I know nothing about the lifestyle, so I’m committed to learning the ropes—pun intended. When my best guy friend offers his help, I happily accept.

We start out easy, but exploring this new world is hard. The public play ends with me getting shocked in the local restaurant by the machinery, and our foray into restraints ends with Paxton in the emergency room.
We try a few other scenarios but they all end in disaster. Until I accidentally set my place on fire, and move in with Paxton. Now we’re sharing one bed, and forced to spend time alone together, perfecting our “scenes.”

OH.MY.GOODNESS! This is hands down my favorite Logan Chance read to date!!!
What I loved about the book:
1. I’m a huge sucker for best friends to lovers romances, especially if they met when they were kids. The connection feels more genuine, the chemistry is usually sizzling, and the characters feel free to 100% be themselves instead of hide things (except their feelings of course!). This book was no exception to what I love about the trope. Their chemistry was beyond good and I legitimately loved this couple!
2. It was hilarious. I won’t give any specifics away, but as Hartford and Paxton delve into the world of BDSM together, there are many MANY mishaps and complications. Along with this, their interactions together and how realistic they were as people were humorous to read as well. I laughed so hard reading this story that I had tears on my face.
3. It was sexy, sexy, sexy! I would expect nothing less from a Logan Chance book.
I love my men dominating and possessive in the bedroom, and Paxton was no slouch. I also loved how they were exploring a lot of things for the first time together. This was not the story of a super experienced man teaching an innocent, inexperienced woman about sex. This was exploration and trial and error (sometimes more error than not!), and I loved that so very much!
Above all, I appreciated how much of the book stressed BDSM needs a foundation of trust in order to work. SO TRUE and so often overlooked in stories in favor of just getting to the good stuff.
4. I loved both of the MCs, as well as many of the side characters.
I liked that Hartford wasn’t vapid or virginal, but rather realistically intelligent and experienced for an adult woman. I also LOVED how she shut down the “you’re not like the other girls” talk several times. Instant QUEEN status for that!
Paxton’s dirty mouth coupled with him only having eyes for Hartford was delicious and swoony. Add to this how supportive of her he was, his genuine rooting for her, and him being there for her at all times, showing that he would truly do ANYTHING for her, he was a total book boyfriend.
I want other Atwood family member books, a Millie book, a Nora and Robert book. I want ALL THE BOOKS!!! No pressure, Logan 😉
5. I love how seamlessly Chance brings in characters and locations from his other series. It is so fun to find these little Easter eggs and see how the larger Logan Chance world connects.
6. I’m a short chapter whore, and these were the perfect length.
What I wasn’t a fan of:
1. I have nothing.

Another phenomenal story 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Somethings a brewing, and you won't want to miss any of it. This was such a fun book to read. Talk about making me laugh. I loved how Paxton and Hartford worked through all the awkward moments. How the family gave Paxton such a hard time. The characters keep you wanting more from them. But when the heats turned up between them, watch out. It's hot, steamy, and your heart rate will pick up. Logan did an amazing job with this story. If I could give it more than five stars, I would. Bravo Logan on another amazing story.

We get the best of swoon worthy ,steamy,Rom Com that the incredibly talented Logan Chance is so well known for.
Paxton and Hartford (Hart) have been best friends for years since school age, Hartford has been summoned to do an article on B.D.S….M by her boss.
Problem is….. she knows nothing about this and when her bestie volunteers to help her out…,. Well here’s where you’ll be laughing hysterically one minute then the next needing to take an ice shower to cool off.
These two have been in denial all these years where everyone around them have seen their attraction all along , Paxton’s 4 brothers and himself will have you laughing so hard between their texts and conversations the banter is hysterical.
Fast forward after all the mishaps and experiments these two try and let’s just say WOW the heat turns up full blast.
Logan can really bring a story and the world he creates within, to life right before your eyes and on every page you read
I highly recommend you run out and “One Click” this.

Wow! I absolutely loved and adored this book. Amazing characters and wonderful plot. Very beautifully written and easy to read.
I loved Paxton and Hartford’s friendship. They are so close to each other and their friendship is precious. Hartford has a new assignment at work and she has no idea where to start. Paxton Atwood, her best friend offers his help. And so together they embark on munches and other funny stuff. A lot of accidents later and sparks fly. I absolutely loved their passion and chemistry. They were made for each other.
Overall I loved this book very much. If you’re looking for friends to lovers, romantic comedy then you’re going to love it.

When Hartford gets an assignment to write a BDSM story, there is only one person who's going to help her, her best friend Paxton. Every scene they do ends badly until the rules are chucked out the window. Can this friendship survive the test of romance and go about thier way once the article is over or will the two finally see what the whole town has seen since high school, that they were meant for each other?
This friends to lovers story is fantastic! I love the chemistry that Logan puts on paper between the characters. He truly is amazing with words.

Once again, Logan Chance has given us another amazing story! With captivating characters, this slow burn/Best Friends to Lovers romance will pull you in and not let go. When Hartford needs help with a BDSM article for the magazine she works for, who better to volunteer their help than her bestie Paxton. Right from the start this couple had chemistry, though neither wanted to act on it in fear of ruining their friendship, however that chemistry only became more explosive as their research continued. With lots of fun, banter and plenty of swoon worthy moments this has definitely become my new favourite couple. I cannot wait to see what Logan has for us next.

Who better to experiment with BDSM than your hot bestie? I loved that the experiences were real and showed that everything doesn't always go as expected and sometimes hilariously wrong. The chemistry between the main characters was great and the supporting characters were nice additions as well. Very enjoyable book

Paxton and Hartford are best friends. Hartford is a writer who gets the job of writing an article on BDSM and she enlists Paxton's assistance...with rules! Some lovely laugh out loud moments, great appearances by previous characters and getting to meet Paxton's family. There is also a lot of steamy scenes! I really enjoyed it and look forward to reading about the rest of the Atwood family.

I loved Paxton and Hartford’s story. Probably one of my favorite friends to lovers book. It gives you the cute hallmark movie vibes to hotter than Fifty Shades of Gray. It’s definitely a book I’ll read again.

This book has been fun. Hartford's journalistic work assignment necessitates a walk on what is, for her, the wild side, in the exploration of the world of BDSM. Enrolling her best friend Paxton as her support and experimental partner, they embark on a hilarious series of mishaps, mistakes, and enlightening scenes.
I enjoyed this read. It has been a funny, charming visit with close friends who really have been wearing blindfolds when it comes to their feelings. 💖💖💖💖

This book is going to get a hold of you, lure you in, whisper and dance with you, seduce you, make you laugh with the zany shenanigans that keep happening, not to mention the Atwood brothers' bantering, and if that's not enough, it will make you fall in love... hard.😍😍 Uh-huh! Like the secret dreams you hold in finding that special connection with your man or lady. Come on, we all have them.😝😝 And this book is just bubbling with secret desires between best friends that have known each other forever!!! Secret looks. Flirting. Exploring possibilities.❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 The heart wants what the heart wants.

Hartford Jamison and Pax Atwood, his family owns the local brewery, Atta Boy; have been friends FOREVER!!! Like elementary school forever!! Hartford is a reporter and her next topic is to explore the world of B D S M thanks to her editor. "Mr. Charleston says, “women who read Cobblestone Chronicles want adventure in their life. They want excitement. They want to explore their sexuality. We need to give that to them.”
Hartford turns to the only person she trusts to explore this lifestyle with her, Pax. But first Hart sets the rules that they both must follow. Can Pax do it? You will have to read it to see.
Pax and Hart visit Club Greed in Saint Pierce. Club Greed is the setting of the series Gods of Saint Pierce. I love how Logan intertwines his stories from one series to another!! You will get a glimpse of Ellis Atwood from Never Kiss a Stranger.
The tension is slow burn and the mishaps are hysterical!!! It is such a great beach read.

3.5 ⭐️. This was a fun and steamy read. Perfect if you’re in a book slump.

- strong and kind FMC who knows what she wants and a MMC strong enough to help her get it

This is story of Paxton and Hartley who have been best friends since kindergarten and their journey out of the mutual friend zone. He is part owner of a brewery, along with his 5 brothers and sister. She is a journalist who is tasked with working on an article about BDSM. Enter Pax, ever ready to help. They try all kinds of things, none of which go well, but they clearly have fun trying. Of course, there’s an incident that results in her home needing repairs and a one bed situation in his house, when he takes her in.
I loved how from the beginning he was possessive and there was never a question that he would let her be with anyone else or that he would look at anyone else. The same for her. These were two people clearly destined for each other. The Sex Club scenes were handled so well; you felt their intense chemistry without any of the ick that can sometimes come from scenes written within that environment (at least for me). They were solely focused on each other.
It was lighthearted but also had some good feels. The spice was spicing.
This trope isn’t my favorite bc I don’t love the inherent lack of communication , but this was done well w a fun take on how to break through that barrier. I also would have liked a little more small relationship moments outside of all the sex.
Read it! You’ll have fun. :)

Of course, there’s an incident that results in her home needing repairs and a one bed situation in his house, when he takes her in.
I loved how from the beginning he was possessive and there was never a question that he would let her be with anyone else or that he would look at anyone else. The same for her. These were two people clearly destined for each other. The Sex Club scenes were handled so well; you felt their intense chemistry without any of the ick that can sometimes come from scenes written within that environment (at least for me). They were solely focused on each other.
It was lighthearted but also had some good feels. The spice was spicing.
This trope isn’t my favorite bc I don’t love the inherent lack of communication , but this was done well w a fun take on how to break through that barrier. I also would have liked a little more small relationship moments outside of all the sex.

Get ready for Magnolia Ridge, a town where everybody knows everybody and the Atwood men. Logan Chance starts us with Paxton and boy does he have a story. We saw a glimpse of him with February and Harrison's story in Latte Be Desired and boy was that just a tease because we see a lot more of this sexy guy. Paxton is known to be friendly not much of a womanizer because he's found his woman. The thing is he is stuck in the friend zone and his family know it's time for him to get out. Seeing Hartford with him you can see how perfect and balanced they are with each other. Logan Chance brings them together in a way that is so out there yet seems fitting between them. Hartford has always been there in his life and he in hers yet both afraid of really taking the jump and see what else can happen. Once thing for sure it's going to take some work between them and boy the way they get in on is just hillarious in every way and giving up is not an option especially for Paxton. Not only do we see this town come to life but we see the whole Atwood family and can't wait to see how Logan Chance brings them all together for next one in the series.

Warm fuzzies to smoldering heat!
As I can always expect from Logan Chance, this best friends to lovers rom com is one that is easy to enjoy and absorb, and is a fun, refreshing read with just the right touches of comedy and spice.
Hartford (FMC) is a journalist who gets assigned to write a piece on BDSM. She decides with her best friend Paxton (MMC) that he will help her research by delving into the lifestyle together while maintaining their "just friends" status.
Hart and Pax have the most adorable best friend relationship.
The banter between them and their embarrassing mishaps are funny. The banter between the supporting characters, especially between Pax's brothers is raunchy but in a funny and entertaining way for sure. The story has an appealing "Friends" (the famous sit-com) vibe but with spice. And when sweet cutie-pie boy pal Pax gets his dirty talk on, it's perfectly hot-just right-not over the top...but on fire! So he flips from sweet to spicy in a flash and right when it counts. It makes Pax a great combo of affectionate and confidently demanding at all the right moments.
The HEA is satisfying.
I like to throw books like this one in my TBR between dark or much longer, heavily descriptive and more seriously emotionally charged, fantasy or tragic reads as a pick me up. Works like charm every time. This book will give you the warm fuzzies, but be careful not to catch fire when those warm fuzzies get pretty dang hot.

Oh My Gosh, I laughed til I cried while reading Don’t Fall for Your Best Friend to the point my husband kept asking me if I was ok. The author gave us a hilarious romance that I know this reader will be reading again and again, especially when I need a light hearted pick me up from our crazy world. Paxton and Hartford have been best friends since they were little kids. There is nothing they wouldn’t do for one another, so when Hartford’s boss gives her the task of writing an article about the world of BDSM, which she knows zippo about, she vents to Paxton. Who in turn offers to help her out. Hartford’s leary but after setting some ground rules, she finally agrees to his help. But my goodness neither one of them could have guessed the hilarious outcome of each experience they tried. OK, maybe it’s just hilarious to us readers and not the actual couple, but Lord have Mercy if it could go wrong, trust me it does, usually ending in total disaster. Who Knew???
Is it them or something else at work that they just don’t realize? I can’t recommend this hilarious RomCom enough. Grab it up asap. You won’t regret it.

I do wish we would’ve gotten more of the scenes in writing vs. Hart’s recap notes and more from the club, but I’m just greedy like that. 😂 I also wish there was a little more substance once secrets were revealed. The ending felt a little rushed.

First the good - I liked these characters and I was happy they finally figured out they had feelings for one another after basically being life long friends.
Next the bad - I have issues with books presenting BDSM as something that people go into without really understanding it or getting help from an experienced Dom or Domme. That's how people get hurt in real life and making it into something funny is honestly not safe.
Finally the ugly - I will never, ever understand people who have a long friendship not being able to trust that friend and sit down and have a conversation and say, "I've known you all my life, you are my very best friend, but I have deeper feelings for you and wanted to know if you feel the same way and you'd be open to exploring that with me. No matter what, you will always, always be my best friend." Seriously people use your damn words something we tell kids from age 2.
I will read the next book in this series because I am really curious about the Atwood family and would like to read more about them, but Paxton and Hartford's book was a bit of a miss for me.

When Hartford is given an assignment to write about BDSM, Paxton, her best friend, says he will help with the assignment. The perfect start to a new series by Logan Chance. I'm a sucker for friends-to-lovers romance and Don't Fall For Your Best Friend checked all the boxes for a must-read book. Paxtton and Hartford give us all the banter, laughs, swoon-worthy and steamy moments that will have you unable to put their story down.

You've had feelings for him since forever and now you get to do some kinky stuff that just might have you crossing that friendship line. The only thing is that he has the same feelings but never tells you. The disaster that happens every time you try something new has them and the reader in stitches. One night changes everything and the sparks that were there turned into a full-blown five-alarm fire and the rules go out the door. This is a new series that may be based on the Atwood family. First up, Paxton and Hartford. This story is laugh-out-loud funny; the banter and deep friendship between Pax and Hartford are very appealing.
Paxton Atwood and Hartford have been friends since school. Pax's always found her calm and friendly. Initially, he saw himself as her protector, but then he fell in love with her. He denied it because he did not want to ruin their friendship if she did not reciprocate the feelings.
Hartford has a new assignment from her boss: to write a story about BDSM. She is single, and Hartford enlists her best friend Pax's help.
Can spending even more time together and participating in the activities for her article cause their true feelings to finally emerge?
Don't Fall for Your Best Friend is my first full read from Logan Chance, and I found it well-written and fun.
