    Book two picks up where book one finished, although book one is written in Lily’s POV this one is refreshing as it’s written in Duff’s POV😍

    Things are starting to unravel as Duff is forced to make decisions which lead the team to knowing more about him than he wants them to know....but to gain trust, he needs to control what information he gives them and stick as close to the truth, without revealing HIS truth🤔

    Looking forward to the final book in this trilogy and have to say this is Meli’s best work so far as it’s intense, got a few action packed scenes and twists hitting me left, right and centre💕

    I took one star off because this book is not a complete story. It's the second instalment of three and it ends in a cliffhanger. I took another star off because it felt like there were several books before this one. So many things that happened to major characters that everyone knows about except the heroine. It could have been handled better, and I felt very much left out of the loop.

    I had a little trouble switching from Lily's point of view (book 1) to Duff's point of view (book 2). I wonder from whose point of view the last part will be? For the most part I liked hearing Duff's thoughts - he's the more crucial character in this instalment. The writing is excellent and the plot is really complicated. And yes, I've bought the third book, too. I just feel it should have been made clear from the start that this one story is sold in three separate books.

    I am living this series. The suspence, its fast paced. Flows well. Lilly has to pretend she does not know who her shooter is, if not, everyone she knows will die. Its getting harder to do.

    This one picks up right where book one left off. Only this time it’s told from Duff’s point of view. Duff has secrets too.

    Duff and Lily are now closer than ever. But there is still someone trying to kill Lily and we still don’t know why. Throughout this book, small details of Duff’s past are revealed a little at a time. I’m still not 100% sure how all of this goes together yet.. but that ending!!

    The ending was so perfect. You think they are finally going to get some sort of happy ending but at the very last chapter, I am confused and speechless. I could not tell you what happened or why it happened. This ending was so perfect because it literally forces your hand to start the next book. It’s the biggest, yet most well thought out cliff hanger I have ever encountered.

    Absolutely loved this and the first installment. The suspense is fantastic. The emotions. It's a real page turner. Love the romance between Duff and Lily. Thoroughly believable characters and situations (have read so many authors who cant pull this off) Only negative is that I feel there's a whole background story which i havent read but I feel I need to. After having read the first 2 books in the False series (the first was Lilys POV as she emerges from a coma - superb. The second was Duffs POV as he tries to keep her safe and unravel the mystery) I now cant wait to start the third book.

    Awesome Read. So much suspense and twists and turns. You don’t know who to trust, or who is on your side. Lily and her bodyguard Duff, are busy trying to figure out who is after her and Jane. Duff knows she is keeping things from him and is waiting for her to tell him the truth. But Lily is still not sure who to trust just yet. Romeo definitely isn’t a favorite of either of the ladies and Duff is starting to see that. Pieces are starting to come together. The book is definitely keeping you on the edge, and I can’t wait to read the next book.

    Book2 has more complex issues for Lily and Duff Lily talks Duff into a hike that ends with each of them killing their so called back up. They fight to survive each has to fight for freedom. Duff kills one and to save both her and Duff she stabs the last one in his head Duff throws both dead men over the cliff. They escape back to his flat with the help of his bosses coming to the rescue . This storyline has it all excitement horror love and ends with Lily vanishing and Duff close to death by spider bites. Can't wait for book 3 . Excellent read recommend these books .

    This is my first reads for Meli Raines. Her story telling is different, unique, and addictive. Her ability of spinning a tale. Lily and Duff are complicated main characters who I couldn't get enough of. I purchased the audible so I could didn't have to put this book down. Andi Wendy and Sebastian York are amazing. The one bad thing was that this book is a series. I find series is books insulting. With that being said, I will suffer series just to read more of this tale. Loved every book.
