Skirt, he’s a sexy kilt wearing Scotsman, a biker with a penchant for fighting. He may come across as being your typical rough and ready, playful bad boy but looks can be deceiving, underneath his gruff exterior lies a tortured soul that seeks redemption. That redemption comes when he least expects it, bringing a woman and all of her troubles into his life, landing right at his feet, but those troubles are more than worth it as Skirt realizes said woman, Dawn is the one, his soulmate. The feeling is mutual as Dawn falls for Skirt just as hard and fast, tragedy may have brought them together but there’s nothing that will tear them apart, not even a demon which haunts them both in different ways. Dawn was just what this hunky Scotsman needed, she matched him toe to toe not taking any of his nonsense and pushing him to his limits, but all for his own good.     This story stunned me stupid. That’s the best way I can say it. I’ve read this series from word one and I knew in my head that Skirt would probably / more than likely be very consuming on a much deeper level than just sexual, but I didn’t expect this. I cried a lot you guys! At the same time, this story held the same level of drama and action we are used to seeing from this series. I don’t want to focus too much on my emotional upheaval while reading this book because I’d have to give away some major plot points and I’m never about that LOL You’ll have to trust me when I tell you this one will sit in your heart for a while …

    Skirt delivered on everything I look for in a MC story. MC stories are never just about a HEA, sometimes you don’t even get one, they’re about the club. They’re about the brotherhood and sometimes sisterhood that drives them. It’s been a while since I’ve been this invested in a club and I am super happy that this author writes these stories very quickly! I am hooked on her style and voice. She is writing an exceptional deliciously dirty, gritty and emotional MC series.

    Between Skirt’s past and Dawn’s present there is a lot to process in this book and none of it is rushed or pushed away in the story. Both the club and Skirt & Dawn have a pretty intense ride throughout this book and the thrill begins with page one and continues thru until the end. If you’re a reader of MC romances, this is a great series for you to be reading. This last thing is probably unnecessary, but I’ll say it anyway … this is not a standalone ! Okay, that’s it. Go #oneclick!

    It has just enough of so many elements to give a round about experience—— without the shock to the system brutality some books are taking these days.

    Skirt by K. L. Savage is the fifth book in her Ruthless Kings Las Vegas Chapter MC series. I enjoyed this one very much. Skirt (aka Rohan) is a member of the Ruthless Kings who happens to be from Scotland. He’s called skirt because he wears kilts to honor his brother, a former fighter, who was killed after a fight when he was illegally hit by another fighter. Since his brother’s death, Skirt has been alone, that is until he meets Dawn. Dawn was beaten and cast out into the desert by her “boyfriend,” Cohen. The only reason Dawn wants to go back to Cohen is to get her son, but now she’s under the protection of Skirt and the Ruthless Kings.

    What I love about this series (which I’ve read out of order for some reason) is that the members of the Ruthless Kings are alphas, protectors, and they have heart. There is a lot of humor as well! Skirt is no different. While working to get her son back, Dawn falls in love with Skirt, and her forever is decided.

    Skirt is a book in which lives are changed, secrets are uncovered, and families are reunited. If you like the other books in the series, you’ll love this one. There are a few grammar/syntax errors which better editing would help, but nothing that takes away from the pleasure of reading. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Let's meet Skirt. Now Skirt seems more like the sane one out of the MC. But just like the previous guys we find out that Skirt has demons he is hiding. So we know that Skirt is from Scotland but has been living in the states for a while. What brought him here? Well that story is just as heart breaking. However, Skirt has an accident and ends up with cactus thorns on his tushy which is funny. Unfortunately, the cause was that he didn't want to hit the human that ran out in the road. When they see the state of the women, they are floored but skirt sees something under all the bruises. Lets meet Dawn. She is in a position she does not want to be in but she is doing it to keep her son alive. Now she is in the protection of the Ruthless Kings once they find out who is hurting her. This is pretty intense. And LAWD the sexiness that oozes off the pages is hot. It was like surprise and dang Dawn is lucky. Fate tied them together at one point but was not ready and now they are. I did cry at one point and my heart was put back together at the end. This is another great book in the series.

    Love the characters,love the story and the surprise. But as someone who has lived in Scotland for 48 years in have never heard anyone use "ye" if found it annoying and " boyo" is a Welsh expression not Scots .If Skirt had lived in the USA since a wee boy he would have lost his accent.
