”

“The moment I’d seen her, that was when the dagger had landed in my heart. Her banter had twisted the blade; her desire shoving it deeper within me. We must win her over. To lose her now would break me in a way I could not have imagined.”

Both Surnen and Trax have integrations courtesy of the Hive. While Surnen isn’t ashamed of his and proudly shows all his imperfections to Mikki, Trax is subdued because of his shunning and mistreatment from his family. Mikki may be bold, but she is also compassionate and will help these two understand it isn’t the outward physical appearance, but the emotional bond that will heal this union.

“As you see, I’ve got tons of scars. They show we’ve lived, that we’ve survived. They’re like—badges of honor.” I used the world honor because it seemed they were full of it, that maybe he’d understand then. “Are you repulsed by me and my marks?”

The story has some dangerous moments of life and death and also an awakening of why rules and regulations matter. Surnen is a stickler for protocol, and when Trax and Mikki are facing death, he will help her understand her mate’s reasoning.

“Protocol saves lives. Rules are rules for a reason.”

“It hadn’t been love at first sight. Far from it. All three of us had walls erected around our hearts. Protecting them, keeping them safe from further harm. We’d all been wounded, not just physically but emotionally too.”

OMG, once again, Ms. Grace Goodwin penned a story was a page-turner, and as I said, while each story in this series is based on brides married to aliens, each is unique and worthy in its own right. By the epilogue chapter, I was laughing and crying happy tears as these three form their union for life and how tradition is essential and needs to be honored. The story is full of angst, desire, passion, and respect that includes sex scenes of ménage.

“Protocol and tradition matter to you, mate. And so they matter to me. I want you both,” I continued. “I want this to be perfect, not just for me, but for you as well. I want you to feel like you’ve done everything you could to protect me. I’m willing to compromise, too, especially when it comes to your customs and traditions. I know you will do anything to keep me safe and happy, and I accept that this is what you need to feel like you are doing that. I am taking care of you, too, you know. I want this. I want you to claim me the proper way, so everyone knows you are mine. I want them to know that I choose you. Both of you. You’re mine, and I’m never giving you up.”

Her Cyborg Warriors is another great story by Grace Goodwin. I love that Grace keeps you guessing with her books. In this book, we get two men Dr. Surnen Syrzon and Warrior Trax Lorvarz of Prillion Prime waiting for their one true mate Umiko ‘Mikki” Tanko an Earth woman.

Mikki is a strong-willed woman that I highly enjoyed her. She is eager to meet and enjoy her mates but not to trust them. Which makes for some interesting conversations. These three strangers have wonderful chemistry but do not trust either yet.

I highly recommend this series. Each one is each of their own.

What do you get when you take a strong female, a dominating doctor and a fierce warrior? You get one heck of a thruple! Mikki had two choices, stay in prison or choose the interstellar brides program. Mikki loves the outdoors, the ocean, and animals big and small. The thought of living in a cell for 10 years without the outdoors is worse than taking a risk on becoming an interstellar bride. She makes her choice and is immediately sent to the colony to meet her chosen mates. She's about to have her hands full!

Surnen and Trax had pretty much given up hope of finding a mate, especially after they were sent to the colony after having been captured by the hive and now have integrations. Surnan the dominate doctor has some baggage he needs to get through, especially when it comes to a wild make like Mikki. Trax the warrior Captain has his on insecurities because of his integrations and his families reactions to them. Both aliens have their idea of an ideal mate, however, Mikki may be just a little more stubborn and independent to just give in.

In true Grace Goodwin fashion, this book was fun, the characters interesting, the storyline took an interesting turn, and of course there are some steamy sexy times. My only complaint, the book was just too short for me. I wanted just a little more story and Trax, Surnen and Mikki. It was an entertaining read that I just wasn't ready to end. I definitely recommend and enjoy this entire series.

I continue to thoroughly enjoy every book in this series. And, they just get better and better! In the series, Interstellar Brides Program, “Her Cyborg Warriors” is Book 8 in the sub series, The Colony Book. All the Warriors have been sent to this planet because they were captured by the Hive and received integrations to their bodies and are not allowed to return to their home planet.
Both Dr. Surnen Syrzon and Warrior Trax Lorvaz are from Prillon Prime and have integrations courtesy of the Hive. Mikki Tanaka is an Environmental ecologist, who was a professional surfer and doesn’t wish to leave Hawaii. She loves the vibrant sea, the waves and worked hard to protect the environment of the oceans. Due to her aggressive tactics and outspoken protests, she breaks the law and can expect to serve a ten year term in prison.
She finds herself with the choice between prison or becoming an Interstellar Bride, matched to Dr. Surman and his second Captain Trax.
These three characters have something in common: the loss of hope and getting a happy future. For Mikki: she’s leaving her precious Ocean; a job that brings her a lot of satisfaction and faces jail. Dr. Surnen Syrzon and Warrior Trax Lorvax, have scars from the integrations: Surnen has accepted them, Trax feels he will always be rejected because of these imperfections. Can Mikki help them feel desired and loved? Can she accept two viral Alpha aliens? It’s like this: on Prillion the custom is to take two mates to protect and care for you. Ummmm, new experience for Mikki. There is a strong attraction between these characters but their are clashes of their personalities and one wonders if they will accept each other.
Mikki becomes aware that her new home has no Oceans, Lakes and the land is arid. She learns that a nearby Planet, similar to Earth is being observed by a team from the Colony due to reports that something under the water is adversely affecting Vulari and they can’t find the source. Mikki accompanies, a group going to investigate and faces grave danger with her Mates and they work together, as a team to free themselves. Will this endeavor help them to better understand each other? This is where you can get the book and get the answers to this question.
Grace Goodwin has shown us that learning to trust, listen and communicate, we can achieve love. The story is well written, entrancing, filled with action, adventure, romance and suspense. The book kept me interested and was enjoyable and steamy. Loved it!

Her Cyborg Warriors (Interstellar Brides Program: The Colony Book 8)- Grace Goodwin

The Interstellar Brides books that take place on The Colony (this is Book 8), are often more emotionally heart wrenching and also the most rewarding. The warriors on The Colony are from all different planets in the Coalition as they war against the Hive. These warriors have been captured by the Hive and modified in different ways with their mechanical integrations. The men are usually scarred emotionally as well as physically as they have been banned to this planet for having these integrations and are separated from their family. Most feel shame and embarrassment because of their integrations.
In this book two Prillion warriors, Dr. Surnam (dedicated, focused, goes strictly by the rules) and his second Captain Trax ( highly embarrassed by the integrations) are finally matched with a mate. They tested for the Interstellar Brides program years ago and to their amazement and surprise have been sent a mate.
Mikki Tanaka is a feisty woman, smart talking take no prisoners, adventurous and extremely devoted to protecting the sea and it’s inhabitants. She was a professional champion surfer who retired after one too many head injuries. She became an environmental specialist and has gone to extreme measures to protect those who can’t protect themselves. After bombing holes in several whaling ships she was sent to jail for ten years.
The Interstellar Brides Program offered her a way out if she would become a mate in their program. To her surprise during her testing she found she not only liked males who were a bit controlling but having two was even hotter.
All three main characters have issues physically and mentally, that have made it difficult to form deep bonds. With Mikki they find a way to heal, care and love once again. Despite her bold sassy, in your face behavior Mikki comes to care and understand these proud warriors. She views their integrations as style scars they should be proud of. She herself has many scars from her surfing career.
Despite instant physical attraction love was a slow build up that was further put to the test when Mikki ends up in danger and thye must work together overcoming fears and insecurities to save not only Mikki but all three.
This was a page turner fast paced read all night book with amazing world building . We meet fantastic yet broken characters who yeh author has flushed out throughout the entire book as they learn how to heal and become whole together. It has all the hot passionate steamy scenes as well as the whole range of emotions, action , danger, humor and love. Another great trip to The Colony.

This novel was well written and edited, with few if any typos that I found in the ARC version of this manuscript. The world building of the Colony and the uninhabited alien world that the heroine discovered the Hive machinery on that was destroying the world's ecosystem was quite good. The universe of the Coalition has been well established in the previous books in this sprawling series, but almost every novel sheds more light on a different corner of the Coalition. The characterization of both the heroine and the two heroes was pretty good, with all involved being vibrant characters. That is especially hard to do when the author is writing a menage or reverse harem romance novel, so kudos to the author for that. The development of the romantic relationship in this novel happened organically when I was reading it, but the fact that the whole novel except for the epilogue took place over a single day made the HEA a little hard to buy into, when I thought about it logically. I think I would have preferred it if the novel had taken place over a longer period of time. The plot and pacing of this novel were both exciting, and I was rapidly turning the pages wanting to know what was going to happen next! I read this novel in one sitting, so the pacing was excellent. There was little angst in this novel and very high stakes, which tends to be one of my preferred narrative structures for a romance novel. This novel used the sci-fi romance trope of Perfect Matches arranged by a high-tech computer system, which is a variation on the Mail Order Bride trope. The plot and pacing of this novel rated five stars, the world building and development of the romantic relationship rated three stars, and the characterization rated four stars, for a combined score of four stars. This novel ends on a Happy Ever After ending, just like all the previous novels in this series. That is a big plus for this author's work, because as far as I am aware, none of her novels end on cliffhangers. I recommend this novel to readers who enjoy alien sci-fi romances with the Mail Order Bride trope and fans of the previous novels in this series. I already pre-ordered myself a keeper copy of this novel, so I really enjoyed it.

I can not describe how much I loved this book and I do love a strong woman trying to fit into a life with two very hot and dominating males Surnen and Trax as her mates. They struggle to find that balance at first but when they do it’s perfect, and the explosive chemistry is off the charts and the passion only gets hotter and hotter. Umiko Tanaka (Mikki) has always been strong willed and fort for the underdog or for those who couldn’t speak at all like the whales in her beloved ocean that has her destroying boats trying to capture them for food and then gets caught lands in jail it’s either stay in jail for 10 years or become and interstellar bride, she chose being a bride and the biggest shock was she was matched to two prillion prime males on The colony. Surnen is a doctor and Trax who is his second is a warrior but they are not like everyone else because on the colony they have Hive inplants integrated throughout there bodies and are separated from the ones that don’t, but as soon as Mikki arrives all she saw was one mate because the other one was busy but when he arrived and was naked before her she was shocked but the view was very pleasing so now there are two very hot and horny males that want her badly but they never dreamed they would get a mate. Now they need to workout how to control her when she won’t let them. Truly an amazing book and a must read and you will never be disappointed with any book by Grace Goodwin because I’ve read them all.

Even after 20+ books in this series, the stories are still unique, sexy, romantic and full of drama and adventure. Grace Goodwin does a fantastic job of making the characters seem so realistic that you can’t help but immerse yourself into the story and cheer for their happily ever after.

The world building is vivid, the danger is stark and sometimes unsettling, and the whole story is so engaging you can’t put the book down until the end (and then you just can’t wait for the next book!). I am addicted to menage and reverse harem books, and this book is hot, hot, hot! You get two males for the price of one - a dominant and the emotional anchor - and all are devoted to her pleasure.

This book ticked all my boxes for this series: dominant men, pleasure with the pain, drama, romance, adventure, familiar faces from other books and, of course, very sexy scenes! These books are standalone stories but so much better if you read the series. I mark my calendar when I get the release date for any Grace Goodwin book, I know I will enjoy the quality writing and the amazing story.

Downloaded for free from BookSprout. I have volunteered to give my honest opinion and receive no compensation for my review. Since I rely heavily on reviews to make decisions about purchases, I will never lie or over-exaggerate my opinion. There is nothing worse than seeing a bunch of 5 star reviews and realizing the book is full of errors or just plain bad and not worth my hard earned money!

Umiko “Mikki” Tanaka, because of her aggressive behavior in trying to protect sea-life in Hawaii, was arrested and given the option of 10 years in prison or life as an Interstellar Bride of two aliens in the Colony.

Dr. Surnen Syrzon and his second, warrior Captain Trax Lorvarz, of Prillion Prime are the two chosen to receive a bride they have longed for. Surnen is a tightly disciplined doctor who adheres to protocols and control at all times. Trax is a ruthless warrior. Both of these dominant men will have a forced adjustment in attitude when they meet their bride Mikki. She doesn’t back down from danger and will face anything that comes at her – which is how she ended up in trouble to begin with! But as love and respect grow among them, each will adjust as Mikki learns not all rules are bad and can actually be necessary for survival. And her men learn that bending a few rules now and then can be enjoyable in its own way! Her feisty spirit and courage make her an equal force to be reckoned with – and her men love the challenge!

As always, this author gives us the very best stories, bringing the reader back again and again to read about the various aliens we are so familiar with (and the Colony is one of my favorites)! The story line is fast-paced and exciting as the three are trying to form their mating bond, each one learning to adjust their dominance to the proper level while allowing their strong mate to be herself! Grab your copy and immerse yourself in a fantastic experience you won’t want to miss!

Her Cyborg Warriors is the eighth book in the Interstellar Brides Program: The Colony series. It could be read as a stand-alone, but why would you want to? Mikki is facing ten years in prison when she decides to become a bride. Meeting her mates is nothing like what she thought it would be, though, but she’s willing to give Surnen and Trax a chance. But will her men tame her wildness before she gets herself into a dangerous situation?

There’s something truly special about the Colony books that just make them my favorite in this series. I think it’s that everyone works together, they all veterans who fought so hard to save others, and the women that are mates are all so strong and capable and full of love. This book was no exception and is probably my new all time favorite of them all! Mikki, Surnen, and Trax are all amazing, full of their own insecurities, fighting to protect those weaker than them, and trying to find hope and love in their situation. Mikki is so bold and brave and I love that she fights so hard for what she wants. She has two dominant men that she keeps on their toes, but I love that they help calm her mind when needed, too. Surnen is emotionally closed off, Trax is full of shame, both are obsessed with following rules, but both are absolutely perfect for Mikki. I loved all of the events in this book, their ups and downs in their relationship, plus the new dangers present from the Hive. So good! Plus that ending!! This book has everything, I think it flowed nicely, there’s danger, passion, and budding love, plus aliens and new worlds and I so highly recommend this whole series!

This is an insta-lust story, the collars that all three of the mates wear does take away a lot of needless angst as they can feel each other’s emotions and cut to the chase of what’s happening sooner than if you had to wade through a bunch of lies and half truths.

Mikki chose to become an Interstellar Bride instead of going to jail. While her crime is really mild an incarceration would stop her from doing what she loves to do best, which is take care of the environment from those that are destroying it.

Dr. Surnen her primary mate is all about protocol, order and controlling his emotions. Captain Trax his secondary while he’s a warrior he does have a more playful side to him, he helps to balance Surnen in their new triad.

Mikki while she may be of small stature she is not afraid to go toe to toe with her large warrior mates. She expresses her emotions freely, which shakes Surnen’s ordered wall to its foundation. Trax is secretly enjoying how she is bringing Surnen to life again.

These three have their share of demons and they have to learn to work together to make this triad work. There is plenty of heat between all of them. Plus it was nice to get cameo appearances from some of the other stellar brides and mates from some previous books.

The pacing itself moves along nicely and doesn’t get to bogged down in too much clutter. My only annoyance is the Ess El You Tee shaming that is being done. Let your female characters own their sexuality please no need for them to refer to themselves in a derogatory fashion for enjoying themselves.

Mikki was arrested for property damage. She was sentenced to 10 years. She chose to be interstellar bride in order to avoid going to jail. She was matched with trillion males. When she is there she meets her teammates. Her first and her second who want to be with her. Both of them have been integrated from the hive and have some type of metallic on their surface skin. Mickey needs to prove to both of her mates that it is OK that they are integrated. She demonstrated that she had scars herself and was OK and survived them. She is also a researcher. So is her first mate. Demanding, possessive, guardian and afraid to let her go both characteristics are all characteristics of both of her legs half. One fears more of a rejection any other one just is petrified of losing her. And she goes on this mission after only being on planet side less than 24 hrs. She is in danger. She and another have come upon the Hive. Are Surnen and Trax save her. Great rebellious female. Two out of three are stubborn as all heck. Something has got to give. No cliffhanger.

Jail or love, you decide
Can these three lost souls find their way to each other and a HEA that is written in the stars? Not without the help of the Interstellar Brides. As with all of these books, there is a fair amount of action and danger to keep the story moving, mixed with the interaction between the characters that slowly turns into a bonded love match. I love how Mikki learns she has her own code of rules, and how she teaches her mates that sometimes a little breaking of the rules will bring you to your greatest treasure. This book can be read as a stand-alone, but you are sure to want to read the rest once you get to the last page. I can’t wait to read the next book by this author.

A simply wonderful addition to this series….
I have thoroughly enjoyed every single one of these wonderful books, I would recommend it to anyone that wants a sexy read that once you start you cannot possibly put down, it is filled with hunky men and loyal mates that would lay down their lives for each other.
Surnen and Trax have dreamed of a mate of their own for so long that when Mikki finally arrived they realise that she has exactly what they need a heart large enough to love them both and to stand by their side and face what ever comes her way bravely and with humility she is their ideal match.
This story has been very cleverly told and gives you the perspective of each of the characters throughout the story, this is very carefully done and the story is filled with plenty of drama and action, once you begin reading this book you will no doubt like me find yourself in a state where you simply cannot put the book down until you reach the end. In my case this meant a very, very late night reading this wonderful book.
As always, I am left waiting in anticipation of the next book Grace will release filled with action and adventure, strong sexy men and stubborn opinionated women.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

Great addition to the Interstellar Brides Series. This one takes place on The Colony, convicted felon "Mikki" Tanaka given a choice between 10 years in prison or becoming an Interstellar Bride. Prillion Warrior Trax and Dr Surnen suddenly find themselves unexpectedly given a match of a bride. Neither can believe their luck but with the Hive intergrations will she regect them as all of their comrades and families have. Mikki can't believe her luck with the gods that greet her at the transport area, not one but two Prillion warriors eager to stake their claims on her body, to gain what they never thought they would have. With less than a day together they face the Hive threat again this time it is Mikki in a life or death struggle that only her mates can save her from. What can be better than a pair of hot Prillion warriors' and a pulse pounding adventure. Grace has given us another good adventure and a visit with old friends on The Colony. A short but good read!

Well, this was my very first novel by the Grace Goodwin duo. I can assure you it will not be my last. Even though it is stated that all of the books in the series can be read as a stand alone novel; I am eager to go back to the beginning and learn more about those who came before and are also included in this book.
This was an interesting introduction to a new author to me; the worlds which they have created; and the characters who have so much depth that you feel like you would recognize them if they passed you in the street. I understand this is a fairly vague review; but I am trying not to give away spoilers :) Read one and see if you agree.

I love the guys on the Colony. They do so much and have given so much. They just deserve all the happiness in the world, and getting brides is one way to do that.

Mikki is the latest bride to go through testing. She gets matched to Doctor Surnen who lives on the Colony. He was captured by the Hive, and they started to integrate him before he was rescued, which is why he's now on the Colony. He does a lot of work and research there though. His second is a friend, Captain Trax. When Trax tells him that his bride is on her way, Surnen kind doesn't believe it until he gets to a point where he has to.

I really like Mikki. I think that she's fierce. She's also not afraid to fight for what she believes in and for what she thinks is right. She's made some choices that really hurt her, but she thought they were the right things to do, and I kinda think she did the right thing.

Surnen is very rulebound, but I understand why he is. He is able to get past it, I think though, when necessary. He's a good man who is really smart, and who is really motivated to help people. We don't get to know much about Trax, but everything we do learn about him shows me how honorable he is.

Another great book from Grace Goodwin.

Once I started reading, I could not put this book down! Grace has a true gift with SciFi Hotties and she used it here to the max! Hot and steamy, action-packed and twisty, you'd better put on your seatbelt. Tons of emotions are seen and felt along the way as Mikki, Surnen, and Trax work out their pasts and insecurities to build a strong trio. The feelings all feel so real that it is easy to identify with them all. And Mikki's surfer chick past brought a unique spin I was not anticipating.

These books are a true escape where I am transported light-years away. This was my first so now I have to catch up!! I'm in love with Grace Goodwin's writing and The Interstellar Brides Program!

Mikki has a choice between 10 years in prison or becoming a bride. All for blowing up empty whaling ships. She chooses to become a bride as a professional surfer its hard for her to know she is going to the colony a dry planet. However, what she finds there makes up for everything. Surnam never thought he and his second Trax would have a bride. Contaminated by the Hive he thrives on rules locking his heart away. When Mikki arrives suddenly that all ends, both males want her desperately forom the start. So much that Surnam bares his body to her in the transport room. These males feel no one will ever love them due to the changes the Hive has caused in their bodies. Mikki shows them that none of that matters. The Hive is insidious though and when Mikki goes to help on an uninhabited planet all 3 may find way more than they bargained for. Another fantastic book in this series I love the Colony warriors. They think they do not deserve love but earth girls prove them wrong every time. Lots of spice with a great plot to keep you entertained form beginning to end.

Human Mikki Tanaka is in prison for blowing holes in illegal whaling ships, getting ten years for destruction of private property, so decides to get bride tested to escape the boredom and drudgery of a cell...She is matched to two Prillon warriors in the Colony since both captured and escaped with Hive integrations. Surnen is a doctor working on cures for virus's and Trax is a warrior who helps keep Colony mines safe from threats....while Mikki is former surfing champion who has Master's Degree in Environmental Biology and worked for contracting company with EPA on Earth....so is a scientist in her own right...She is a carefree rebel with a cause but Surnen is a man of rules, protocols and control while Trax agrees that her wild spirit needs a bit of taming...but you will need to read this intriguing story of the triad to see if they will be willing to commit to each other within the 30 days or if she will look for another pair of Prillon warriors...I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Her Cyborg Warriors is the 8th book in the Interstellar Brides Program: The Colony Book. These books can easily be read as standalones.

Umiko “Mikki” Tanaka, a human has been given a choice to enter into the Interstellar Brides Program for life or go to jail for 10 years for the crime she committed.

Mikki of course chooses the Interstellar Brides Program. She is matched to Doctor Surnen Syrzon and Captain Trax Lorvarz. Both are from Prillon Prime.

Mikki is an Environmental Biologist on earth. She loves the water and does most of her research in the ocean because she loves the water and the place she is going is “Barren. Desertlike”.

Mikki gets transported to the Colony and meets her mates. Mikki makes things interesting for her mates. Surnen never expected her to be strong willed and Trax thinks there is no way that Mikki could love him once she sees his body and the way the Hive integrated him.

I enjoyed their sexy as sin story! I love the world that Grace Goodwin has cooked up for these Cyborgs! I can’t wait to read more of these Cyborg stories.

With everything going on right now in the world what better way to take a break from reality and be absorbed by a Grace Goodwin release. Mikki rebels against rules, this is immediately made clear upon the meeting of her mate Surnen a strong advocate for rules, Trax his second is a fiercely loyal friend and together the 3 of them will help Mikki to understand in time her family's attitude, while Surnen and Trax will break down walls and find a love that they will come to discover how much all 3 of them need each other.

Rachel, Kristin and Lindsey who appeared in previous books in the series pop up which is always fun to catch up with previous characters.

This series is an addiction which I will continue to crave and make no apologies for :-)

Had the wonderful opportunity to receive an ARC of this book.

This was a fun addition to the Interstellar Brides series. While this book can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading them in order just to get a better understanding of the characters. The heroine, Mikki, has chosen to enter the Brides program rather than spend 10 years in jail for a crime that she committed. Don't worry, she's not some hardened criminal. Her matched mates are both living on the Colony and both have their own personal issues that end up causing some hang ups that need to be dealt with before the trio can be together. If you read any of the books in this series, you know to expect some steamy scenes as well as an enjoyable story line. In an interesting side note for readers of the series, I wonder if the new trainee at the Testing Center means that Warden Egara is going to get a story soon.....

There are so many books to this series and I missed quite a few of them I don’t know how I had done that anyway this book can be read as a standalone thank goodness. Mikki Tanaka loves the ocean and all of the mammals in it so when she gets into deep trouble she is given a choice 10 years in prison or become an Interstellar bride so she’s gets tested to be a bride. Mikki gets two aliens Surnen a Prillon Warrior who’s also a doctor and his second Captain Trax and when they meet Mikki they see the fire in her eyes and they love it but it can also be dangerous. Wowser I loved this story there is so much going on in this story that it will keep you reading right up until the end, another amazing story by Grace Goodwin and I definitely recommend this book.

No spoilers here

An eagerly anticipated book that didnt dissapoint whats so ever. This wonderful storyline is engaging and i must say a very different traditional way for the pavillions. And as for one mans protocols it just goes to show why they are there in the first place. I loved Mikki for these two men and vice versa because once the collars were on and feelings were felt it gave the other parties more clarity and understanding of what one was about.

Mikki has decided to be a interstella bride rather than going to prison for ten years. However her testing took it to the second stage where she was matched with a privillion dovtor and his second.
Surnen has been gifted with a mate and his best friend Trax is his second, when Mikki see these two wonderfully hot men her body instantly reacts. Bur after only one day of been together , whats starts out to be a routine day turns into a almost nightmare putting things on high alert as it seems the hive once more are involved.

I LOVE these Colony books. The fact that every "contaminated" warrior on the Colony feels ashamed and unworthy, due to the modifications done to them by the Hive, it makes the reader hope each and every warrior receives a mate worthy of them. Grace gave Surnen and Trax exactly who they each needed. Mikki has enough adventure and compassion in her to help bring these three together and form such a strong bond.

The story is told from all three points of view. And brings back some characters for some needed guidance and perspective. I have to say - Helion REALLY needs a match that will NOT follow his orders and I am looking forward to the day he is graced with that match. The way that all the characters are brought together at the end of the story was perfection and I loved that everyone received a satisfying ending.

The Interstellar Brides books bring warriors the one thing they dream of - a mate. These warriors' fight a war against an emotionless foe hoping to protect life and maybe one day receive the news that they have a matched mate. Don't wait, grab these stories and be prepared for some awesome alien hotties that would risk anything for their mate.

Thank you, Ms. Goodwin for answering some questions I didn't even know I had! Okay, guys, in this book, we've got Miki, a surfer from Earth, who's facing 10 years in prison for something completely ridiculous. Instead of prison, she opts to be an Interstellar bride and gets sent to Colony - where the warriors have some sort of Hive integration. She gets two guys - Trax (love this guy) and Surnen. Trax and Surnen are quite different. Trax is the more sweet, fun loving guy while Surnen is more dominant and take charge. They go through a lot in a very short amount of time, but the connections are well made. There's passion, love, and danger. Love, love, love Miki's story.

Mikki is an environmentalist found guilty of destruction of property and sentenced to 10 years or take the Interstellar Bride Program. Dr. Surnen and his second Cpt Trax have been waiting a long time for their mate. Surnen didn’t expect a mate that had a great deal of fight. Trax saw her beauty and was concerned that she would reject him for his integration of HIVE tech. This is strong set.
You have Trax that is such a romantic and a bit of fun. Surnen is all protocol. There are rules that need to be followed and Mikki is not one to follow them. These two are often butting heads but the logic is sound. They all have a past that needs to be shared and addressed but it takes an almost catastrophe to get them all to realize what is truly important. The sex as always is sooooooo good. Just imagining those hard bodies and other parts. Drool worthy.
