This series is getting better and better. In the aftermath of the fire that left everyone devastated, Maddie and Tyler still have a whole heap of problems in front of them before they can find, what we all hope will be, their happy ever after .

Maddie is still reeling from the death of her friend and all she can focus on is revenge. I'm in agreement with Tyler here though...it's a bad idea!   Tyler knows that if she follows through with her dreams of getting back at Carlos and Logan then he stands a good chance of losing her forever and with everything the pair has been through, neither of them should have to face what comes next.

There are some interesting story twists within this part of the series. We find out that someone has been keeping a rather large secret (did not see that coming) which has the potential to either save Maddie or get her killed, needless to say, Tyler is not impressed the turn of events. Tyler shows off his very impressive drone flying skills - again. And this pair really have a thing about fires...mainly starting them! Tyler has already burnt down his apartment, this time it's Maddie who becomes the arsonist. Someone should ban them from ever holding a box of matches!

I love Tyler. He is funny, caring, protective and sexy. I would need him to have a shave though...bit of stubble is sexy, full beard - not so much (personal preference). The internal monologues that he has, where he goes off at a complete tangent, are hilarious. You have to be really focused on what you're reading otherwise you'd be completely lost with some off the things he comes out with.

Julie and Johnathan have made an absolutely fantastic writing team. Having read many of Julie's books and finding them all addictive,   I have often wondered why established solo authors team up with other writing partners but I'm so glad that these two did.

Patiently awaiting the final book in the series and really hoping that this will not be the last we see from this writing duo.

I’m really enjoying this series, and the penultimate book in the series was as funny, witty, sexy and entertaining as the first two and a bonus there was some action thrown in.

Tyler oh God I love him although this time I was rolling my eyes at him a few times, but in a good way because his character and his disposition really do amuse me. He his heart is in the right place and nothing was going to stop him from protecting his woman.

“Because some people just stay with you, ya know? Some people just find a place in your heart and call it home.”

I was a little surprised this one didn’t end on a cliffhanger but have no fear it still left me desperate to know what’s going to happen in the final book. I’m guessing Tyler and Maddie although they are slowly getting to a better place to together and individually Tyler and Maddie still have to come to terms with the past and their issues so that they can finally move forward.

Now just waiting patiently for the last book "Passion Rising" landing on my kindle next month.

This side of Maddie is what I wanted to see!! She basically says screw everything and wants to take the control back. I love it! How she handled Carlos was perfection.

Tyler is still the same and can make you laugh in any situation. I love how lost he was without Maddie even though it was only 2 days. She is his other half in every sense.

I love how their story grew and we learned more about them and I really loved the letter Maddie wrote for Tyler.

This story felt like it could have ended with this installment but knowing Julie, she’s gonna drop some bombs in the final book.

I loved all 4 of these books they were brilliant. I don’t normally enjoy one couples story spread over 4 books, but this story fills them well.
Definitely in my top 3 of this year, which is a tough list this year!

I've read in this series, and I did find myself skimming through the babble to keep the plot alive, it says something that I read three, because I was enjoying them but that's it for me.

This is the third instalment in this seriously hot brilliant series. I think this one was my favourite instalment so far.

I absolutely adored Maddie in this one as she reaching her breaking point and taking control back. She was so feisty mixed in with a tiny bit crazy. I loved how in love with her Tyler was, he will do anything for her......swoon!!

Its hard to write this review without giving the plot away and ruining your enjoyment. This is one hell of a MUST READ. I am on the edge of my seat waiting for the fourth and final book Passion Rising

As Flesh Into The Fire (Original Sins, #3) picks up pace, I still miss the jaw-dropping moment I absolutely love in Huss' books.
The duo Huss/McClain took me onto an intense ride, filled with action and humour and characters I find touching. The writing is classical (romance-wise) and could be less cliché ("the breath I didn’t know I was holding"...ahhhh...come on, guys!).
But overall, the story did a good job keeping me entertained.

Its a WOWZER and I LOVED IT!!! It is So So GREAT!
First You cannot read this Book without reading books 1) Sin With Me and 2) Angels Fall. so if you are reading this Don't, Stop go back and start with book 1.

Book # 3 "Flesh Into Fire"...well its exactly as it sounds Dramatic with Lots and Lots of action and the "Results of Fire" So of course we start this book picking up from book #2 Angels Fall which ended so dramatically. We open with Maddie and Tyler having to deal with the fall out of everything that happened that night at the Strip Club. So we watch them deal with Mourning Together, but of course Maddie believes its all her fault and we now know how Maddie reacts, a girl on Fire, not always using her brain muscle. And we have Tyler the over so want to be Fixer. But as you will see, not everything can be fixed Alone.

Maddie has dealt with so much guilt in life and now Has the dealings with the Carlos head of the drug cartel whom insists she owes him, a deal was struck and she is refusing to allow Tyler whom could easily pay of any debt but would the debt ever be paid? With Carlos I say No. But I didn't quite see things come together the way they do in this book. With the shocking end to book 1 and 2, this book is just dealing with tons of stuff and its all over. The thoughts in these two peoples heads they we get to be privy to I LOVE! Being in a lot of person as it had been it lets us exactly what they are feeling all the time.

Your going to get Mad as all get Out, your are going to think what the Heck A Lot!!! You might be disappointed and Your going to Cry! Yoru going to see the Passion that burns between these to come to a head and even though they have resigned to loving each other, this time they realize They Need Each Other and if things are going to end then go out with a Bang and Being with the one you are suppose to be with, not some freaky Carlos who loves the idea of having Maddie!
And before you know it these two characters come to a point were they are actually thinking exactly alike, wishing for the same things when not together, remembering the same things and actually praying for it to HAPPEN!

And of course this winds up coming all together to another huge explosive end! And by the end you'll be clenching your chest, wondering can this be happening NOW?

Julie A Huss and Johnathan McClain have pulled off a wonderful series here, we become so wrapped up in these characters that again WE NEED The Next Book NOW! They did such a great job of getting us from A to Z and then it feels we go back to A will we eve get to the Z and stop climbing the walls of Struggle called Life. The fallout from Carlos and getting to meet him and see that world a little but is scary and tense but also the fight that I think Maddie Needed, she needed the purpose of doing something right in trying to take him and Logan down and in that process does she find that he might have a soft side, it appears that Yes he does, but is that real. And Logan, what a real piece of work!

I just want to get to Peace, will we get to that, can these Soulmates that have endured so much In Life be able to come together and actually learn to Work Together. We will continue to have obstacles because I just think this isn't over just Yet...I can only hope they get the happily ever after they so deserve, Next Time...if only "The Time Is Right!"

So if some reason you have missed this series Jump in and get caught up because in another 2 weeks or so The Last Book will be on our Kindles probably breaking us down a bit, just to build us back up again, while also continuing to give us some fabulous Sex Scenes...that is so HOT! The Beach Scene is just WOW and not only because of how hot it is but what is BECOMES TO THEM!!!

    Get It NOW!

“We are connected by something more powerful than shared sorrow. And every moment we’ve spent apart has been valuable. Necessary. Critical.”

I love the character of Tyler. His personality, way of handling life’s challenges and immediate defense of Maddie. With no regard to property, he puts people first every time.

His inner monologue continues, and it’s grown on me. Rattling around in his disheveled brain and thought process is interesting.

Almost a HFN this time round. On to book four.

4.0 out of 5 stars Love This Series

I am thoroughly hooked on the Original Sin series. I’m one of those readers that continually looks at the current page or the percentage of the book read. I don’t know why but I’ve done that since I was a kid. (Of course, as my kids always remind me, in the olden days there was only a page count.) The problem with doing that while reading a series,is that I continually think, just a couple more pages and I will know what happens next. Then when I get near the end, I start thinking, slow down you are going to die waiting for what happens next.

Flesh Into Fire is the third book in JA Huss and Johnathan McClain’s Original Sin series. Flesh Into Fire picks up immediately after Angels Fall. The tense plot continues to build. Maddie is determined to continue with her plan for revenge and Tyler is anxious while remaining supportive. The couple is trying to develop their relationship while dealing with their dangerous plans. This installment of the story is fast-paced, filled with action-packed twists and turns.

There are moments that I literally held my breath waiting for the plan to fall apart. There are times when I don’t know who to trust or what is real. The story continues in the alternating points of view of Tyler and Maddie. I love these characters, and the more we get into their story, the more I love them. At one point, I experienced goosebumps, closed my eyes, and took a deep breath before continuing to read.

I can’t wait for the final book in the series, Passion Rising. I know this duo is planning a big finish. I’m anxious, excited, and eager to know what happens next. I have a feeling about someone who may be an unexpected “bad guy,” but I’ve read enough Huss books, to know that I can’t always predict what is going on in her head. I do hope that this team continues their partnership because they write exciting suspense. Come on May 8, I need Passion Rising. If you are a fan of romantic suspense, you must read this series. Flesh Into Fire is a great ride that will keep you engaged from beginning to end. In the meantime, I will have the audio for Angels Fall to ease the wait.
