I didn’t hate Dex Truitt. Not really. But I didn’t need him rubbing his happiness in my face either.     A decent read with a enjoyable story to keep you interested. I enjoyed reading this but I didn't devour it like can happen with some books. The characters were easy to read about and overall a good read.

    This is another fantastic addition to this amazing series and is Ash ad Caroline’s story. When Caroline’s friends-with-benefit arrangement comes to an end with Dex finding the woman of his dreams, she moves to Ohio to start afresh. Ash is not amused when his boss hires him a new assistant, and he finds out that it is Caroline, the woman he tried to rescue the previous day. Caroline thinks that Ash is a demanding and arrogant boss, while he thinks that she is a pampered princess, but the chemistry between these two is intense and undeniable. This is a well written tale which is filled with witty banter, fun, and is a humorous read. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I recommend.

    Loving these characters so much. Dominant Ash meets his match in Caroline. Love the twists and turns that link them together and seeing an old friend was so much fun.

    I LOVED this book! I’ve never read any of the books in the Hero Club series but now I want to thanks to this one. Ash and Church will have you turning page after page wanting to know what’s going to happen next. I really connected with the characters (no surprise there) and truly enjoyed the storyline that Ms Lafawn planned out here. I genuinely recommend this one, especially if you aren’t familiar with her work! Best one yet!

    I loved the fact that Ash had no idea who Caroline was at first and the way he dominated her.
    The part with the other ‘grandson’ turned out to be someone Caroline knew was just perfect.
