    Choke me is the second book in the KKinky Reads Collection. Now I loved Share Me, it was hot as hell, the story felt well explored and thought out, and I didn't feel like anything was really missing from the story - which to be fair is pretty hard to get right in a novella. Choke Me felt lacking in some of these aspects in my opinion. I liked the premise, I liked the characters, the exploration of breath play was fascinating and pretty steamy. So what was my issue?

    As I was reading the story I just felt it missed some connective content, something to add a bit more depth. The characters of Ren and Natasha went very quickly from enemies to lovers, it was very insta love. It's a novella things have to happen fast but I wanted a bit more meat on the bones outside of the main plot points just to plump it out a bit and create that flow in the story.

    I still enjoyed Choke Me, Ren and Natasha had chemistry, plenty of steamy scenes and as always Ker and Kristi write well together. The premise leant itself to the dramatic moment towards the end of the story. However it just left me wanting...... Yet still looking forward to what Daddy me is going to bring after the little clues dropped throughout Choke Me.

    I never expected I'd enjoy a book about Breathplay. But this was pretty good. I probably won't read anymore on the subject though, but as always Ker and K Webster have managed to weave a hot love story into the kink.

They both know she wants more. Because regardless of her mission, she’s curious, very curious. She may want answers to what really happened to her bff, but she wants to climb this man like a tree. And he’s more than accommodating. When they get together it’s fast and furious, because they’ve been toeing the line for months. It’s hawt!! Like omg more please. There is witty banter, great character development, intrigue and interesting storyline and a very satisfying HEA. And we kinda get an idea of who will be getting a story next. Ren’s big bro Ronan who has a daddy kink. Can’t wait for his story. My only complaint and it’s completely minuscule is that it’s never mentioned why Ren likes breathplay or how he got into it. Kinda curious. It doesn’t take away from the story and it possibly wouldn’t have added any more to the story, but I’m just curious. I’m hoping in Ronan’s story we get a little insight in why he digs his kink so much. All in all, super fun read and I’m really digging this series. Have fun.
