    At a convention in Nashville Elle attends a Halloween party dressed as Cinderella. She meets a man and spends the night in his hotel room leaving before he is awake the next morning. No names were exchanged and masks were worn so identities were never disclosed. Elle returns to her B&B that belonged to her parents but now she works there like a slave for her step mother. Things are not going well for the B&B and she can’t figure out why. When her step brother arrives for Christmas she is shocked to see he is the mystery man from Nashville.

    I loved the way Elle and Channing began to fall in love in spite of her step mother’s protests. I also loved the ending when wicked step mother is put in her place. I enjoyed this and he three elderly ladies who strive to be matchmakers to every single in Mislletoe Creek.

    This is not a Disney retelling of Cinderella for sure! Breanna Lynn's version starts out with what was supposed to be a one night stand. And a hot one at that! Channing and Ella met at a masquerade ball and kept the masks in place throughout everything that night. Despite that Ella knew as soon as he showed up on her doorstep that her Prince Charming was actually Channing her stepbrother. Ella did her best to keep her identity from him but it was game on as soon as he realized she was his beloved Cinderella!

    I loved the chemistry and the forbidden aspect! Midnight in Mistletoe was a fun and easy read that I didn't want to put down! Now I'm even more excited to read the rest in the series! Ladies, you know how to make your target audience happy! Take our favorite childhood movies and make them spicy!

    If you are looking for a Hallmark holiday romance but with spice in the first chapter then look no more! Elle meets Channing at a conference Halloween masquerade ball and one thing leads to another and things get heated. The next morning she leaves before he wakes up and moves on with her life trying to keep her late parents inn going. One night with “Charming” will have to be enough for her. Channing can’t get “Cinderella” out of his head. He decides to visit his mom and sister for the holidays and to finally meet his stepsister. I’m sure you can guess where this story is going!

    I loved Elle and how strong she was and how determined she is to fight for her parents inn. Channing is a total sweetheart and is all in with Elle. These two had chemistry from the first chapter and I couldn’t wait for their happily ever after! If you are wanting a quick, sweet, and steamy holiday romance then this book is perfect!

    The cast of characters is right on the mark. The storyline checks all the right boxes. The writing is clear and uses the English language correctly. So, why not more stars? Ella is pretty dumb. She flies home from college when her father dies to the stepmother and step sister, who hate her. Does she go to the reading of the will? Um, no. Does the long time family lawyer get in touch with her. Um, no. Does she ever look at the will? That would also be no. So she needs to get "rescued" by Charming, because she can't take care of her self. Very sad.

After reading Midnight in Mistletoe, a sexy take on Cinderella, a favorite classic fairy tale, I can’t wait to read the other books in the series. Elle goes to a Hospitality Conference, where she meets Prince Charming at the conference’s masked ball. After sparks that sizzle and turn into a smoking one-night stand, the masked Elle leaves him in a panic to return home to her family’s B &B, The Glass Slipper. Elle runs the family B & B after her father dies, even though she has a stepmother and stepsister who could help but refuse to do so. Elle’s status changed from a beloved daughter of the inn owner to merely hired help to run the B & B, constantly catering to the whims of her stepmother and stepsister. It is quite a surprise for Elle to finally meet her stepbrother Channing, who is visiting for the Christmas holiday. Channing is no other than her Charming from the Halloween masked ball one night stand from the Hospitality Conference. Will Channing recognize Elle from the ball? What will happen to The Glass Slipper B & B since reservations are down and it’s hard to make ends meet? Will Elle and Channing fall in love? Are they already besotted with each other?
