Carrie Ann Ryan is one of the premier paranormal romance writers and this novel is just one example of why. Her characters are always perfectly imperfect and well developed. Her world building is phenomenal and so fleshed out it's very easy to paint in a picture in your head.

But now that Ash doesn't have a soul will he ever feel for Rowan the way he once did, or will he fall further into the dark side? That's a big question but the biggest question of all is Rowan strong enough to ward off the evil that has befallen the town by Oriel?This story is filled with so much action and twists and turns you're not going to want to put it down. I soooo want to tell you what happens to Ash but I never do spoilers but UGGHHH I'm dying because I LOVED what happened sooo much that I want to share....but I won't so you'll just have to read it to find out for yourself.I would recommend this book/series to anyone that enjoys Paranormal Romances, Fantasy Romances, or Steamy Second Chance at Love Romances.Happy Reading!!!
