Unintended: A Sin Series Standalone Novel (The Sin Trilogy Book 5) Kindle Edition
Captor becomes lover…
I’m a marksman. Mobster. Deadly assassin.
My job is to protect my brotherhood, but that isn’t my only responsibility.
I’m Kieran Hendry, the up-and-coming leader of The Order, and a new duty calls. I must take a wife.
A wife I don’t know.
A wife born into a position at the top of The Fellowship hierarchy.
A wife who will forge a strong alliance between her brotherhood and mine.
A wife I don’t want.
I knew next to nothing about Westlyn Breckenridge when I abducted her, but I quickly discover that she’s intelligent, strong, defiant, selfless. And beautiful.
One night with her is all it takes for me to see that she is no typical Mafia princess. I’m hopeful this arranged marriage won’t be the miserable union I imagined it to be. But convincing my intended to give us a chance won’t be easy when she sees me as the enemy. The brute who kidnapped her. The vile fiend who threatened to do as he wished with her body.
It’s true. I am all those things. I had cruel intentions. But everything has changed. My affection for her is unexpected. My love, unintended.
Unintended is a STANDALONE novel but is best enjoyed after reading The Sin Trilogy: A Necessary Sin, The Next Sin, One Last Sin.
Each Sin Series Standalone Novel features a different couple met in The Sin Trilogy.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 October 2017I read this in 1 day as it could not put it down. Westland and Kierans story. I thought he was going to be an as whole and the way he first acted I wanted to punch him. As the study progresses it is beautiful to see the love they feel for one another. My only wish was that it lasted longer.

Unintended is told in Dual POV and there is NO cliffhanger. The timeframe of this story overlaps Endurance (4th book). So after reading Endurance you get all of your questions about Westlyn answered in this book.
Kieran and Westlyn have an unconventional start to their relationship thats for sure!! But reading the development of their relationship was wonderful. Their connection was undeniable and I loved going on this journey with them. Georgia never disappoints when it comes to this world. I loved every alpha male she writes and I’m so looking forward to Leith and Lorna's story and Mitch and Shaw's. That book is going to be so much fun to read! I cannot wait!
"She is my other half. My better half. And that is why I will never let her go. I was her kidnapper. I may have taken her as my captive, but she’s the one who captured my heart"
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 September 2018Westlyn and Kieran are a funny bunch to have s romance story enemies to lovers. I liked how kieran changes and shows his soft side without losing his potty mouth or lying and helps westlyn fall in love with him.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 October 2017Love the sin series and missed the clan. Georgia has done it again with this spin off series. She brings you amazing alpha males and strong females with beautiful love stories. I cant wait for more.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 October 2017It took me longer than I thought it would to get into this book. I loved the previous 4 and was expecting to jump straight into loving this one as well. Kieran was a definite alpha, very strong and forceful and Westlyn a strong independent woman in her own way. I loved this story, but I couldn't get past the rape threat! Granted it didn't happen but the threat of rape was very drastic for me. You have these strong sundicate men taking over the order. Trying to make it into a better organisation yet they are willing to follow the right of passage of the orders old ways by raping women when they see fit. This book lost me here. I spent the whole of the previous 4 books loving how even though it was a very male dominated society the fellowship wouldn't harm women and children from the order and they would condemn the order for doing this to their women. Yet in this book I was expected to except it as part of the natural way, and that the fellowship thinking Westlyn had been raped would just hand her over and gladly sign a treaty with the order. I struggled to bond with this book and even though I loved the storyline and the characters the idea that to rape a woman is the standard within the order was a struggle for me and the fat it was so readily excepted by the fellowship and even by westlyn was difficult for me. She had grown up watching girls raped and mutilated by these men. Blu even went so far as to train these women self defence so they could protect themselves from the abuses of the order. Then all of a sudden a kidnapping, rape and beating is a way of finding a wife. I mean come on pick a lane. The first 4 books set the rape of women up as being disgusting and abhorrent now because he's a good looking man we should be expected to except it.
I wish I could take the rape threat out of the book and forget it didn't happen. Then I would definitely say 5/5 but I can't unsee this unfortunately. Such a shame because what a magnificent set of stories so far.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 November 2017I really did like reading Westlyn and Kieran story. The order have they own way of doing things. To kidnap people and get away with it because it's what you do is beyond me. Another one of Georgia's books that I give my full support.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another Must Read by Georgia Cates!
i loved Westlyn and Kieran's story, "Unintended" the next instalment in Georgia Cates Sin series. Georgia, please finish Lorna and Leith's story "Redemption" as soon as you can. I have read all your books and I am never disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved......
This was the story I really wanted & waited for & I was not disappointed. We were teased mightily by what was going on behind the scenes with these 2 in the last book, but never told & this fills in all the blanks. Thank you!
I loved both leads. I love the family building of the Fellowship & Order. This book might not be for everyone, the equivalent of the Italian Mafia basically is the only way I can explain how these ruthless families interact and operate.
But, this was pretty romantic for a couple caught up in all of it. Watching them fall in love was spectacular. There’s a bit of Insta in it, but Westlyn our h is no pushover. She’s known the rules & her fate for a long time. Kieran on the other hand surprised me. I loved the way he loved her. It was swoon worthy for the situation.
This whole series has been pretty great but I’m all on board for this couple. They’re my new favorite couple. I guess Lorna and Leith are next....but I really want to read Shaw and Mitch’s story! I’m totally enamored by him, lol. Great supporting characters, well written, high steam. Recommend.

4.0 out of 5 stars 4 "You're mine and I'm yours" stars
I fell in love with the Beauty series and knew Georgia Cates was an author I needed to watch. I needed her books. As I read more from her, each time I was reminded of how right I was. And of how right I still am because Unintended was such a sweet story.
Kieran was next in line to lead his brothers. He was only missing one thing... a wife. In their life, marriage is arranged—to obtain peace, to procure assets, to benefit both parties. A treaty with the Fellowship would be ideal and so he has his choice of three potential brides: Ellison, who's in love and loved by Jamie; Evanna, who's in love and loved by Craig; and Westlyn, who seems to be the enigma of the three.
Wanting a pure wife, he decides that Westlyn is the woman for him—too bad she doesn't know it. When he abducts her, also takes her friend Ellison, and shoots her brother, these two aren't off to a great start. I thought for sure this was going to be some kind of enemies-to-lovers type of story. But oh no. Kieran is quickly brought to his senses and proceeds to woo his chaste wife-to-be and it was charming, alluring, and very sexy. I know that I wouldn't have been able to resist him, so Westlyn didn't stand a chance!
I know, I know. I should not be swooning after the whole 'property' speech. But... I really couldn't help it. There was just something about Kieran's misogyny that worked for me in an ironic way. Especially because he did value Westlyn's contributions. He didn't belittle, dismiss or condemn her for speaking her mind. Actually, he loved it. And he had so many good bits. Or maybe I'm making excuses. Who cares, he's hot and fictional!!
I enjoyed Kieran's violence on behalf of The Order, his bond with his family, Westlyn's interactions with her own family, and everything in between. They were great together. So yeah, this book worked really well for me.

4.0 out of 5 stars I fell in love with the world, the people, the danger.
I devoured the entire Sin series in three days. I fell in love with the world, with the people, with the danger. It’s a superb series, and I enjoyed every second I spent reading it. Unintended is the fifth book in the series and can be read as a standalone, should you choose. I highly suggest reading the entire series, however, as it will give you a better understanding of the world in which Westlyn and Kieran reside.
After reading Endurance and the first couple of chapters of Unintended, I was pretty sure Kieran would NEVER be able to win me over. I was deeply mistaken. The man was kind and caring and everything that Westlyn needed. Kieran portrayed a hard exterior, but it was quickly apparent it was a persona he’d explicitly honed for dealing with situations that were outside of his own wants needs. Underneath all that badassery, he was a loving, considerate person and it was that side of him had won both Westlyn and me over.
Westlyn surprised me in this book. I had a precise idea of who she was, based on how the other people in her life saw her, but she was so much more than I expected. She wasn’t the demure wallflower I had assumed. She was strong, fiercely loyal, and fearless. The girl rivaled some of the strongest female characters I’ve read, and I admired her for knowing her worth and never letting anyone give her any less than she deserved. I found myself constantly in awe of how wonderful a person Westlyn was when she had such horrendous people for parents.
The circumstances under which Kieran and Westlyn started their relationship were far less than ideal, but I felt like the acute situation they found themselves in was paramount for them figuring out what they both wanted and, frankly, needed in their lives. Watching what had happened between Westlyn and Kieran through other people eyes in Endurance was far different than what they were actually experiencing. It was a very tricky thing Georgia Cates did in giving us that perspective of them before we knew anything that was truly going on with them. I appreciated the misdirection and how it served to demonstrate that things are rarely what they appear to be from the outside.
The only wish I have for Unintended is that there would have been more. There was a time lapse of a few months near the end of the book that I would have loved to have seen on page. I feel like seeing how both Kieran and Westlyn recovered during that time would have been incredibly special.
Georgia Cates has crafted a fascinating and dynamic world in the Sin series. I love the intricacies of Scottish mafia she has developed and how each brotherhood has its own traditions and practices. There are several characters we’ve met already that I hope to hear more from; Leith and Lorna are at the top of that list, of course, but I’d also like to see Mitch and Shaw’s story, and I’m highly intrigued by the leaf Thane and Isobel seem to have turned in their relationship. I’m sure I could continue reading new books in this series for a long time to come.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must read from the Sin Series
I really enjoy the Sin Series. If you haven't read them all, make it a priority on your reading list. I can't wait for the next book.
