    I think every time I read a KL Savage book I fall deeper in love with the universe they created. Boomer is such a special character to me because I relate deeply to those dark thoughts in his head. I adore his relationship with Scarlett, who is so supportive of Boomer and makes sure those dark thoughts never take control of his mind. Scarlette is such a beautiful character who deserves all the love and happiness in the world. Her and Boomer’s relationship progressed so much and I love that we got to see more of their relationship from their POVs. The two of them shared so many adorable moments, like Boomer’s boyfriend’s goals. He was a dream to read about. This book brings lots of butterflies and swoon-worthy romances but like all of KL Savges’s books, the pages became blurry as my eyes filled with tears. It broke my heart during this book and I did not think I would survive it. It was gut-wrenching.

    Boomer might have to fight the demon in his head but he his a good president. The end of the stories broke my heart but i can’t wait for the next books.

    Boomer was definitely a favorite character along with Scarlett so its great to see a series starting in the Atlantic City chapter. This book is an intro to the start of this and introduces many new characters that I am excited to see develop in the future.

    The rise of the Atlantic City Ruthless Kings chapter. Boomer is now the new president, and he still has Scarlett by his side. This is about building trust with this new club and the city and some great ideas come out. Some people accept them and others don't. Trust needs to come from all sides. But new connections are made and new members are coming in. The skating party was awesome, a few surprise athletes in the mix! Throw in some man burping and you've got plenty of smiling moments. You've also got very sad moments as well. Total roller coaster of a ride for my emotions. I can't wait to find out more about Pulse.

    Boomer is my favourite of all the boys we’ve met so far in the Ruthless Kings series (okay, except for Tongue, Tongue is my favourite little deranged cutie), so I was so excited to see that we have another book with him! This was a great introduction to a new cast of characters--the Atlantic City MC. Like with the Las Vegas chapter, we get some hilarious road names that hint at interesting backstories, like Teeth and Void. I’m looking forward to their stories!
    We get to revisit Boomer and Juliet and their beautiful relationship, and this book isn’t without its heartbreak. All in all, this is a great first book in the spin-off series, even if it felt a little too short!

    Boomer's Rise is about just that...his rise from the ashes! Boomer's previous book was about his struggle with life and his demons, and this time around is him trying to overcome those things, with the help of the other half of his world Scarlett and his own brotherhood, he thought he never deserved, the Ruthless Kings Atlantic City chapter.
    K.L have outdone themselves yet again with a portrayal of a "phoenix" rising from the ashes, a man who thought he was incapable of love, incapable of life itself, but it just goes to show whoever you are,however hard it is, you can always rise from it, rise above it...you can do anything!
    This is an awesome start to the RKMC and I can't wait to get to know the other guys...this is definitely a tear-jerker, but yet another 5 star recommendation!

My emotions swung back and forth between laughing out loud, chortling and tears. The life and chapter they are building in Atlantic City is quickly becoming my favorite.
