I hated that I found myself attracted to him. Especially since I was supposed to be on a self-imposed dating hiatus. Yet the two of us couldn’t seem to stay away from each other. We started hanging out, as friends. I even went as far as making rules for what he’d dubbed our “undates.”
But eventually, our explosive attraction became too much to bear, and we broke our resolve. I let my guard down and started to really fall for Colby.
Nothing could have prepared me for the ride he took me on. And I certainly wasn't prepared for where I'd wind up when the ride was over.
All good things must come to an end, right?
Except our ending was one I didn't see coming.

    Urgh, I can’t believe I’m saying this, because I love both these author’s work so much, but unfortunately this book didn’t work for me.

    The storyline started off great with a very entertaining opening scene. I loved the chemistry between the MC’s, and that of the other characters, and I especially enjoyed Colby’s four year old daughter Saylor character. She was such a sweet and loveable little girl and I loved how protective he was of her. I also loved the way Colby and Billie’s relationship developed over the course of the book and the banter between them was so much fun and entertaining to read.

    What I didn’t like was the plot twist, which completely ruined the book for me. I found myself so annoyed, bored and skimming through the pages just to get to the end… and that’s all I’m going to say about it. Remember this is my own personal opinion, so read the book for yourself and make up your own mind about it.

    Colby us a single dad who has a 4 year old and has no interest in getting involved until he meets Billie the tattoo artist in a shop where he is landlord.
    Colby meets Billie at an unfortunate time where she hates men thanks to a cheating ex, I will never see the word tinder without smiling ifykyk.

    Billie resists until she can't anymore and Colby and Billie make a great opposites attracts kinda couple. Until 1 night Saylor's mum is back and is making demands.

    This book has everything. I was reading literally laughing one minute crying the next. Its a complete emotional rollercoaster most if which I never saw coming for a minute.

    100% worth reading and the rest of the group books I can already tell will be off the scale.

    Another amazing book from this wonderful duo the way the write together is just seamless.

    Can't wait to get the rest of the books I know Holden is going to be a great one.

    After I finished, I’ve read it again.. because you know… GRIEF! Lol
    I’m being dramatic, but it’s the only way to describe all the feels inside my little heart!
