“An angel doesn't come in white wings and a halo, they come disguised as the person you need the most” Good Gracious Doc’s Story has literally left me speechless and an emotional mess to say the least. Doc’s Story is a dark and twisted one that will leave your emotions all over the place. Tissues, please. But Doc has a Darkside that no one realizes he has. He's running from something that he has been fighting since the day he saw his light at the end of the Tunnel. Can his darkness be tamed? Or will he walk away from it all to live a life less ordinary? Jo’s not your typical woman, her life has been full of deception, but once she was rescued by the Ruthless Kings, her life seemed to be on track, but help is what she needed most. Even in her darkness, there is a small flame that needs a little coaxing to become a bright Blaze to reach out into the dark and call him home. Can Jo fight her battle against her self-worth and be the person she needs to be to survive or will she cave and leave it all behind? I keep saying that K.L. Savage is doing more and more to keep me intrigued, and I for one was so not expecting this story, but it was well worth it. I want to give it more than 5 stars because it deserves it. I have been on this Ruthless Kings series since Reaper and they just keep getting better and better. I really can't wait for more of these Alpha Men and see what is next in store for them. K.L. Savage just can't get any better with this series.

    At least before the book came out, the authors warned us on Instagram to have the tissues ready. I thank them for that. What a powerful book. The anguish and torture and the sheer will to live and to die. If you have never lived with feeling worthless and wanting all your pain to end, you won't understand this book. It is a nitty gritty down and dirty book about the struggles of living day to day and not wanting to. The will not to live is so strong in this book and you can physically feel the anguish that Joanna feels day in and day out. Why bother, who will notice if your gone, your worthless. Words some of us can relate to. If this book doesn't knock you on your butt, nothing will. So so so powerful. Joanna and Doc soothe each others scars. Some people meet and fall in love and live happy together but then there are some couples who come together and they need and I mean need each other to breathe easier and be able to go on with life. This is Joanna and Doc. I love Doc's mom, Rachel, too. Wow!! If she doesn't prove what a mother's love will do for her own child. Awesome book.

    I am running the gamut with my emotions writing this review! First and foremost is the Fiery Rage I am feeling. Second I know how this ends but still, I cannot get over the Stormy Indifference I feel. Yes when all is said and done the Rage returns but with it a sense of calmness that I know will be end result. Yes you can rage and still be calm. I like to think that I can understand all that these characters have gone through and will go through in the future but it still can bring out the very worst while being the best thing to happen to me and them. Is this making sense? I really, really want to place my fury where it is due and believe me when I say it is past due for some of these characters. Well with that being said, I love how these authors know just what the reader needs and wants. It shows in their works and this series is that good. They know how to articulate these characters where the reader falls apart and then they put them back together again just differently and better. I lost my heart to this MC with Reapers book. my heart and soul have been totally wrought through with every emotion imaginable since! If you have not gotten this series yet YOU ARE MISSING one heck of a COLLABORATION! I swear this is one of the best series in this genre out in the universe! What a remarkable and joyous yet explosive and frenzied read! Once you start it you will NOT BE ABLE to LET IT GO! It is all consuming and will have combusting with a heat while it consumes you!

    You know so far everyone of these books is dark if you don’t like dark don’t read these story’s because they all deal with mental illness of one kind or other. These bikers aren’t normal. Doc has been abused and a child by his sick father. But his mother saved him. Now he has found a girl that he feels a connection to but she is troubled to. The Ruthless Kings rescue her in New Jersey from a charter that was doing bad thing under there colors. But the Las Vegas charter put a end to them. But jo just seem to not get a break. Now pregnant and see no way out she attempts suicide but Doc get to her in time this time but she’s still messed up. While at the hospital with her somebody shoots up the clubhouse now Doc is trying to save all his friends. Jo breaks out of the hospital and comes to help but she not much help with both arms stitch up but she still help even with damaging herself again. But the memory of her rape pushes her over again and she cuts herself again. So if you want to see if these two find a HEA you will have to enjoy the read!!

    I fell in love with Reaper!! I read it several times and will again. Doc was a surprising character. He went through horrific abuse with his dad. I won’t say more as I don’t want to give away any spoilers. He gets a call from Joanna and it takes off from there. I flew through the pages wanting to know what happens. The story broke my heart at times then put it back together. The writing just flows and kept me riveted. The Reapers are a family. Not your typical MC romance. This MC can be serious but characters at times, which I love. I fell in love with Doc and loved Joanna even though I wanted to shake some sense in her at times. But Doc and Joanna have some serious sparks between them. This had some mystery in it also and it surprised me. Just buy this book!! I bought all and preordered Tongue. K L Savage writes engrossing stories and the women are treated like Queens. I don’t need to read the blurb with K L Savage I just 1 click and preorder. I love this series. Enjoy! I know you will get all the Reaper series. The books are that good!

The books can be a little overwhelming when first reading. These men are very strong characters as are the women.     the characters. I love all the books. I found myself getting attached to the characters & what made them all

    Story could’ve been better but it wasn’t bad . I skimmed a lot of the talks each MC had with themselves in their heads because it literally took over the story . I skipped pirate seemed wayy to depressing but I may go back and give it a whirl. I wish the stories were about more than mental health awareness but I can’t deny it’s not an important topic .

    So we've met the characters before in previous books. Joanna was one of the girls rescued and she went off to college, the Kings set her all up because they thought that's what she wanted.
    But deep down she was struggling and didn't know how to ask for help.
    She stayed in contact with Eric there was always a spark between them but neither of them acted on how they felt.

    Joanna hit rock bottom and done the only thing she could think of-she hurt herself but phoned Eric to say she was Sorry.
    Eric freaked out and raced over to her apartment, a few of his brothers going with him in case he needed help & oh boy did he.

    While all #ell was breaking loose Eric's world was getting torn apart Big style.
    But without revealing to much always remember theres always a HEA even if it's eventually.

    I would warn that there are some disturbing moments that could definitely trigger for some people but for me personally it was worth the ride I loved it I can't wait to start Tongues book !

    Now I know I am reading as much of this authors work as I can get my hand on and yes, I'm reading them out of order. But I'm taking advantage of whatever I can get. I wasn't prepared for how..brutal in every meaning of the word this was. Eric and Jo had so much damage and baggage in their lives but they got light in each other and I adored their relationship. Also the other guys in this MC gave a little bit of light if not terrifying relief. I cannot wait to see what my next adventure with the Ruthless crew will be. Please check triggers though because this was HEAVY.
