Review of an arc of Bad Good Neighbor by Ker Dukey
Super short and packed with all the deliciousness that only instalust can give you.
Jameson gets shot and ends up in the ER where he meets the gorgeous doctor, Melanie Monroe. There was definite lust in the air, but nothing came from it.
Fast forward several months and Jameson has moved in next door. Melanie's annoyed by his constant partying and the two women he seems to have living with him. The nerve of him, destroying all of her fantasies. However, she shouldn't have judged him so harshly. Not only is Jameson the hot biker of all of our dreams, he just happens to be a really great guy.
A storm, a tree, a serial killer on the loose, and Melanie ends up staying with Jameson. I'm really hoping this isn't the end of their story because this really seemed like just the beginning.

So far I Have read one story. Love and liquor by Angel Devlin. It was unbelievably wonderful. What a great story about Dan a pub owner and Rosie his employee. Rosie cleans his pub before and after closing. So when they both find out about the Corona Virus they decided to lockdown together.

This opposites attract MM romance is hot and sweet! Oliver hides who he is, while Micah lives out loud. You’ll get just a taste of Micah and Oliver’s chemistry in this short story.
Oliver has a big secret and the only one to figure it out is Micah, his long time crush. It’s going to get HOT when these two are forced to share a dorm room during a college visit. The only problem is, Oliver is hiding who he really his.
Being this close to Micah, he eon’t be able to keep his secret much longer.
This is a story of learning to own who you are, so that you can love whoever you want. True happiness comes with acceptance and loving yourself. Oliver just may get his chance at love. I look forward to the complete story of Oliver and Micah because this just made me want it all.

ANGEL OF TEARS by LA Cotton
This novella was the main reason I wanted to read this anthology. It takes place before PRINCE OF HEARTS in LA Cotton's Verona Legacy series and follows Matteo, the sweeter mafioso. Matteo, Enzo, and Nicco are out of town collecting their debt from a strip club owner when Matteo hears a cry for help. In the darkness of the alley, he finds Caitlin who was ambushed while walking home from work. After chasing off her attacker, Matteo escorts her home where a storm keeps them stranded inside. As their attraction for each other grows, their walls come down...if only for one night. I loved this little sneak peek of Matteo and Cait's story, and I can't wait for more from them in SAVIOR OF REGRETS! 4 stars!

I decided to randomly read this novella after scrolling through the other works, and I'm so glad I did! This was a sweet M/M story about Micah and Oliver. Oliver has always admired Micah's confidence and his open sexuality from afar, while he has tried to deny his own attraction to Micah. However after they are both picked for a week-long tour of the University of Washington, Micah and Oliver are forced to share a room. As they enjoy a week of secluded bliss without the pressure of Oliver coming out, they both let their walls down, and Oliver is forced to confront his feelings for Micah. This was my first story by this author, and it was sexy and so full of hope and young love. 4.5 stars!

So this one i got and only read few authors since those are the ones I know of. If you wanna read all the stories go right ahead but my rating is for just those ones not the whole bundle.

But beside that Jameson meets Doctor/Nurse Melanie when he's brought in by his brother & club groupie because he was shot and is now sprung for this sassy nurse. But its months now and hes her neighbors few misunderstanding has Mel thinking he's a player and a two timer (which he is not) but with a killer on the loose and storm has these two getting closer.

No condom, cliffhanger?

No cheating, tiny drama(virus), sexy times, virgin gal and no manwhore

Review for Locking Him Down by Marley Valentine
This book was the perfect sweet, sexy pick-me up that I needed in these tough times.
I loved Oliver and Micah’s connection from the start, and I loved the contrast of how incredibly sweet they could be, and at the same time they could be incredibly hot together. These two just fit so well together, and I loved it.
This was a sweet, sexy and enjoyable read I couldn't put down. It's well-written and well paced. This is a fairly short story, but it packs a punch, with fantastic and likeable main characters who have the potential to have a wonderful love story. I really hope we get the complete story of these two characters in the future.

I'm reviewing My Hollywood Heart by Haley Jenner
Well this was a short quick read that I absolutely loved. It felt like you got a full story in this novella. It was a little hilarious, a little heartfelt, extremely hott, and will definitely give you all the feels. Arie and Blake had witty banter, some amazing chemistry and their steamy scenes downright explosive. This was an excellent addition to the Love in Lockdown anthology.
Well this was a short quick read that I absolutely loved. It felt like you got a full story in this novella. The story's about Archer and Hazel.
It's a super short story and I really enjoyed it. It's an arranged marriage and I liked that he wanted to marry her because he knew she's the one for him and that he loved her.
The last chapter's the epilogue. I want more.

Son historias cortas, cortiiiisimas.
Yo lo compre por Cora Reilly, así que hablaremos de su historia.
Esta incompleta, faltan páginas😭😭, pero bueno, trata de dos hermanastros (Stella y Mauro) que se tienen todas las ganas del mundo😉, pero debido a las reglas de la Familia/mafia, ninguno da el primer paso.
Bueno, todo comienza cuando los papás se van de viaje y dejan sola a Stella (que es la primogénita de la actual esposa del padre de Mauro) y él es obligado a cuidarla hasta que ellos vuelvan (no es que tengan miles de hombres a su disposición, nooo), todo bien por tres días, no hacen nada relevante más que mirarse con deseo desde lejos, pero cuando invasores que desconocemos (literalmente nunca aclararon quienes eran los que les querían matar) invaden su hogar, se refugian en un cuarto de seguridad donde ambos no hacen nada interesante (otra vez), más que tenerse ganas y evitarse. Aburridooooo. Esperen, no se supone que ella es hijastra de un Underboss? Donde demonios estaba la seguridad? Donde estaban los cuentos de hombres que deben de trabajar bajo el liderazgo del padre de Mauro?
Al final, después de muchos pensamientos que poco aportan, ella besa a Mauro luego de pedirle dormir en la misma cama porque tiene frío (si claro, el frio😏), él cede y pues avanzan a segunda base... Y eso es todo.. Fin.. Porque cuando ambos despiertan por la llegada de los hombres del papa de Mauro, es cuando acaba la historia.
WTF!
Faltan hojas, no se sabe nada al final, es como leer una historia incompleta y algo sosa.
PD. Esta es una reseña a la historia de Cora Reilly. (sólo 1 estrella para este decepcionante relato)
Pd2. Las otras historias tiene muchos errores de redacción, creo que un par de historias me agradaron de las 14 que hay. No es una lectura que aconseje, pero como es para apoyar en este período se crisis, bueeeeno, aunque eso no justifica que las historias sean tan malas 😫😕

Pd3. No se sabe el nombre de casi nadie y eso despersonaliza a los personajes y la historia carece de argumento, no hay nada a lo que aferrarse. Me siento triste. Mis $2.99 al agua. 🥺

“Angel of Tears” is a novella that precedes the “Verona Legacy” series and should be read before reading “Prince of Hearts”.
It's a dark bully college romance with the mafia trope.
Caitlin is a mysterious female character who thinks that because she comes from the wrong side of the track she is not good enough for Matteo.
Matteo is a male character who is completely different from his two cousins because his heart is good and full of love for family.
Caitlin and Matteo's chemistry is amazing and I hope their paths will cross again so they could get their happily ever after.
Highly recommended!!!

This just a taste of what Is to come. A spicy MC short that is part of the Love in Lockdown Anthology for charity. You know if it’s a Dukey book it’s gonna be a good one! Jameson is in a very troubling situation which is when he first meets Melanie Monroe. Who knew they would end up being neighbors! This also introduces us to Animal. His book is coming up in June as part of the Royal Bastards MC. All in all, I enjoyed this short MC story. Told in dual POV

My 5 star review is for Angel of Tears by la cotton! This is as a beautiful story and one I won’t forget! Matteo and Cait meet under dire circumstances but what starts off as a horrible nights turns out to be one they won’t ever forget!
If any of the other stories are like this, then this is a read that will definitely keep you company when you need it most!

Both were fun, steamy quick reads. AoT was a bit more emotional and the connection these two characters had was amazing. I hope they'll get their own book one day.

So I just finished Locke by Tracy Lorraine and man.. you’re letting your 19 year old son’s best friend stay at your house during the pandemic with your 18 year old daughter right next door. You’re letting them all drink beer during movie night and margaritas at dinner. Mom is also pushing daughter and friend together by helping him plan “date night” and hiding it all from Dad and brother. And in the end when the quarantine is lifted and everyone goes to college, parents let their daughter move into a HOUSE with boyfriend instead of dorming.. okay am I missing something here? do parents actually do this? my door wasn’t allowed to be shut whenever my boyfriend came over in high school. and no way in hell would my mom offer me a beer or a margarita with dinner, let alone allow me to date a guy temporarily living right next to my bedroom. i highly doubt my parents would be okay with me having sex under their roof, especially at 18. so honestly what the actual fuck was this??

Jamieson is protective, has humour and is definitely all alpha and I need to more of their story.
Fingers crossed we get that when Ker releases the first book in her ‘Royal Bastards MC’ series this June.

He saves his girl from an attack and the ‘Dark Angel’ he is swoops in to save the day and making sure she gets home safe and well. A heavy storm sees them spending a hot night together. Matteo and Caitlin were perfect, they had banter and could easily fall hard each other, but they only promised one night.
There is some mystery around Caitlin and I can’t wait to see how this story plays out in a future book.

I read Locking Him Down by Marley Valentine and loved it. It was kind of a coming of age/coming out story and I can't wait to see what else Valentine has in store for Micah and Oliver. They are so perfect together!

Five Stars for Everyone!
What a great anthology to read during this time in our world. Fourteen authors come together to create love during lockdown. I love anthologies because they always introduce me to new authors and even gives me a glimpse of when authors I’ve read before write new tropes!
Love in Lockdown has everything from arranged marriages, friends to lovers, MC, age gap/reverse age gap, second chance, mafia, and MM. There is something for everyone. Every author did a fantastic job at writing ten chapters or less and making it feel like a full length story. There were even two stories that sound like they will be continued and I hope so because they both ended on little cliffhangers and I need to know what’s going to happen.
This is worth the purchase, not only because these authors are supporting two charities, but because it truly is incredible writing all around. You’ll get lost in all these characters lives and see how they cope and come together in the most trying times. Not all stories have a plot of “Coronavirus” or something similar, there’s storms, and being locked in a room together. I loved how they were all unique.
I would recommend this anthology to anyone. Buy it. Support the charities and the authors. You won’t regret it.

Marley Valentine's "Locking Him Down" is wonderful New Adult romance, and THE highlight for me among so many great stories.
Oliver and Micah!!!!! FLOVE their origin story. Opposites attract finding new love and leaving the whole world open for possibilities. Marley Valentine has another HUGE hit in MM romance on her hands with "Locking Him Down"
"Our mouths move without an expiration date, languidly teasing and tasting, promising one another of all the good things left to come." That's top notch romance writing.
I hope these writers continue their stories or make them into larger standalones. So so good

I was told by an Author in this Anthology that these were full stories, well they are short stories but full they are not. With endings "The end for now", for the full story pre-order here", etc. So for now I'm turned off of these types of books.

Matteo is one of my favourites from the Verona Legacy so I’m really happy I got to see more of him! He’s such a great character, and here it’s proved that he has a heart of gold. He’s a gentleman and I just love everything about him. Him and Caitlin had this spark from the start so it was a cute short story to read, although I really secretly hope that we’ll get more of him, and that him and Caitlin cross paths again (in King of Souls).
I definitely RECOMMEND to read Prince of Hearts (Verona Legacy #1) about Nicco! It's a beautiful mafia romance. So if you like bad boys and forbidden love, give it a try! You can find my review here.

Locked up Hearts (GUNNAR) by Nina Levine was an intense sparks fly quick story. It has a HAE for now and one that has my dying for the full length novel..EEEK

Review for Good Bad Neighbour by Ker Dukey
This may have been a shorter read but it wasn't short of content that was for sure. I do love an MC story and this has the potential to be right up there in my favourites. With this being part of Love in Lockdown anthology, I do hope there is a continuation of Jameson and Melanie Monroe's story as I feel their journey was just the beginning and I would really love to read more of their story.
Jameson has been shot and we jump straight into the story as he's on his way to the hospital, which is where he meets Melanie Monroe. Jameson likes her immediately, I love that she is a strong character and is prepared to stand up to him regardless of who he and his friends are. Months later they come face to face again as Jameson is now Monroe's Bad Good Neighbour! He could be my Bad Good neighbour any day, there would be no complaints from me, that's for sure.
This a fast-paced read and full of everything I love from an MC book. I felt like I've been teased and I'm left wanting more, please tell me there is more!

With this being part of Love in Lockdown anthology, I do hope there is a continuation of Jameson and Melanie Monroe's story as I feel their journey was just the beginning and I would really love to read more of their story.
Jameson has been shot and we jump straight into the story as he's on his way to the hospital, which is where he meets Melanie Monroe. Jameson likes her immediately, I love that she is a strong character and is prepared to stand up to him regardless of who he and his friends are. Months later they come face to face again as Jameson is now Monroe's Bad Good Neighbour! He could be my Bad Good neighbour any day, there would be no complaints from me, that's for sure.
This a fast-paced read and full of everything I love from an MC book. I felt like I've been teased and I'm left wanting more, please tell me there is more!
