This was yet another roller coaster of emotions, thoughts and feelings. I can’t get enough of each member of the club!
Juniper Nyx is magic with her words because she portrays what it is like in a ruthless MC but also showing that they have depth, feelings and emotions—even if they are a bit unhinged and morally gray.
I loved book 1, still loved book 2 and am definitely looking forward to the next book and any after this because Juniper Nyx really knows how to enthrall you into the book.
The MMC grow emotionally as well as mentally(Addiction, Disability, etc.) and she also accurately shows that the characters are flawed and very morally gray yet, are still redeeming enough to cheer for them—no matter how gruff or a$$hole-ish they may be.
The FMC also is shown to expand mentally as well as mentally. They don’t allow their Disability(Addiction, etc.) to define them, they may struggle with whatever their Disability(Addiction, etc.) is but ultimately they manage to become better, stronger characters(MMC as well).
Don’t even get me started on the expansive world building and her wizardry with words to be able to explain the characters sight, scent, touch and the world around them.
Reading it all unfold for the characters is amazing and I can’t get enough of this Authors work! I look forward to whatever Juniper Nyx releases, she has a permanent reader for life!
