About the author

Crazy woman from an undisclosed location in Alaska (where the need for a creative mind is a necessity!), I have been writing since ... forever? Yeah, that sounds about right. I have been told that I remind people of Lucille Ball - I also see shades of Jennifer Saunders, and Denis Leary. So basically, I laugh a lot, I'm clumsy a lot, and I say the F-word A LOT.
I like dogs more than I like most people, and I don't trust anyone who doesn't drink. No, I do not live in an igloo, and no, the sun does not set for six months out of the year, there's your Alaska lesson for the day. I have mermaid hair - both a curse and a blessing - and most of the time I talk so fast, even I can't understand me.
Yeah. I think that about sums me up.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 September 2016Neighbors was a story about boring baker, Katya Tocci, breaking out of her good girl mode and finally finding not just one, but two, guys to help her discover her naughty side.
“She might be vanilla a good deal of the time, but there were other times when she wanted to be rainbow sherbet. With sprinkles on top.”
One woman. Two guys.
“Angel cake, you are perfection – you just need someone to show you.”
Liam, current neighbour. Silly, goofy, adorable, gorgeous Liam who pushes Katya out of her comfort zone, taking her to his sex club, getting her enrolled in a strip-aerobics class, eating tacos with her, and generally becoming one of her best friends. He’s a great listener, he’s sexy and charming, and makes her happy. The sex is pretty amazing, too.
“You look at me like you really see me. Like…I’m Christmas morning.”
Wulfric, old childhood neighbour. Boorish, arrogant, blunt, stunningly gorgeous, and hardly ever smiles. He’s her teenage crush. His manner should turn her off but she’s unbelievably drawn to him. He’s rude, intense, demanding, and dominant. He’s hard to read and closed off. The sex is pretty amazing, too.
“You make me expand. You open my eyes and widen my boundaries. He makes me contract. My eyes only see him and he’s my only boundary. You’re both just so…different.”
Both guys know about the other, as Katya has been upfront about it. Both make her happy. Both test the boundaries of new, adventurous Katya. However, deep down, old Katya still lurks and is increasingly uncomfortable with her situation. She’s ready to commit to one of them.
This was a brilliant, super sexy read, pretty angsty, often funny, and I loved the twists and turns of this story. Yeah, I pretty much guessed the plot before I even got halfway, but I was on tenterhooks for how the story would play out, and was kind of gutted that the story ends on something of a cliffhanger. Cannot wait for the next book. Gaaaah!!!

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 October 2016OK - what just happened here. A simple enough idea for a story that had a massive impact on me. I loved it, loved all the characters, OK maybe Liam a tinsy bit more than Wulfric and Katya but this was thought out so well, written so well and toyed with your mind and was frustrating as hell but was powerful indeed.
Katya - I loved this lady. Strong but lacking confidence with the opposite sex, is a master baker and designs wedding cakes for a living and is really good at the job she trained to do and in great demand. Bought up in a loving family - if not a little conservative, a good girl.
Tori - Katya's room mate and best friend decide's one evening to sent up a profile on Katya on a dating website - but raunch it up a bit first, give her friend the edge, make her sound sexy.
Liam see's the website and recognises her as his neighbour, and he's so tempted to take her out of her comfort zone, to teach her new tricks and decides to do just that. Then she meets an old friend that used to live next door to her when she was growing up - Wolfric ( I hate that name) and before you know it she is juggling two men, both so different, both demanding different things from her but she takes it all and more. Once a vanilla sort of girl, Katya is upping the stakes and even suprising herself and the men who take from her.
Of course in the background there is something bubbling and the rippling effects are being felt, nothing good can come of this - right ?
This book keeps you guessing right until the end, and lets just say there HAS to be more, I WANT more. I NEED to know what is going to happen next. A fabulous book that had me glued to the pages right until that very last word, I wanted to be Katya and let loose, I wanted those two men the way she did, and I can't wait for the next book to find out where these characters go next - awesome !!!!!!!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 September 2016I was completely disconnected from this book. I'm not sure I can pinpoint why I was unable to engage other than disliking all the characters but it wasn't for me. 2.5 stars
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 April 2018This is my second Stylo Fantome book and it was right up my street! I would rate it 4.5 stars is there were a couple of niggles, but great nonetheless.
Katya is a hard-worker and when she realises her life is 'all work and no play' she turns to a dating site, where her racy profile gets the attention of someone who lives in her apartment block. Her and Liam get off to a sizzling start with mind-blowing sex and they have a real chemistry, which would suggest that their relationship is going to develop. However, at the same time, she bumps into an ex-neighbour Wulfric from her childhood and he asks her on a date.
This is where Katya's life gets pretty complicated. She finds herself caught up in a love triangle, although all parties are well aware of the facts and nothing is hidden. She is effectively dating two men who know the score and are not fazed.
Wulf is a mean and moody character and her attraction to him is electric. Liam on the other hand is fun and easy-going and they have an light-hearted relationship.
As I raced towards the end of the book, I knew something was going to give. I thought that Katya was going to have to pick one guy and I was intrigued as who it would be when BOOM the cliffhanger happened!!
I didn't see the twist coming and had to get straight on to Amazon for book 2!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 November 2017Do not know where to start with this review....first - I am so frustrated with these characters, Liam sounded like the one and I did feel sorry for him in parts then I started rooting for Wulfric, bad move. I had read some reviews and could not wait for this twist at the end that would blow me away!! Disappointed is an understatement. I will read book 2 The Neighbourhood but only because I have already purchased it and hope it redeems what could be a good story

5.0 out of 5 stars Welcome to the 'hood
I've read a few of this authors books & she doesn't disappoint. What we have here is a love triangle & maybe some cheating. (But it was only casual.) Katya was everyone's ideal h however at times her indecision frustrated me. So who will she choose? Liam the sex club & blg owner, the fun to be with guy or the demanding, uptight Wulf who causes her tingles?
Well you're in for a shock & one hell of a twist as the story continues into the next book. Sorry to disappoint but you've been warned!
If you enjoy this I would suggest reading the set in one go.

5.0 out of 5 stars 5 Neighbors Stars!!!! Addictive. Consuming. Intoxicating. A must read!!
Sexy. Titillating. Erotic. Sensual. Utterly Addicting. These are a few words to describe Stylo Fantome’s newest release, Neighbors. Seriously, this book was just utter perfection and intoxicating. With her stunning and visceral prose, Stylo Fantome will capture your hearts and mind as she decandently and sinfully lures reader to be entranced with Katya Tocci and her newfound sexual awakening as not just one man vie for her heart, body, and mind but two gorgeous men.
“She knew she was somewhat ... vanilla. She'd grown up in the suburbs, with a normal family, and a normal life. Went to a boring school, had mostly boring friends. Katya didn't mind boring. Boring was ... secure. Boring paid the rent. Yeah, but boring doesn't get you laid.”
Katya Tocci is a beautiful, smart, and independent woman. She has a successful career as one of the top patisserie of San Francisco. As in demand pastry chef, her career was stellar but her love and sex life are non-existent. It could be partly due to the fact that Katya lives a boring life. Boring plain Jane clothes and boring predictable men. So when Katya’s roommate forces her to join an online dating site, Katya’s profile was boring so her best friend/roommate decides to spicen and liven up her online dating profile.
Go out with a man she'd just met, check. Have sex in a club, check. Experience dirty talk, definite check. She finally did cry out, unable to hold it in as a tremor ripped through her body, threatening to tear her apart.”
Liam Edenhoff happens to be browsing on the online dating site and he happens to be stumble across his neighbor, Katya Tocci’s profile. He was immediately intrigued that his innocent neighbor stated in her profile that she was adventurous in the sex department. When Liam saw that, he immediately approached Katya and he knew right away that everything on the site was a lie. Upset that Liam thought she was boring, Katya challenged Liam and agreed to go with him on a date to the sex club that he owns. Well, as it turns out that date to the sex club awakened a bold Katya who was willing to have sex in public. As it turns out, Liam let loose a new Katya who was willing to be open and not so boring. As the good neighbor that Liam was, he soon formed a meaningful friendship with Katya that happens to have casual uninhibited sex.
As Katya says goodbye to her boring sex life, she runs into another neighbor. Well, her childhood neighbor from her hometown that she had a big crush on. Wulfric Stone is a successful, prominent, and domineering man. As a self-made millionaire and entrepreneur, Wulfric doesn’t need to beg as he demands your attention. And so when Wulf asked Katya to dinner, Katya knew that she wanted Wulf. She wanted him the moment he laid eyes on her. As Katya gives into her sexual desires and lust to Wulf, she begins to fall for Wulf hard. Everything about this man consumes her. She wanted him but Wulf’s closed off heart made her want to break and shatter through his hard exterior. When Katya thought she broke into his hard exterior and learns the reason of why he is closed off, she thought she finally won the heart of Wulf but only to learn that he can’t let her in.
“Katya shook her head. “No buts. The things he brings out in me are different. It's like ... you make me expand. You open my eyes and widen my boundaries. He makes me contract. My eyes only see him and he's my only boundary. You're both just so ... different. Completely different, in what you do for me, and how you make me feel.”
Katya’s once boring life is now filled with color. Two men vying for her attention. Will Katya choose the man whom she is comfortable with? Or will she choose the man that makes her heart go crazy? Lust or Love? So which neighbor will be knocking his way into her heart?
AHHHH that ending!!!! Stylo Fantome you are an evil genius because I NEED to know what happens next. Who does she choose? I will be completely honest with you, I thought Liam was the one who had my heart then of course Stylo had to write Wulf in such a way that I found myself gravitating towards him. And then Stylo had to drop the biggest bombshell ever. I wanted to hate both men and then I wanted to love both of them. I will be completely honest with you I have a favorite and I am rooting for this hero to win.
“I want you to look at me in that way you do – like I'm everything ,” he said in a simple voice. “I want to see that look every single day. When I wake up, when I go to sleep, all the time. I want to be the only man that gets to touch you, hold you, kiss you. I want you to know ... know that I look at you the same way. Like you're everything. You're everything to me.”
I will say it one more time, Neighbors was a phenomenal read. This book is not your conventional love triangle. This book was just more than romance, sex, lust, and passion. This book was about rediscovering your identity and finding strength. And Stylo Fantome did a remarkable job highlighting the transformation of Katay Tocci. She allowed readers to no longer see Katya as a wallflower but instead as someone who is finding her voice. Her identity. Her own splash of color. So if you are looking for a bold romance that was brilliant, unique, scintillating, and intoxicating then I highly urge you to read this addictive read.

4.0 out of 5 stars Twisty Triangular Tale leading to intriguing Cliffhanger
"Neighbors" is a pinball machine of sexual and emotional magnetism leaving you reeling and Stylo Fantome flings you headlong tilt against the ground in it's mind-frack ending. Thank God I ran and checked that there was a (Book #1) after the title because I would have sent my e-reader sailing against the farthest wall if it hadn't been a cliffhanger. I'm going to be upfront, I am not a big fan of love triangles. In fact I avoid them like the plague and I suppose I didn't read the blurb carefully and missed that part in the description. Invariably the Heroine always picks the guy I wouldn't. But I girded my loins and carried on. The Heroine is Katya Tocci, who is a baker who has suffered a relatively recent break-up. Her roommate convinced her to give online dating a try and while working on her profile she realized how boring she is - how boring her last relationship was, her wardrobe is, her life as well. After she uploads her profile she heads to work not realizing that she didn't log out of the program and her roommate has decided to "spice up" her virtual life a little. One of the people who sees her new and improved profile is Liam (Eden) Edenhoff, lets call him Hero #1, who happens to live in the twin apartment building next to hers. He's seen her, noticed her, but never figured her to be what her profile says because of her "Schoolmarm" clothing choices. Although Katya knows Liam has hit the nail on the head she pretends that looks are deceiving and she is adventurous more than her wardrobe suggests. He informs her that he owns a club - a sex club and invites/dares her to go with him that very night. Not wanting Liam to win she agrees and she goes questioning her choices every step of the way. Despite her nerves she meets every "challenge" Liam tosses her and in fact has him doing some things he wasn't prepared to do. Needless to say Katya wakes up in Liam's apartment with a block of time unaccounted for but finds she doesn't regret the evening. She learns from her roommate, Tori, that Liam actually got a hold of Katya's phone during one of the many drunk texts and provided his name, address, and phone number proving he's not a bad guy. The next day while at work she is faced by a blast from her past. Wulfric Stone her childhood next door neighbor who doesn't seem to recognize her. Also known as Hero #2. He is basically a condescending jerk who speaks to her curtly like an domineering emotionless robot. Imagine her surprise when just as the door closes on their way out his assistant rushes back in with Wulfric's business card and instructions for Katya to meet him at a certain time at a the restaurant written on the card. Katya is torn as to whether or not she should meet Wulfric right after her wild night of sex with Liam. Tori points out some compelling reasons why Katya should keep the date with Wulfric. When Katya arrives Wulfric basically insults and belittles her and has Katya on her feet to leave. However there is something about Wulfric that makes her follow his dictate to stay - as obnoxious as he is. Despite the fact that he's an ass she has a good time. But in the light of day she decides she doesn't want to see, or date, either man again. Until the next time they contact her. The back and forth of the men seems to bother her more than it does them, since she let them know of the others existence, but she finds herself drawn to one more than the other even though her mind is telling her that the other one is the better choice. But in the end a horrible truth comes out that changes everything - especially Katya herself.
I'm not going to say which "Team" I'm on but I'll just say I like my Heroes talking dirty. "Neighbors" had lots of OMG moments, Fun moments, and WTActualF moments. Katya starts out as insecure but very quickly becomes adventurous and fearless. By the time she encounters Wulfric she is prepared to not be anyone's doormat. However, she continuously beats herself up for dating/having sex with two men at the same point in time. Stylo Fantome gives Katya a fantastic roommate, in Tori, who keeps her grounded and enables her to Carpe that Diem. Although I'm not sure if Tori's going to have a larger presence in the sequel and what that role may be - past and future. I'm kind of suspicious of her. I do hope that "Neighbors" is a cliffhanger and that the next book in the Twin Estates series gives me closure or else my hair stylist is going to have to work with a head of hair that has portions yanked out.
