Coming home for the holidays after eight long years to say goodbye, I found myself saying hello.
Melissa—or Missy as I remembered her—had had a crush on me. But being a typical eighteen-year-old, I didn’t pay much attention to the blushing twelve-year-old.
I walked away without so much as a backwards glance. But now? Now I can’t tear my eyes away.
Gone was the girl with braces and pigtails...in her place was a woman who took my breath away.
I just had to prove to her I wasn’t the same guy I was back then. I prayed for a Christmas miracle, but I never expected this.
Kristie Leigh is a fiery redhead and USA Today Bestselling Author who fell in love with small-town life long before she ever experienced it. Growing up, she dreamed of quiet streets, friendly neighbors, and the kind of close-knit community that feels like home. Now, she’s living that dream in a rural Alabama town with her high school sweetheart and their three kids.
Her passion for small-town romance comes alive in her stories, where back roads and burning hearts lead to love, second chances, and the kind of happily-ever-afters that stay with you long after the last page.
This was just the novella to get me in the holiday spirt! Sullivan had stayed away from home too long and his return, as well as the reason for it, became the catalyst for a new stage in his life. I loved Melissa’s dedication to the Moores. She was a selfless sweetheart with a huge heart and Sullivan was a great match for her.
The story was well written, featuring a humorous old woman who stole the scene a time or two with her hilarious quips, emotional moments that made my heart clench, and a spark that blossoms into more.
Can’t wait to see what Ms. Leigh has in store for us next!

Let It Snow fue bastante olvidable.
✨🎄✨Let it snow de Kristie Leigh✨🎄✨
A ella. A nosotros.✨🎄✨
Sullivan hasn't been home in years. But when his mother calls him to say his grandmother is dying, he knows he has to head back. He certainly had no idea the family friend, the girl who had a huge crush on him, is his grandmother's nurse. And when he sees Melissa (Missy), he's instantly taken with the gorgeous woman, never knowing she is the girl he had thought was so annoying. Will the snow that his Grandmother loves so much, and the holiday magic, work on his hardened heart and give him and Melissa a Christmas to remember?
This is definitely one of the sweetest holiday romances I've read this whole season. It's a slow burn kinda thing, which sounds strange considering it's a novella length story, but once the heat ignites, it's a tad spicy, perfect to take it out of its Hallmark category a tiny bit at the end. So if you want something to warm your holidays, give this one a try.

This is a sweet, slow-burning holiday romance worthy of a ‘Hallmark’ tag.
Let It Snow by Kristie Leigh was a delightful little holiday read. It was sweet and fun, and totally unGrinch-worthy. Work-a-holic Sullivan has been forced to return home to visit his dying Grandmother. While there he reconnects with a girl from his past. Melissa or Missy as he once knew her, is several years his junior and when he left home eight years before to attend college, she was only twelve. But she’d had a huge crush on him even then. She is still harboring those feelings but tries to keep them hidden. It doesn’t take Sullivan long to succumb to the spell of the holidays and start seeing Missy the way she is now. All woman. So, grab yourself a mug of hot chocolate and a seat by a cozy fire and lose yourself in the sweetest if Christmas tales.
3.5 Stars. *My review kept going between 3 & 3.5 stars. In the end, I decided 3.5 was fair for this book.
This book started out keeping my interest but at around the halfway point, I was confused. Let me explain...
Sullivan and Missy..... Sullivan is a successful, wealthy businessman who stayed away from his hometown deliberately for the past eight years. Longer actually. He mentioned that he had a wonderful family and great memories. He claimed, that after his father died, he couldn't face going home. He left his mother and grandmother for so long and only returned because of guilt. His grandmother was dying. From what I read, I couldn't justify Sullivan staying away for so long. I don't want to go into the details of the book but I will say I felt I was reading about two different people in the second half. Missy and Sullivan's personalities took on different persona which left me confused. They were both passive characters at first but changed before my eyes with no actual growth or development explained.
This book had a good premise and being staged around the Christmas holiday was the reason I wanted to read it. There was very little in the way of Christmas which added to my frustration. I can only say that this is my opinion and you may feel differently. This is a very short book and can be read in a couple of hours or less. In my opinion, if this book is rewritten, adding character development, more insight into the H/h, a slower pace to their relationship, with more details about the Christmas holiday, and less time-jumping, I think this book could be amazing. I've never read this author before so I'm not familiar with her writing. I think I will read more from her because her writing has potential. I should also mention that this book was released last year so the author's writing could have developed quite a bit since then.
This is my honest and unbiased review and I thank you for taking the time to read it.
I love quick holiday reads. This was a new to me author. It was a sweet reunion story. Sullivan is finally going back home after years of being away. He is back to see his grandmother who is sick and is reunited with a girl who had the biggest crush on him years ago. But now, she's all grown up and he can't stop thinking about her. Missy and Sullivan were around each other growing up, there is a 6 year difference between them, their parents were really close friends. But, growing up, when he sensed her crushing on him, he was very annoyed by it. Missy has grown up and has been taking care of Sullivan's grandmother for a few years and the boy she had a crush on is now back to visit his mother and his grandmother. Grab this quick, sweet holiday read. Family is important and Sullivan is realizing he stayed away for too long.
Looking for the perfect Christmas romance that will make you swoon, sigh, fall in love and melt your heart in a single swoop? Look no further than Let It Snow by Kristie Leigh!
Let It Snow is a second chance romance that has a lot of heart, sizzle and a sweet storyline that will warm you from the inside out. Its sexy and fun and pure entertainment. These characters are might fine too!
Sweet Christmas novella of Missy and Sullivan. Sullivan must return home after many years of being away to visit his ailing Grandmother. Missy is shocked to find her high school crush back in town after years away and tries to keep her crush a secret from Sullivan. But, this time Sullivan does see her and she’s all woman.
This book is so dang cute! I’m talking hallmark levels of Christmasy feel good here. Let It Snow would make even the grinch long for a hot cup of cocoa while sitting next to a Christmas tree. You’ve got one workaholic who genuinely has a good heart, one sweet caring woman, some family feel goods, a bit of tears, and a whole lot of swoon all wrapped up with a pretty little bow in this holiday read!
A great novella. Gives you all the feels. Story to capture you in from the first ro the last page. Enjoued it thoroughly. Great eork. Cant wait for the next one.

If like me you love the holiday session you can never wait for the hallmark Xmas movies to come on the TV - you snuggling up with your coco and get lost in the romance. 'Let it Snow' will give you that feeling! But don't worry there is plenty of heat between the sheets.
Samual hasn't been home since his father passed away feeling that there was nothing there for him anymore much to heartbreak of his mother and Grandmother Now a successful business man he spends the holiday session working but not his year a call from his mother on the first day of the holidays with some bad news sends him home to face his past.
Melissa had a crush on Sam growing up but with the 6 year difference he only ever saw her as an annoying little girl. But when they meet 8 years later Melissa isn't as annoying as she once was. Now his grandmothers nurse the two start to spend time together getting to know each other all over again. It is a difficult time for Sam as he has to face family emotional's he has buried for years.
Join Sam and Melissa in this heartwarming Christmas story!
Sullivan is a hard worker that treats his employees with the respect they deserve, and they respect him equally if not more and he makes sure his employees and their happiness come first. He hasn’t been back to his home to see his family in years and wasn’t planning on going back this year for Christmas either until his mother calls to let him know his grandmother isn’t doing good. Sullivan immediately heads out and rushes to his childhood home so he can at least say goodbye to his grandmother. While there he meets his grandmother’s in-home nurse Melissa, he just doesn’t remember she is the little kid that followed him around and adored him. Melissa has become part of the Moore family and helped take care of the grandmother and she still is crushing on Sullivan all these years later. This was emotional and full of ups and downs, but I loved how these two characters were there for each other while developing feelings. It was a fast paced read but that never took away from the cuteness and Hallmark like quality it had.
I received an arc in exchange for an honest review. This book has everything from loss, to second chances to love. I liked this book, but I felt the author rushed things a bit because it was a novella. Sullivan hasn’t been home for 8 years. His mom calls him with the news his grandmother isn’t doing well and he decides to go home for the holidays. When Sullivan gets home runs into an old family friend, but she’s not the same little girl he remembers, now she’s a woman. Melissa always had a crush on Sullivan growing up and now that he’s home and sees her as more than just the annoying girl she used to be can there be more between the two?
Like I said this was cute and reminded me of a hallmark movie with a little steam. If you are looking for a light holiday read this is the book for you.
This book was really emotionally for and I had to step away from it a couple of times. The Hero in our story hasn't been home for Christmas in 8 years not since his dad died. When his mom calls him to ask once again if he coming home for Christmas he tell her no and she tell him his Grandmothers dying and they don't think she'll make it past the Holiday. I don't want to give the whole book away its pulls on your heartstrings my grandmother passed away in August and her favorite holiday was Christmas and I have so many precious memories of her. This book just made me think of her and if she were here she would have loved this book as much as I did. Thank you Kristie Leigh for such an amazing story.
I really enjoyed Let It Snow, it was a quick holiday read that go me in the spirit of the holidays while also falling in love with a few characters along the way. Let It Snow is just about what you would expect and want from a Christmas novella, this is a great book to curl up with on a cold winter night and lose yourself for a few hours. Kristie Leigh brought on just the right amount of heat and chemistry to these characters, because Melissa and Sullivan have a history from way back in the day, so their instant connection felt natural and smoothed right into the story. I would recommend if you are looking for a quick holiday read to spend an evening reading! -Mackenzie
Sullivan hasn't been home for the holiday since his father died. His grandmother is seriously ill, and he misses her, and his mother, too. Melissa has no family. Her parents died in an accident, and Sullivan's mother and grandmother "adopt" her - she's Granny's nurse, and lives with them. She had a huge crush on Sullivan when they were younger, but he doesn't recognize her at first. This is a hot little story - I loved this romance. Sullivan and Melissa are on a slow burn once he realizes who she is, and it's a very nice journey to their happy ending.

This is the third book I read by Kristie Leigh and I thoroughly enjoyed it and will and would recommend it to any romance novel reader. This is a short, easy read about two people who were raised together after our heroines parents are killed in an automobile accident. At the times she is twelve years old and he is eighteen finding her annoying. Not so when they see each other again after eight years and his grandmother is dying and he comes home to say goodbye finding our heroine is now her nurse. That is all I will divulge of the story other than I feel Kristie Leigh has certainly evolved as a very good romance writer.
This was a great read that was very enjoyable. The story is really sweet and takes you away from your everyday reality. It moves along at a nice reading speed and transitions between scenes and characters nicely. The characters are very well written and you feel as though you know them personally and you want to see them happy and succeed no matter what may be preventing them. This is a enjoyable read that needs to be on your TBR list.
I really enjoyed this story. There is a lot going on, but it's worth the read. Sullivan has been away from home for 8 years. Missy (Melissa) runs into Sullivan at his mom's guest house. She feels her crush has been reignited, but doesn't want Sullivan to know. There is some angst, but not a lot. There are several tear-jerker moments in this book.
I recommend reading this book.

A sweet, slow-burn Hallmark worthy holiday romance! Sullivan hasn't been back in eight years to his hometown until he's called back to say his goodbyes to his grandmother. Melissa (Missy) is his best friend's little sister who had a crazy crush on him, whose now Grammys nurse. It's a quick read that's so so sweet.
