    This is my first.book of kristie and I really enjoyed it.
    The reading flowed easily and the story had a lot of bite to keep bringing me back and want more.
    For the sad.situation in the book it kinda kept the light breezy feeling about it which I quite liked kinda like some good sides to a bad one if that makes sense.
    I can't wait.for more of Hunter and Jules story in book 2 because she's completely wrecked him in this one now I'm seeking to heal my heart with the next book.

    Wrecked by Her is book 1 in the Like a Hurricane duet and is the debut for author Kristie Leigh. I enjoyed getting to know Jules and Hunter and there story could have been off the charts but for me it just came up a little short. Jules grated on my nerve a bit, she come across as a little selfish and didn't really spare a thought about Hunter's feelings at times.

    Hunter has been in love with Jules forever and that didn't change when she left him eight years ago. Now she's back with a very adorable little boy and Hunter is hoping this could be their second chance but will Jules feel the same?

    Not a bad read overall and I look forward to reading the second part of Jules and Hunters story.

    If I hadn't been told I wouldn't know this was a debut novel it was that good. I was sucked in from the beginning till the end, then disappointed that I was at the end. It broke my heart in places and also had me thinking wth. But it was a fantastic story and I can't wait to read the next one.

    The book has a really irritating heroine. Which is probably why this book ends on a cliffhanger to make you get the next one in the series for the happy ending. To be honest, if I had realised it was a 2 parter I wouldn't have bothered.

    Although this book was well written I found the character of Jules to be too self absorbed and selfish to really relate to her character. Hunter was well developed  as a character, his love for Jules was very real. One felt for the way she disregarded his feelings time and again. He stayed, he waited for her to need him and show him that she cared but she was so wrapped up in herself that she seemed oblivious to the hurt she caused to those around her.
    Instead of dealing with her feelings she deflected them so much that I got whiplash. Part of me wanted Hunter to walk away saying you know what I'm done. Eight years is a long time to hold onto a dream that isn't being recognised or reciprocated.
    3.5 stars.

    This is one heck of a debut novel. She captured everything from fantastic characters to a storyline that had me never wanting it to end. Between the tears and laughs I enjoyed every minute of this story and cannot wait for the next book. This is definitely going to be part of a fantastic duet that everyone needs to read. Especially if you love emotional, second chance romances and wondering will they or won’t they.

    This freaking book!

    Oh I loved it so much, I love a book that can make me cry and boy did I cry. This author wrote a book with so many feels and emotions. I literally couldn’t put this book down. Hunter is so swoon worthy and does every possible for Jules I mean this guy would move the moon for her if he could.

    I highly recommend this book I loved it so much.

    The best way I can describe how I felt reading this book is that though the story moved along, I felt like I was standing still. Everytime there was progress in the story, the feelings Jules and Hunter had stilled the slow. I kept mind screaming “just say something already!” Nothing is less sexy than a sexy but insecure character. Not gonna lie though, still curious to see how the story stands.

    I won't lie. I never grew to like Jules in this book, but I also recognize that in order for her to have room to grow in book two, she has to have a place to grow from. Hunter, however, stole my heart from the word go. Patient, kind, loving, and loyal--what more could a girl ask for? Well, if she's Jules, a lot, but hopefully she'll get her sh!t together in book two. Thankfully, Hunter is reason enough turn every page. If you like second-chance, friends-lovers, and/or single parent, you'll want to click now. And then sit back and hate life for the next two weeks like the rest of us, waiting on book two.
