Chemistry pulls them together. Falling in love might tear them apart.

Hope Hays, a divorced mother of two, has finally tested the waters in the dating world. But her first excruciating attempt at flirting combusts—the failed experiment even more humiliating as it is witnessed by a handsome stranger.

Political advisor Jordan Delaney swam with D.C. sharks until he bled. Now licking his wounds in his hometown, he is reluctantly intrigued by the quirky redhead chatting up a bartender with obscure chemistry facts.

In this small-town meetings are unavoidable and Jordan finds Hope’s awkward sincerity refreshing after the poker faces of politics. He falls for her the more he knows her, fearing she’d like him less if she knew him more. Hope falls for the man who makes her feel seen even though she’s certain someone like him would never want a single mother’s unglamorous life.

Their undeniable chemistry is an inflammable combination, but her scars and a secret from his past threaten to burn them both down.

You Didn't Know Me Then is the second book set in the small town of Riviera View, it was a very charming read with a gorgeous writing and well developped characters.

Hope Hays has dicorced from few years but she thinks now it's time to start going out again and meet a nice man. She soon understands she isn't cut out to the flirting game, but she unexpectly has captured Jordan Delaney attention with her entertaining words vomit.

Hope is a friend of the heroine of You Didn't Love Me Then and Jordan is the brother of the hero, so I've already met them and they seemed two good characters but reading their own story made me like them even more.

Hope is a very sweet woman and a great mom. Jordan is a good man, he only had to remember how to live among common people and not cutthroat politicians and to begin to trust people more. They have had very different experience in life, she always lived in a small town, she is a teacher and a mom and he worked in Washington DC as a political advisor. Their differences made their relationship intriguing, it was a pleasure to discover how well-matched they were. They unexpectly share a good connection and chemistry that kept me glued to my reader.

This book is a must read for all who enjoy small town romance.

The Chemistry of Love

Jordan and Hope’s story is realistic and heartwarming. Life is complicated, love is complicated, so many factors and variables, and Ms. Baines identified each repelling force then fused them together into a happily ever after. An excellent read.

Jordan Delaney, disillusioned with his life as a political advisor in D.C., returns home to reassess and put distance between himself and potential political scandal. Hope is a divorced mom juggling life and trying to find a balance between work, raising two girls and having a personal life in a small town. Their story explores what can happen when two people with opposite lifestyles have undeniable chemistry. “You Didn’t Know Me Then” is my first read of author Lily Baines, but it won’t be my last! I highly recommend this romance If you enjoy stories with medium steam and more mature characters that have life experience.

I received and ARC from the author and this is my unbiased review.

Romance: Slow-burn, contemporary and small town romance, with single mother and opposites attract trope

Chemistry: 🔥🔥🔥

OW/OM drama: No, not really... "You didn't know me then!"...

Love triangle: No

Cheating: No

Well written, crafted and complex story and a beautiful romance as well. Talk about opposites attract! Loved the development especially of the main characters Hope and Jordan, the fiercely loyal and supportive bond between the three women Hope, Libby and Roni. I really enjoy Lily’s books, they seem to be getting better and better - I think this is the best I’ve read to date.
I received this book as an arc and this review is entirely voluntary.

A sweet, steamy small-town romance about second chances and opposites

RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5
STEAM: 🔥🔥

This was an incredibly sweet book that had me swooning.

Hope Hays is just socially awkward, especially when it comes to talking with men. She rambles and leans into her favorite subject -- chemistry -- when she finds herself in one-on-one conversations with the opposite sex. She is mortified when her tendency to insert her foot into her mouth happened at a wedding reception with the local bartender. Even worse, it was witnessed by Jordan Delaney.

Jordan is seeking refuge at Riviera View until a potential scandal blows over in DC where he works as a political advisor. He hasn't quite disclosed the true reason he's back in his hometown, using his sister's wedding as an excuse for an extended vacation. What he did not count on is meeting and being drawn to the quirky chemistry teacher and her two young daughters.

The book started a little slow, but trust me: keep going and it will be worth it. Jordan is incredibly dreamy, not just in looks but in the way he engages with Hope and her kids. Despite being opposite in personalities, their contrast complements each other.

As someone who grew up feeling out of place, I related the most to Hannah, Hope's nine-year-old, and I adored how Jordan helped her feel at ease with who she is.

Their chemistry is undeniable. Even at the bar as Hope rambles on, there is a tiny sizzle that just grows as they continue to interact with each other. That slow burn eventually ignites into a super-hot fire in the bedroom.

** I am voluntarily reviewing an advance copy of this book. Thank you to Lily Baines and Give Me Books Promotions for providing an ARC.**

Oh my gosh, Lily Baines your beautiful words and wonderful storytelling pulled at each and every one of my heart strings.
'You Didn't Know Me Then' is a single parent romance story that stole my heart, had me utterly captivated and left me no other choice but to devour every word in one sitting.

Single mother and chemistry teacher Hope is impossible not to love. I know absolutely adored her.
She is sweet, beautiful, honest, strong, a little vulnerable and occasionally suffers from verbal diarrhea which is endearing and at times hilarious.
Political advisor Jordan has returned to his hometown to hide out from a personal situation that is unfolding in Washington D.C. Oh boy my heart ached for the uber handsome and sweet Jordan. As he dealt with all his problems I could feel his remorse, his struggles and all of his pain as I read each word. I rooted so hard for him and prayed that all would get resolved and he could finally get a HEA and love he truly deserved.
The undeniable connection between these two was so real and sweet. You could almost say them meeting at this point in their lives was kismet. They are two souls who meet at a time when deep down they need each other the most.
I absolutely love a heartwarming romance story but throw in some beautiful and quirky kids and I am utterly sold. Hope's daughters Hannah and Naomi added something so fun, real, hilarious and truly heartwarming to this story. I adored them so much and their growing relationship with Jordan... Swoon!!!!
Well I have no idea how or why but this was my first Lily Baines story and after reading this gem it definitely won't be my last. This journey had my laughing, I crying, I swooning and finishing with a warmed heart and a big cheesy smile.

Loved and Highly Recommend!

You Didn't Know Me Then by Lily Baines is set in the small town of Riviera View, and focuses on awkward chemistry teacher Hope Hays and political advisor Jordan Delaney. While Hope grew up in Minnesota, she came to Riviera View in California when she got married to raise her children here. Though she's now divorced, Hope enjoys the small town life and the friends she's made here. Jordan Delaney grew up in Riviera View, though left for Washington D.C. to make his mark in the world. After a scandal, he's come back to town to find himself, to remind himself that there is still warmth and comfort and camaraderie in the world instead of the cut throat and merciless realm of politics. One reason why he's so attracted to Hope is that she's so real, unencumbered by the feeling of having to put on a front and hiding for everyone. She's awkward but kind hearted, down to earth, knows her priorities, and after years of being with a man who underappreciated and put her down, she wants a man who accepts and loves all of her. This was a sweet story of two people who are at the right place to pursue more in life, definitely don't play any games, and are honest with their feelings. They've lived separate lives but are ready to come together for this new season. There was a bit of angst in here, but I'm glad, GLAD!, that both Hope and Jordan realized their value towards each other. The scenes between Jordan and Hannah were absolutely precious, and gives a glimpse into how warm Jordan is after so much coldness in DC. His reflection of his actions and the trajectory of his life when the scandal hit really shows his integrity and how mature he is when he realizes that he NEEDED to make changes before it's too late. This was really a sweet story, that takes you from awkward meet cute to sweet family touches, to passionate nights and honest talks that leads to a much deserved HEA.

What a wonderful heartwarming story. This was only my second book that I have read by this author and I have to say I’m hooked. Lily Baines has a wonderful talent of bringing this chemically explosive story to life. As a reader, I couldn’t help but feel like I was living a part in this story located in the quaint small town, Riviera View.

This is a story of friendship, love, loss and Hope. Hope Hayes is a single mom of two daughters, an elementary school chemistry teacher that has been away from the dating seen for over ten years. She thinks she is finally ready to give it a go. After her first unsuccessful excruciating attempt to flirt, she was completely embarrassed to realize that a hot as hell man, witnessed her pathetic attempt and was laughing at her. Finding out later, that he was not going to be someone she could avoid, he was her best friend’s future brother in law.
Jordan Delaney was a hot shot political advisor from D.C. that came back to his hometown for his sister’s wedding and to rejuvenate from the cut-throat political world. He couldn’t help but focus his attention on this chatty redhead spewing off chemical reactions, but in fact thought she was a breath of fresh air.
When the two meet, the chemistry is undeniable but could their two worlds collide to create a perfect submersion or are they just fated to repel each other because their lives are worlds apart? Oh the feels to this story are epic, Lily will succeed at crushing your heart but will so nicely piece it back together again. You will want to read this awesome story! I do, however, highly suggest that you read the first book in this series (You didn’t love me then) prior to reading this book. There is so much backstory that will make you enjoy this story so much more! Happy Reading!

Lily Baines, you really know how to squeeze a reader’s heart! It’s charming, and lovely, it made me sniffle, (ok maybe I cried..ok I did cry) and it completely swept me off my feet. Who knew chemicals were so damn romantic?!

Hope is a chemistry teacher and single mother, who rambles, and is ready to date. She is beautiful thorough and through, so genuine, vulnerable, and strong. I feel like she can be me, she can be you, or your friend, your sister, and so on. Jordan is the handsome, built, political advisor who returns home. He ran away from something, but a good man like him, truly feels remorseful, and he too is so deserving of love.

It’s real and funny! Its easy to fall for, and has a couple who are inevitable. They may feel worlds apart but nothing can stop their attraction. It’s about a good woman who is deserving of a good man and a good man who is ready for more. Because more, is a family, is love, and a messy house! It is going to fill your heart up!

You ever read a book at a certain time in your life that just felt needed? That’s how I feel. Lily Baines wrote a story for those who want to be seen and understood. About needing that 1 person to cheer us on. It doesn’t matter how many are in the crowd, that 1 specific person can make all the difference. And that’s Jordan to Hope and more ;)

The love scenes were beautiful:
“I prefer the light off,”
“And i prefer to see you.”

She tried to muffle the sounds that emanated from her, but Jordan growled without taking his eyes off her, “No, I want to see you and hear you. Let me hear you come.”

It’s like the book gave me a much needed hug!

This was an enjoyable read! I liked the obvious attraction between Hope and Jordan right off the bat and how they were both trying so hard to fight it. Their minds were like, "No, I can't. We're not meant to be together." And all those thoughts just melt down when they are together. I could feel the magnetism between them by all the stolen glances and whatnots.

I liked the characters well-enough but most especially Jordan because he was just amazing. He cares for Hope and her daughters so bad that my heart just melts whenever he interacts with the kids. He's just really awesome and a genuinely good man. He sees Hope for who she is and loves her fully with his heart.

I liked Hope too. She was intelligent and has a tendency to ramble when she's nervous which I totally understand. She had her fair share of hardships in life so despite irking me a bit, I could understand the way she dealt with the conflict at the end and how scared she had gotten. I love that she drives Jordan into a stuttering mess too when he's supposed to be the best at talking. Lol.

This book made my heart ache at certain parts. The angst was there, but not really that heavy. All in all, I enjoyed reading this book.

Hope Hays and Jordan Delaney.
Hope is a divorcée, science teacher that’s just going through the motions. Jordan is a political advisor in DC who’s trying to lay low after something worth of a scandal happened in the country’s capital, so he decides to go back home for a while.
Hope is trying to get back in the dating game after two years of being divorced, so saying that her flirting is awkward and funny is an understatement 😅 it doesn’t help that Jordan is there to see it all and Hope really feels bad.
What starts as an awkward attempt of flirting, ends up being a beautiful love story between two souls that we’re looking for a new “home”.
I love, love, love this book! So much! I love how Hope is so into science that when she gets nervous she just starts talking about chemical reactions and what not 😅 Jordan on the other hand is well articulated and tries really hard not to fall for the beautiful red her and her two adorable girls but not even a strong man like himself stand a chance against the power of true love.
It doesn’t matter what happens, and why he’s hiding in their little town of Riviera View, they are meant to be together and will find their way to forever.

This book is just...wow...ten times wow. My eyes were sore because I was reading for a long time, but I couldn´t put it dowm. The book deserves more than 5 stars. I was so involved in this story that I felt like living in Riviera View. Hope is a teacher, divorced, mother of two, struggling with an ex-husband that is always judging and remembering her that she is not enough. Jordan is a political advisor that after years living in Washington came back to Riviera for his sister´s wedding and for the first time he was feeling homesick. What they have in commom? Chemistry. We all have our demons, but Jordan pushed Hope out of her nest and she had to spread her wings and fly. The book is funny, witty, easy to read, romantic. I could read it twice, three times and I would love extra chapters because I didn´t want the story to end. I truly recommend. From the bottom of my heart, I love Lily Baines´ books.

"You Didn't Know me Then" was an awesome read. Only Lily Baines could bring together a high-powered political consultant bachelor from the D. C. area and a divorced science teacher who lives with her two young precocious daughters in an idyllic seaside town on the central coast in California and make the plot delightful with a few bumps here and there. The protagonists, Hope and Jordan, were made for each other and were believable and interesting. I especially liked their witty banter. Kudos to the author for including information about spherification in cocktails! This was one of those feel-good narratives that I enjoyed reading.

I can't say enough about how much I adore Lily Baines and her mature characters. She just has this way of writing that is so true and down to earth. Usually a slow-burn author, her Hope and Jordan were on fire! Wow, just wow.

But then came the slow burn as reality struck.

Unlike Baines' former characters, Hope is a single mother who has to think about her kids first. I felt for her so much. She was silly with her verbal diarrhea, but also so endearing with her insecurities, wanting a real love, and dealing with impossible in-laws and ex-husband.

Jordan ... Oh man, what do I say about him? This guy goes through a lot and keeps it to himself. You can't help but fall for him and his tortured soul. Not to mention he is incredibly hot! *fanning myself*

Must read!

WOW Just WOW.
I have been waiting to read Hope’s story since the wedding scene in You Didn’t Love Me Then and Lily did not disappoint.
I loved that both the storyline and the characters were very relatable. These were mature adults and there were children and ex’s involved. Jordan and Hope each had their own set of problems and insecurities but their friends and family kept them in the same orbit which made for some interesting chemistry between them. I loved how they were able to overcome some pretty intense obstacles to find their HEA.
Don’t miss You Didn’t Know Me Then or the first book You Didn’t Love Me Then. You will be thoroughly entertained and transported to Riviera View where you will meet a great group of friends.
I received a copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

I love Hope. I love Jordan. I loathe Avery. Like seriously loathe.
Hope is an amazing single mom who was beaten down mentally by her ex husband (also not a fan of him ). Jordan starts to build Hope back. I won’t say too much on that because I’m not going to spoil it, but we all need someone like Jordan in our corner. I feel like every woman can relate to Hope’s adventures of getting back into the dating world. And I love when a character is real world relatable! The end of the book was like an emotional rollercoaster. I was sad and happy and back again. I got to the last chapter and was so sad to see this book end. I want more.

Hope and Jordan!

Great story! 4.5⭐️

This story is a sophisticated and wonderfully crafted romance that will leave you with all the feels. Hope and Jordan are both hardened and jaded by the world in different ways. Their age lends to a maturity in the story that’s so very real and relatable.

‘He brought his hands up to cup her face, fingers drowning in her hair as they moved in synch, slowly, savoringly.’

Their chemistry is that delectable kind of sensual yet explosive connection that’s complete perfection. Plus, Jordan is totally swoony under his tough exterior.

This was my first book by Lily Baines and it did not disappoint! Definitely looking forward to what comes next!

This was a beautiful read that brings the feels. Hope's daughters just captured my heart right off the bat especially Hannah. Hope was an awesome character. I loved her socially awkwardness. To me that just made her endearing. I loved the way Jordan treats Hope's little girls. That really warmed my heart. This book had a lot of emotions and feels. It takes you on a rollercoaster ride. I loved how much Hope finds her self confidence and blooms beautifully when someone accepts her and her girls unconditionally. This was a great story that I would recommend!

Thank you @lilybainesauthor for letting me beta read your book! It was a book lover’s experience I’ll never forget!

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (0-5 scale)
Steam: 🔥🔥🔥 (0-5 scale)

What I’m starry-eyed over:
🤩 I’m in the book acknowledgements. Of course, that’s the first bullet. 🤓
🤩 3rd person dual POV—don’t you love knowing your MCs inside and out?! 😍
🤩 Combination of a clever storyline and All The Feels (my top three are humor, desire, & love) that give you that must binge-read, just one more chapter, type of experience.
🤩 Funny meet-cute—if you’ve read You Didn’t Love Me Then, you’ve had a taste of it. But no worries if you haven’t—you can go back and read Libby & Luke’s story later or go binge it right now for maximum enjoyment.
🤩 Opposites attract—Jordan is a political advisor well known in D.C. and Hope is a quirky, sweet single-mom & science teacher.
🤩 Small-town interactions.
🤩 Friend group so amazing you’ll wish you were part of it.
🤩 Other loving and cute side characters.
🤩 The mean girl gets put in her place, more than once. Jordan totally gets book boyfriend status for his part in this. Hope—wonder woman! I love them both!
🤩 Not only is Jordan good with Hope, he’s also so good with/for her daughters—talk about pull at my heartstrings.😢 🥲
🤩 I’m so glad moms are forgetful sometimes and leave small paper bags in other people’s cars. 😂 I was so excited! 😜
🤩 The physical and emotional chemistry between Hope & Jordan is 🥵!

What I’m Wishing/Dizzy About:
💫 Nothing at all!! I might just go reread a couple of specific 🥵 chapters one more time . . .
💫 Do we get more in the Riviera View series?! Roni is already happily married. We don’t like Avery, so she’s out. Hope did seem to be reaching out to Ann a little bit.

Hope and Jordan feel very real—not like romance stock characters. Hope talks too much when she’s nervous and the more aware of it she becomes the less she’s able to stop herself. Jordan is stoic but not grumpy. Situations in the story are realistically complicated: Hope is a single mom with an ex-husband who’s involved but also not present and ex-inlaws who are helpful, but also more interested in their son than their grandkids.

I appreciate that Jordan is aware that part of his attraction to Hope is that she’s so different from the people he’s spent twenty plus years dealing with in politics, but it’s not really because she’s different, it’s because he’s changed. And while Hope is afraid she can’t measure up to his glamorous DC life, that’s a life he wants to get away from. He values her because of his past experiences in a way he probably wouldn’t have been able to as a younger man.

I also like that Hope dates other people during the book. She doesn’t go from ex-husband to next husband without at least dipping her toe in the dating pool first.

I didn’t love the way Hope initially reacted to the thing that breaks them up near the end. I did think her ultimate reasoning for why it won’t work was good, but I’m not sure the other part was necessary (sorry if this is vague—trying not to spoil anything with too many details).

The main reason this isn’t a five star book for me is the editing. It’s great as far as typos, grammar, and punctuation goes. But there are number of odd word usages that were really distracting. They would throw me out of the story and I’d end up looking up the word to see if it was just me. For example, the word “mellowed” is used to describe Hope’s knees when Jordan smiled at her. But this isn’t the right usage of the word because mellowed means to become softer as in more mature, like wines, or more full-flavored as in ripened fruit.

Overall, though, this is a really good story. The side characters are well drawn, too—it made me want to go back and read the first book in the series. And I loved Hope’s daughters. Baines made them come to life, too.

If you’re looking for a small-town romance, with great characters and some spice, I definitely recommend this one.

Ahhhhh just read this one!

I loved the first book in this series, even though it contained a trope I usually despise, so when I saw this while looking for someone to read, I decided to give it a try. And it did not disappoint!

These characters are wonderfully flawed, yet not so much that didn't learn and grow throughout the book. They have their moments, but they also talk things out and have a great understanding of each other.

The MMC has already begun his growth when the books starts, as a recent mistake causes him to take a long look at himself, and not like what he sees. The book begins with him taking a break back in his hometown.

I adored the FMC. She's extremely intelligent, completely awkward, and words just spill out of her the more flustered she gets. And the MMC just GETS her. I absolutely love that he's so good with words, and is very highly sought after in his career because of it, but she makes him flustered enough to lose his words around her too. And they're so sweet with each other!

The drinks he made to show her he was listening?!!!! Swoooooon. One of quite a few swoon worthy moments.

If single parent romances are your thing, this is a great one because the children are present, and aren't just part of the background. Important conversations pause for them at times, and both MCs are shown bonding with them and keeping them as their priorities.

There were a few things I disliked, mainly the way that the MMC was consistently just nice to the OW who kept trying to date him instead of straight up telling her he wasn't interested. It didn't end up causing drama like it could have, but it annoys me thinking of anyone else in their future being given the same leeway in the name of him being "nice" or "gentle", and then possibly causing issues, because these were very real characters to me (kudos to the author).

Anyway, my jaded heart is on an emotional high after this one, and that should tell you everything you need to know about whether or not to give this one a try.

Hope was sitting on a barstool at the wedding of her best friend's boyfriend's sister and trying unsuccessfully to flirt with the bartender. A single mother of two daughters wasn't good at flirting before her marriage and she couldn't seem to stop the word vomit coming out of her mouth as she tried to give the bartender a chemistry lesson in mixing drinks.

Jordan was a political advisor who was home for his sister's wedding. It couldn't have come at a more convenient time as he needed to get out of D.C. and a prospective catastrophe for a ten-minute mistake. He is sitting at the bar waiting for the ceremony to begin and is amused at the woman who is obviously making her embarrassment worse the more she speaks. He finds her refreshing after spending fifteen years around politicians.

I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. I love Hope. A science teacher who two year's after her divorce has decided to get back into the dating scene. Only the one man she is really interested in is way out of her depth both in looks and experience.

Jordan is a gorgeous man who has become cynical after spending so much time in the Capitol advising his clients on how to spin their issues and even though he knows he has no business touching someone with no artifice, he can't stay away.

This book grabs your attention from page one and you have to laugh at Hope's unfortunate dates. I love the relationships with their family and friends. Naomi and Hannah are too cute! This book is steamy hot and has all the feels. Highly recommend! This is the first time I have read anything by Lily Baines and look forward to reading more in the future!

I recently discovered author Lily Baines and I have since devoured her Riviera View series. If you're a fan of small town, contemporary romance, then this series is a must read.

You Didn't Know Me Then is Hope and Jordan's story. Hope is a single mom, who after being divorced for two years, is finally ready to start dating again. Jordan Delaney isn't exactly the best candidate for her leap back into the dating pool, but Hope trusts science and she can't deny their chemistry. Jordan has come back to his small hometown of Riviera View after two decades of working the politics of D.C. He's in need of a change and he suddenly realizes that he wants more than just his career, but he really shouldn't want school teacher/single mom Hope.

One thing that I love about this series and this author's books is that these are older characters (late 30's and early 40's) and they are just so relatable. Hope isn't some picture perfect heroine. She's had two children and has the mom-bod to prove it. There is just such a realistic portrayal of these characters and their relationship, and as an older woman myself, I appreciate that.

There isn't a huge amount of angst within these pages, but it is enough to keep you turning the them. There is a bit of steam, not a lot, but it all just fits so perfectly with this couple's story. I love the relationship with the children and all of the secondary characters. The world created in this book is one that I wouldn't mind living in. These characters are people that I could see myself including in my own group of friends, and the romance is true-to-life. This story will make you believe in love.

I enjoyed this book more than the first one; only slightly. Luke’s younger brother, Jordan, is back in town indefinitely. He’s been working as a political advisor in DC and something happened that caused him to go running back to his hometown to hide. At their sister’s wedding, Jordan encounters Hope, one of Libby’s best friends. She didn’t grow up in Riviera View but moved there with her now ex-husband. She’s a teacher at the local school. She has reasons to believe a relationship with Jordan is impossible and Jordan has a secret he’s keeping from everyone.

I was 100% invested in Hope and Jordan from the get-go. In fact, I was invested after the epilogue of the first book. I have to say, despite his flaws, Jordan is my favorite of the two brothers. I easily rooted for these two characters to make it.

I hope there is more to this series because I am loving this beach town and its residents!

Amazing book with all the feelings

Jordan and Hope are so clueless about how they fall in love for each other. I love how everything happens here, he doesn’t want but yes he want a relationship, family, home, everything and she is ready not so ready for a new adventure in her life. Lily got me in the “single mom” part, I love books like this one. Here you gonna fall in love with Riviera View again, Jordan is gonna make sure of that. He’s so swoony and romantic. Hope is everything he needs and obviously the girls too, Hannah and Naomi. Their chemistry is amazing, the romance spectacular and so good.
The appearance of characters from book 1 complete the experience, here we can see more of Luke and Libby.

This was hard to put down! Loved this story of Hope a single mom and teacher trying to get through each day and Jordan a political analyst back in his home town for a much needed break. Though an unlikely couple Jordan and Hope bring just what the other needs to the table. Jordan is reevaluating want he wants form his life and Hope fits that bill perfectly. Can he convince her? Can he convince himself he deserves her? Their chemistry is undeniable! They are both such deserving characters. Great story!
