    I enjoyed reading this book because it has the sweetest falling in love story. I would rename it Scottie and Bubba-Hank, two of the charming characters in this book (now you have to read the book to find out who they are). Carly’s fiancé Brad meets with an accident and passes away. Josh is Brad’s best friend. Both Carly and Josh feel Brad’s loss in different ways when circumstances change and Brad’s dad passes away leaving his youngest son who needs care. Both Carly and Josh step up to look after the youngest son. This is a beautiful story of caring and love and a some humour thrown in the midst, just like real life.

    Losing Brad 2 years ago is something neither of them has come to terms with.

    Caring for Scottie, they get to know each other and develop a connection.

    It never ceases to amaze me how again and again, this author expresses profound creativity and originality. All the while captivating the audience and creating the ultimate fantasy story. I hung off every single word. Felt every single emotion. I was completely and utterly invested in these characters and their topsy turvy, tumultuous and challenging lives. A story that mesmerised and made you really sit back and think what it would be like to live this way and have this responsibility and endless capacity to give and love every minute of it. These characters had hearts as big as an ocean and I fell helplessly for them all. This story? Easy to disappear into. Impossible to forget. 5 stars.
