- Reviewed in Australia on 11 February 2020Verified PurchaseReally enjoyed this story, it sucked you in, and had you rooting for the characters. Can't wait to read the next book in the series.
- Reviewed in Australia on 11 February 2020Best friends Ethan Montgomery and Lincoln McClard stumble across runaway bride Holland Yeaton sitting on a park bench drinking a bottle of wine out of a paper bag in her wedding gown, and they befriend her. Holland is now on her own moving forward in life and she’s got two very sexy strangers turned friends who she can turn to. Ethan and Lincoln have been best friends since elementary school and they’ve loved each other for a long time but have never acted upon it. But with Holland everything just makes sense. They begin a love affair which is tangled, intense and complex, it’s also confusing at times. What they have is by no means traditional, but for them it makes perfect sense because she completes them.
- Reviewed in Australia on 18 February 2020I absolutely adored this book. I know that I'm always going to get a quality, enjoyable read whenever I start a Carrie Ann Ryan book but everything about this book I loved. The characters - individually they're relatable & 'real' but put the 3 of them together & I loved the quirkiness of the conversations. Each character complemented the others. The storyline was great & moved at just the right pace. There was drama, there was a twist that I wasn't expecting but most of all the emotions of the characters shined through. From start to finish - wonderful.
- Reviewed in Australia on 11 February 2020Every book that I read of Carrie Ann's I get caught up in their world and I just love it !!
Ethan and Lincoln have been best friends since middle school and when they have become adults they have had a crush on each other but they never acted on it.
Holland ran away from her wedding when she found her sister on her knees in front of her fiancée.
This is a spectacular book and can't wait for the rest of the Boulder Montgomeries.
I received a free copy of this book for an honest and voluntary review.
- Reviewed in Australia on 11 February 2020You know that saying two’s company, three’s a crowd well in Sated In Ink it is more like two doesn’t quite meet the mix but three is the absolute fix. A broken hearted bride sits on a park bench and along come two best friends, no this isn’t the opening to a joke but the start of possibly something quite amazing. As heartbreak, doubt, priorities and jilted lovers come into play Ethan, Lincoln and Holland will need to fight for their love. An emotional story that will take your heart on a roller coaster ride. A love story that will at times frustrate you with their actions but will ultimately have you enchanted by their love.
- Reviewed in Australia on 19 February 2020What a great read! A MMF - where all 3 are fully involved. This had lots of hot sexy scenes, but also the emotions & dialogue to really capture the story.
- Reviewed in Australia on 25 May 2022Verified PurchaseLoved this story of a threesome working out the kinks of having three in a relationship. Loved that two friends were hiding the love for each other in rather than spoil the friendship. Thought that Ethan was the quiet one, but he ended up being the rock. Heart was pounding when Ethan was attacked. But their love for each other was better together then when they were running away from each other.
Narration was awesome too.
- Reviewed in Australia on 9 September 2020Verified PurchaseCarrie Ann Ryan has always written about unconventional relationships. In this story, two friends, that we have come to know well from previous books in the series, find their forever.
Life long friends, Ethan Montgomery and Lincoln McClard, finally find a way to express their feelings for one another.
After they discover a distressed woman (Holland Yeaton) in a bridal gown, who has literally run from her wedding, they befriend her.
It all happens on a night playing drunken Mario Kart, where kisses turn to more.
Can they make a three-way relationship work?

4.0 out of 5 stars Ethan, Lincoln and Holland
Verified PurchaseEthan and Lincoln have been best friends since childhood and in love with each other for almost as long but never wanted to risk their friendship. When they meet Holland, a woman that’s just found out her fiancé has been cheating on her , she ran from her wedding. Holland was their missing piece, the person giving them the courage to finally move forward and reveal their true feelings for each other and her. Sweet, sexy, a little dramatic with HEA.

5.0 out of 5 stars What An Awesome Trio: Ethan, Lincoln and Holland...I Enjoyed this Sensual Menage..Sated In Ink
Verified PurchaseThis tale unfolds around Ethan Montgomery, his best friend Lincoln, and their shared girlfriend, Holland. Carrie's storytelling captivated me; it was sensual, thrilling, and deeply romantic for the trio, often referred to as a 'throuple.' Yet, to me, it simply represented love. They discovered love amongst themselves and made it flourish. The bond they formed was exhilarating. Holland was found on a park bench, donned in a wedding gown, having just discovered her sister and fiancé together moments before her own wedding. Ultimately, this heartbreak led to her serendipitous union with Ethan and Lincoln. Her mother, a harsh woman, expected Holland to forgive her sister's betrayal and celebrate her sister's new engagement to Holland's ex-fiancé. Then there's Damien, obsessed with the notion that Lincoln, a painter and artist, was his possession because as Lincoln's agent, he had propelled him to fame. The narrative beautifully explores the unconventional love of three individuals who, against all odds, find harmony together, with Holland as the pivotal force.
