Every new release Vi Keeland is involved in has me beyond excited and ready for anything. No story is the same, and they always leave me with a soul deep appreciation of the talent and effort that goes into each and every paragraph. The Invitation moved me to tears, made me fall in love and it also made me so thankful that I get to read these incredible and distinguished stories. The Invitation shines above all others. I will never forget these characters and the impression they had on me. It will certainly be a challenge to top this classy little number. 5 stars.

    Thoroughly enjoyed this book. I had trouble putting it down, even to sleep. Loved Stella, and her quirky kind of ways. The whole sniffing thing, even though I understood why she did it. The dairy thing fascinated me and I admit I wondered if that really is a thing.
    I loved how she and Hudson met, although he didn’t know at first who she was, but he sure got her, until she rose to the challenge.
    It was a real slow burn between them and I loved Charlie and her love for Dolly. I have to admit I had a feeling I knew what was coming from the snippets Stella revealed from the diary, but it was still hard to read. A real emotional roller coaster at times, and sexy too.
    Hudson seemed like such a tough nut to crack at times, and Stella didn’t go quietly either, but for all the pitfalls and ups and downs, there was only one way it could end for them. Loved this story.

It's well written and mostly correct spelling, (I found a few mistakes) but overall a good book, so why only 3.5 stars? Because at the end I was left with unanswered questions and I wondered if the author was going to send us a link to download an extended epilogue or if there was a novella to THE INVITATION but sadly there isn't and in the absence of unfinished questions to this story, it left me with such disappointment. On one hand, I recommend this book and on the other, I wonder if it matters to other readers or am I in the minority on this.

    This was a cute story. I liked the way our lovelies met each other, and I did laugh out loud at that part.

    Stella is awesome, and I love all the New York City-ness of the tale. It made me want to go back to NYC for another visit.

    I did feel though, that everything, and I mean everything was a little too easy for her. I mean, good on her, but sheesh if only things happened that quickly and easily for us all.

    You can't help but adore Hudson and all his swoonishness.

    But the character I wanted, no need more of is Fisher - you will too.

    One thing though, and this happens with all Vi Keeland books - there is always some big thing that happens, and this time it wasn't really necessary. I mean, this reader got what the big thing was in the first half of the book, then I was waiting for the other shoe to drop for the big drama thing to happen. I even messaged my co-blogger up there "oh, here we go again". But this could just be our thing and not bother anyone else.

    Very cute, very chic story, and I know I will be all grabby hands when the next Ms Keeland book arrives

    I enjoyed the story of Hudson and Stella. It was a slow burn enemies to lovers romance which was sexy and the chemistry between them so palpable. Their banter was cute and real and there were some very funny moments to their coming together especially when they meet for the first time when Stella crashes his sisters wedding!

    A cute story of meeting the one when fate steps in and when you least expect it.

    I listened to the Audio version which was very well narrated by the talented Sebastian York and Andi Arndt.

    I just couldn’t stop reading this story. So many twists and turns the ending blew me away never saw it coming. Hudson was a jerk but then when you find out the reason behind it he’s really not. Stella is definitely in her own mixed emotions but she finally has a leap of faith. Loved Fisher her wacky gay friend. The side characters were interesting and definitely helped with the story. My heart went out to both Hudson and Stella but they find their way. There were funny parts that made me laugh there were parts that made me want to cry I’ve already ordered this to put it in my library because I’ll be reading it again. I’d give it more than 5⭐️’s read this you won’t be disappointed
