I never imagined that I’d be adding Manager of Operations for Park Street Animal Shelter to my resume.     This book was an enjoying read. I loved the history between Grayson and Kelly. They showed that even know things may happen to you in the past doesn’t mean that it will stay the same in the future.

    This story was like trying to find the missing link and finding out what actually happened between Grayson and Kelly. You find out what happened but the why .... later on. Chemistry flying between them but old hurts and the past between them. Love hearing of Aubrey and chance on this story to. Great second chance story read.

    An amazing story filled with angst and chemistry.

    I love Ashley's writing and of course this story was no different.

    She has a way of captivating you and Kat and Grayson defintely did that.

    A great addtion to the cocky world. I look forward to more from Ashely in the new year.

    This was a really good book. There was plenty of steamy chemistry and passion. There was a history of pain and betrayal between the two and he spent the story trying to fix that. This storyline was fun and really pulled me in it is a definite must-read.

    LOVE Greyson and Kelly's story! Lack of sleep because I decided to binge read it right at bedtime can attest to how much I love it; took me about 4 hours to finish.

    I love that Greyson has clearly hung onto his love for Kelly for 4 years; there has been no other relationship for him during that time. He never gave up on finding her again and doing whatever he could to win her back again. It was never a "maybe" or "if" but "how" and "when".
    Kelly has been burned badly; so badly that it even ruined her future career. But she preserved. She kept putting one foot in front of the other and let fake take her on her life's course. After running into Greyson again, she put on her big girl panties and tried to move on with her life. Thankfully, she is also still in love with Greyson and eventually get sucked back into his arms.

    And Tessa...I could knock the girl out.

    This book was well written with no grammatical or spelling errors that jumped out at me. I ALWAYS appreciate that in a book. I LOVED the idea of this story, but I feel like there were a few character reactions that didnt ring true. The sister for example, seemed excited to see Greyson... As close as Kat and her sister were, it would have been more believable for her to hate him and to be concerned for her sister, not be happy that they were reconnecting. It felt disloyal. I mean, this guy literally shattered her sister's heart and ruined her aspirations. He should have been raked over the coals. Then, there was Kat/Kelly... There was a lot about her character that just didnt fit. The clumsy scenes would have been okay had they not been so over the top. What was intended to add levity actually made her seem incompetent. That gets better as the story progresses but first impressions tend to color the rest of the story. Add the fact that the author wove an exceptional, dramatic, angsty back story that she set up perfectly... I was RIGHT there on the verge of all the feels.... And then it fell a little flat. Grey tells Kat the truth and she is just like "oh, okay, I love you." This was the love of her life. They were talking marriage, and then he just pulls that horrible stunt with no rhyme or reason and literally shatters her world. First off, where was her anger at his lack of trust or at the fact that the whole fiance charade was HIS idea. He set out to humiliate her publicaly and never even confronted her about the rumors against her. She should have reamed him a new one for that alone. He was doing good working for her forgiveness but he needed to effen grovel for that crap. Then the big conflict happens and again, Kat runs, hides and then..... Suddenly all is forgiven and happy again. Way too neat and easy. What could have been powerful, emotional moments ended up being resolved neat and tidy wrapped in a bow. It really weakened Kat's character. I really think the disconnect is due to the fact that Kat tells the reader how she feels and is processing things rather than communicating these emotions through dialogue. It was more of a tell than a show and that took a little of the emotional impact out of it because the characters dont face their issues together. It wasnt enough to make it a bad story. I absolutely recommend reading it. I just saw and felt potential for more. I will definitely check out more of this author's work.

    This book is fan-freaking-tastic!!! Very beautiful second chance romance. What tore them apart was devastating and gut-wrenching! It had my stomach twisting. Grayson's efforts to win her back after his HUGE mistake is nothing short of SWOON-TATSIC!!! His "grand gesture" is so grand that it was the tear-inducing kind of beautiful! And the sexual tension was ON POINT! I am a huge fan of when couple fool around but for some reason or another don't go all the way..... that makes it so much more explosive when they finally get it ALL in! (at least for me it does).... that anticipation gets me every time. I am a huge fan of Ashley Munoz but she outdid herself with this one in my opinion and I can not WAIT to see what she has for us next!
