Rachel always thought I was wasting my life on the Sinners, but being Prez is all I’ve ever wanted to be.
When she tore us apart on her journey to become someone, I let her go. I made sacrifices for her, because I knew why she had to prove herself.
I just didn't realize that'd involve freezing me out for years.
Now, she’s the best criminal attorney in the Tri-State Area, and I’m still Prez—only my world is falling apart.
The MC is under scrutiny, our dirty secrets are being laundered in the public eye, and some of my brothers could be facing jail time.

Rachel.

Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Story: second chance
Angst: 😱😱😱😱😱
Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

What a fan-fucking-tastic read! Rex is the book I've been waiting for since Nyx and it did 👏🏼 NOT 👏🏼 disappoint👏🏼. Rex and Rachel's story is far more grand, more epic, than I could have ever possibly imagined and am completely blown away. I feel like I've run a marathon of emotions and will continue to be a wrung out mess while I wait for the answers to MULTIPLE cliffhangers 🙈😭. I went into this knowing it was going to be a doozy, because crusty b!tches like Rachel always have "reasons" for their crustiness, but needless to say, I still wasn't fully prepared for her story.

Rex, the man, really surprised me. All we'd really known before was his persona as the MC President, but the man has TONS of depth and sensitivity that I was just not expecting. A complete loss for words. He is definitely her complement and it was wonderful to see how he tried his best to help her succeed. He's a fixer by nature, but the lessons he learned while supporting Rachel really helped him to be both a better person and better president for the MC. I was also surprised at how much of their journey they've been able to keep from the rest of their MC family.

I really just can't wait for Rachel! I'm completely invested in these wonderfully brilliant characters - them, their families, and their outcomes. The complex storyline is a wonderful, but sometimes tragic emotional rollercoaster ride that is fantastically written. Rex is filled with tons of witty dialogue that has you non-stop smiling, laughing, and eliciting ALL the feels. We also meet new characters in this book that I'm really hoping we some more of at some point in the future!

Rex is the 9th book in the Dark and Dirty Sinners MC series by Serena Akeroyd and is the first half of the Last Bachelor duet. Most of the books in the series can be read as standalones, but I would not recommend reading the duet by itself, it has tons of characters/information from previous books that while explained, would be pretty overwhelming going in blind. It does end on (multiple) cliffhangers and will be concluded with Rachel, the other half of the duet. This series is also connected to the Filthy Feckers mafia series as well. Rex is told in first person from multiple characters perspectives.

brb my heart 😩😭

alright im back and i have no words. i learned so so much about rachel and why she is the way she is and my heart hurt so much for her. getting to be inside her mind more was everything I didn’t know i needed. there were even some moments where i sat there thinking that there was no way she was thinking these things when she seemed like the opposite on the outside…but that’s the point isn’t it? to see that a character who seems so strong, cold, etc. has all of these feelings but has also been through so much trauma and hasn’t shared them in the fear of people she cares about not believing her.

i always knew that i loved rex, but this book made me see why i loved him and how much. he is seriously EVERYTHING. there was one scene i read where my heart broke bc of what he was saying to rachel, but it was him pushing her. she is it for him. he knows that, we know that, everyone knows that. rex is so smart and he is just so in tune with how to show love to rachel and how to read her. rachel is luuuuucky yall.

one scene absolutely broke my heart and the last couple of chapters had my jaw on the floor. i keep reminding myself to trust the process & trust serena. i cannot wait for rachels book bc i need to know that what I think happened in the last chapter didnt really happen.

Rex, the 9th book in the Dark & Dirty Sinner’s MC Series which is also interconnected with a mafia series, titled, The Five Points Mob series. You must read this series in order and this is not a standalone. The reading order is included in every one of Serena’s books so it’s easy to follow.

Rex is book 1 in The Last Bachelor duet. Book 2, Rachel, comes out April 14th

Rex “King” is the President of the Satan Sinner’s MC. We’ve read his POV since the beginning. He’s always been smart, savvy and seemed ultra mysterious. We finally get to read about Rex & Rachel’s complicated relationship and why they’ve always been so and off when it’s clear to everyone they belong together.

I love this entire series and would one click each book because I’m so invested. I have to say, I thought Rex would be kinder to Rachel especially after all of the trauma she experienced. Still, it’s explained she likes a hand off approach.

I don’t like the way he treats her. He apologized and acknowledged he’s rude to her and lashes out but why can’t he just stop? I know it’s the age old question most women probably ask but I honestly felt Rex was way too hard on Rachel.

I didn’t like the secret baby aspect. I very much dislike that in romance novels. This book wasn’t so much a love story as it was a continuation of a plot and Rex finding and then binding with his long lost daughter.

That aspect in the plot ruined this book for me a little. I really dislike the surprise baby, secret baby or any baby trope. I knew she was pregnant from other books. I had no idea about the other secrets.

I didn’t like how Rex talked to her, belittled her, told her her only went along with it because of her. That is so disrespectful and not true. Way to just blame the woman for everything. Rachel kept getting crap on sides.

The poor woman literally did nothing to anyone and constantly gets told she’s “cold”. She could just be introverted lol I saw nothing that Rachel did to deserve the way she was treated by the ladies as well and mostly, Rex.

I expected Rex to be this amazing man but he just gaslighted her. I feel bad she keeps putting herself down. The reaction he gave when she told him she was pregnant was so insane. What he said was just mean and not necessary. Why couldn’t he just be happy for her? And them?

It seems like Rex just puts all the blame on Rachel and at this point, he doesn’t deserve her. Even his daughter pointed out how mean to her he was. A 17 year old knew better than him.

Right now I can’t stand him. The decisions he made and never told Rachel about make me want to punch him. He just made every mistake you could make & isn’t apologetic about it.

Tropes:
Second Chance
Childhood fiends
MC
Interconnected series.
Multiple POVs
Surprise Pregnancy

Triggers: Heroine experiences sexual trauma and rape which is graphically discussed.

Not meant to be read as a standalone. Ends with a cliffhanger that does come out of nowhere. I am so excited to see what happens with that cliffhanger.

AHHHHH REX IS COMING THROUGH

♣REX

♣ I THINK NAME IS enough

I one thing for sure know that this book is gonna be a fire.

Review
This book was loaded with so many emotions and I tell you am an tough nut and I don't get emotional easily and this book made me lose my fuking mind because it's too beautiful and pure. Every single page has a new wave of pain, love, hurt, feelings and I loved it.
Rex and Rachel were made for each other, they were soulmates and both were the strongest characters. I won't spoil it for anyone but when you read it you will know.
Another one is that Rachel was hero of this book. That girl is canon ball for her enemies and lastly I loved Rex's dialogues. That man was 🔥🔥🔥

And the screen play oh I mean book page play lol was outclass. Serena Akeroyd is very talented in how she writes her books with cinematic vibes.

Highly recommend.
P. S I didn't add cast in this because I can't find GIF for cover dude 😂 when I will , I will. Add gif too.

I have been looking forward to this book, and Serena Akeroyd definitely did not disappoint! I absolutely love reading about the Sinners, and I am so excited to be back in their world. With that said, OH MY GOODNESS! JUST WOW! This book put me through such a rollercoaster of emotions. I have gotten to know Rachel and Rex throughout this series, and I was just blown away with their story. I have cried so much from this book, but I absolutely adore Rex and Rachel. I loved seeing the beginning of these two and everything they went through. The ending is just so heart-wrenching, and I am definitely looking forward to book 2! Thank goodness that I will not have to wait long. Definitely recommend!!

We are going to start off by saying wow, just wow! This was a heart clenching read, so much pain and sorrow and heartbreak, my heart broke for both Rex and Rachel, they tore my heart up as well.

My favorite character this time around, hands down is Rex he was so patient kind and loving and what we loved most about him his he was fighting for their love for the both of them.

Rachel what a mess and rightly so but, she is one strong woman and survivor and a woman who went on to create a life where she was in control of it. No matter her hang-ups, she clearly loves Rex with her all but, at some point, I was wishing that she would step up to the plate and fight for her love also.

Rex and Rachel have a lot of history, so perhaps it makes things more complicated but, something surprisingly happens along their journey that heal the rift between them. Their chemistry hotter, then he**!

Overall, loved the story and its characters. I was glued to the pages the entire time, and although I am not a big fan of cliffhangers as I hate them in this case the blow was softened with the fact that we are about to see what Rachel is really made of, and we are so looking forward to that as we already know she is a shark in the courtroom. Rex and Rachel, we will continue to root for your love and your happily ever after.

This is book one in The Last Bachelor Duet, which features Rex and Rachel, and of course includes the rest of the Sinners family as well.

This first book is spectacularly mind blowing! I honestly could not get enough! The storyline is gripping, heartbreaking, heartwarming, and spectacularly emotional. The things we learn and discover, let me just say, WOW!

The characters, of course are fabulous! We have met Rex and Rachel in prior books, but we really get to know them now. They are complex characters with twisted pasts, both with each other and apart. They have a lot to overcome to achieve their HEA, but I for one am definitely rooting for them.

The ending of this story has me super excited for Rachel’s book! I highly recommend this book and series!

You're not ready to have your mind blown this wide open with the story of Rex, the Prez of the Sinner's MC. This book is gritty and raw and heartbreaking. You will cry ugly tears and want to throw your copy of the book across the room. This is the most gut wrenching story Serena Akeroyd has written to date. My heart ached as I read this book and there's no way anyone could read this and not react without a single emotion. Rex ends on massive cliffhangers so you have been fully warned but it is so, so worth the book hangover. There will be a lot of eye-opening moments and a ton of bombshells dropped. Grab your tissues, some chocolate, your favourite beverage and make sure you are in your comfy place when you sit down to read this phenomenal look into Rex and his devotion to his queen, Rachel.

Rex and Rachel have loved each other for over two decades and there is so much history between them, both good and bad. So much anger and sorrow but a deep abiding love that has stood strong through the ravages of time. They have been tested in the past and continue to be thrown into the fires of hell now. They have never stopped loving each other throughout it all but sometimes boundaries are pushed to the point where they just might break. Their relationship is tempestuous at all times. They may not be together in the conventional sense of the word but they know there is no one else in the world who is meant for them. When every little crisis with the MC and their personal life keeps ripping them asunder, will they ever get a chance to finally put to rest the demons keeping them apart?

Serena Akeroyd always seems to write the most emotional, intricate storylines, and Rex is definitely no exception. This is one of those reads that keeps you guessing with it's twists and turns and multiple POVs. But it is so much fun to read. I have always liked Rex's character, since the first book of the Dark and Dirty Sinners Series, and now, I think I love him even more. He and Rachel are both such complicated, intelligent, complex characters, but those are just some of the reasons why I love Serena's stories. If you crave entertaining, fast paced reads, with much intrigue, tons of steam, a fantastic cast of characters, and all of the emotion you can handle, grab this Series and dive in! Note: this book is included in an interconnected storyline and should definitely be read as such. It will not be nearly as enjoyable if read as a standalone. 5 Stars!

O.M.G!!! I have no words. Well…the truth is that I have so many words but they just cannot seem to form a coherent thought. “Why?” you may ask. Well, let’s just say that Serena Akeroyd has left me utterly flabbergasted. Rex, part one of The Last Bachelor Duet, is phenomenal! There is no other description. You can pick and choose any number of adjectives but it all comes down to that one.

Rex begins amid a myriad of storylines and timelines being expertly interwoven with one another. The glimpses we’ve gotten of Rex and Rachel’s characters and relationship were teases to what we get in this book. If you’ve read Hawk, you know the secret Rachel is not doing a very good job at hiding. You also know that Rex was dealing with a very difficult choice of his own.

These two characters can’t even be described separately. Their growth and character arcs are so intertwined with one another that it’s hard to delineate where one starts and the other ends. And this is not a bad thing. It also speaks to the pure genius and talent this author exhibits to create two characters who are truly soul mates, whose relationship is complex and rich and expertly crafted, and who grow together even while apart. Rex and Rachel are meant to be and watching them face the issues that have kept them apart all these years until they realize there is no path for either of them that doesn’t bring them back together was such a pleasure to watch.

As with all of the Dark and Dirty Sinners MC series, we get the POVs of several other pivotal characters. And all I have to say is that I love, love, love Giulia even more! And Amara! I have grown a deep respect for Rachel. And as for Rex, well, he has firmly earned a place in my harem of Sinner book boyfriends, right next to Storm , Nyx, Cruz, and Quin (don’t judge me).

This book evoked all the emotions - laughter and joy, heartache and grief, anger and outrage, passion and love. There were swoon-worthy moments for a few different reasons (that if I name could constitute a spoiler). And all of the spicy moments were scorchingly hot. And that ending? All I have to say to Serena Akeroyd is what were you thinking? She didn’t just leave us on one cliff. Nay…she left us on four different cliffhangers. Like seriously. Four. Thankfully, Rachel, part two of The Last Bachelor Duet, is due out soon. I can only hope I can fully recover by then.

So yes, this book is five stars! It cannot be read as a standalone. So, if you’ve at least read through Hawk (book 7), then dive in with your box of tissues, your drink of choice, and a space on your book boyfriend shelf for Rex. If you haven’t, then go grab the new boxset with the first eight books and some bonus content (including the reason why the Sinners’ club house gets a Posse makeover). This series is so good!!! I’m both excited and dreading the last book. I don’t want this ride to be over.

King of the Sinners 👑

Well I'm honestly in a daze after reading Rex, part #1 of The Last Bachelor duet.

Rex is the Sinner's MC Prez and throughout the series has been portrayed as a father-figure to all. His own personal life is not so rosy and we find out so much more about his mental and moral qualities.

There is so much happening and the story is littered with Easter eggs.

It was so interesting for the inclusion of many of the wonderful characters from Serena's written worlds; the O'Donnelly and Valentini families amongst those I love.

There are cameos from our MC favourites and not forgetting the indomitable Posse ladies

I especially loved finding out the origins of Rex and Rachel's relationship and the turbulent events that kept them apart for so long.

There are quite a few moments of humour interspersed amongst the angst and turmoil.

This is a stunning story told in such an edge-of-your-seat way... that ending!!!
I am so relieved that we are lucky enough to be getting the conclusion to this duet, with Rachel releasing on 14th April.

I don't think my review could do this book justice but here it is. Wow , I have no words. What i have just read. This book is by far the BEST BOOK in the SINNERS so FAR. I laughed and i cried so many times. It is just PHENOMENAL. REX is everything you could ever dream of in a guy and RACHEL is now my favourite Sinner woman she is so strong and independent and i just love her. Again Serena has left me begging for more and i have so many things i need answering. That ending is such a shocker , i will be sat here waiting for Rachel with all these theories running round in my head. Exceptional five star read that i would 100% recommend

1st thought "OH NO SHE DIDN'T"
This may be the Duet of 2022....UTTERLY SPEECHLESS
I knew REX would be a phenomenal book but it literally blew me out of the water. Intense Action, Heartache, laughing, full on crying and cheering. Mix in all the POVs with insight into the Sinners and Posse's brains was perfection.

Holy..crap..y'all..I can't!!!! Serena has really frickin outdone herself!! I cried so hard..and then I cried again! This is the first in The Last Bachelor duet while being the 9th book in the Sinners' MC series.

Rex has been a story that I have been waiting for. After seeing his character throughout the series, how he's had everyone's backs and been the leader to a group of bikers. While watching how he was with Cyan and Storm in Storm's book made me fall in love with him. This book made me completely fall in love all over again! The things he does without question or hesitation makes him the best King ever!! He truly puts his heart and soul into everything that he does!

Rachel is definitely Rex's woman. She has been throughout the series. We've known...but I didn't realize to what extent that she was Rex's. Rachel has been the shark. She's been the person that you want fighting in your corner. She's brilliant. You don't realize how broken she is. She encases herself so deep in ice that she comes across as unfeeling. Then in The Don you see a whole other side that made me extremely curious. She feels so much. Almost too much. The amount of sheer torment that she has been through is a testament to how strong she is and I cannot wait to see her fire.

I loved the new characters we meet as well as hanging out with the Sinners. Seeing them again was so wonderful! I didn't want it to end! The cliffhanger on this one is beyond anything I've ever read! I used to not like them but Serena is forcing me to love them. This one makes you think! A total what the world moment!! I absolutely cannot wait until Rachel's book comes out!

I missed the Sinners so much!!! Rex was one of my most anticipated books of 2022. When I found out that Rex was actually going to be split into The Last Bachelor Duet, I was really excited, but nervous. After reading this amazing book, I confirmed that I had every right to be nervous! The ending of this book packs a mighty punch (many punches if we are being honest), and it just destroyed me. This book ends in multiple cliffhangers.

Rex is the President of the MC, and has been in love with Rachel since they were teenagers. She grew up in the club, but left for college and became a criminal defense attorney. In this book, we really see all the behind the scenes stuff that Rex has done to support and protect Rachel over the years. He always says that she is it for him, but she continues to push him away.

Rachel is the Sinners’ lawyer, so she has made an appearance in many of the previous books. She has always been portrayed as an ice queen and in Rex, we finally found out why. Rachel has a ton of unresolved trauma that she needs to work through before she can be in a successful relationship. I loved her character growth in this novel. Although I was a little mad at Rex for leaving, it gave Rachel the opportunity to finally become part of the MC family on her own. Some of my favorite scenes in this book are watching Rachel develop relationships with Guilia and the other members of the Posse.

Like the other books in this series, this story is told in multiple perspectives. I love how the author is able to give so many different voices to the events in the story. It gives us a great chance to catch up with the characters that we love from previous books. I also loved the appearances and connections to the characters in the Five Points Mob series as well as The Valentini Family.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ll just be picking up the pieces of my heart until Rachel is released on April 14.

Holy….wow. I just…..man, I just have no clue what to say. I just finished and I am sitting here in a daze trying to process everything that just happened. Not to mention that helluva cliffy she just left us on! I literally screamed NOOOOO when I realized there were no more pages. This is a heavy read y’all, I’m going to warn you with that now. This story explains in detail why Rachel is the way she is and by God does my heart break for her. But you know what makes it better? Rex. He is the epitome of a great and caring man, even if he is the president of a 1% club. They live in the gray area, but it fits them completely because like most of us know, life is not all black and white or right and wrong. Lines are blurred but they need to be to survive. And that is what a lot of this story is about. Survival. Coming to terms with the life that was handed to you and trying to make it the best it can be. I don’t want to give too much away. This is one of those stories that you don’t want spoilers on. You don’t want to know what happens before you experience it for yourself because if you do, you are missing out on the wonder of being immersed in their lives and truly feeling how they love, how they hurt, and how they get revenge.

I love these Sinners! I feel like I have been waiting for Rex and Rachel's story forever, and I guess I'm going to be waiting a bit longer. This book does end on a cliffhanger, which I usually wait to read, but the wait will be short, Serena promised!

These characters are complicated and their heartbreaks and history just could not be told in one setting. I feel this book gives us the background, while still staying in the present. It was painful to read parts of this book and watch how truths destroyed hearts and hurt families. It wasn't your quick pain and revenge story, because revenge could not really be had and the satisfaction that can come from revenge was denied.

I can't wait for Rachel's story because the ending of this book was ........

Wow. Just wow. I always knew Rachel & Rex’s story would be intense but it blew me away. There is so much to unpack in this one. Hard to believe but even more secrets were uncovered, small pieces we were given in past books are knitting together to create this huge masterpiece. That’s what this series & the Five Points series is… a masterpiece. I have a feeling it’s not close to being finished either.

I really loved that we got to see so many view points in this one. Characters that I’ve missed hearing from. I had this awful feeling in my stomach throughout the book because I just knew a bomb would be dropped on us & Serena didn’t disappoint. I’ve never been more thankful that the next book is only a month away.

Ive been eagerly awaiting Rex's story and, as usual, Serena Akeroyd doesn't disappoint.
She has this way of writing and sucks you right in, so you're sitting there with the characters.
Shocking secrets and twists in book 9 of the Dark and Dirty Sinners left me shocked to the core.
I loved how she wrote the other characters into the book, too.
If you haven't read this series yet, why the hell not?!!
Now I need Rachels's story asap.

how. does. she. do. it.

Omg. She has done it again. Rex and Rach. Their story was nothing I ever expected. It was more than I could have ever come up with myself. The plot thickens. Things are coming to a head. The end is so near I can taste it but so many unanswered questions. I loved seeing so many POVs from previous books. I love this series. The plot is 1000/10 spice is 10/10 and everything else is everything I never knew I wanted. Cannot wait for the next one.

Where do I start? I really have lost the ability to write words!! This book!!! OMG!! I absolutely adore The Sinners so not only seeing the powerhouse team that is Rex and Rachel, I've also got to see more of my favourite MC characters....which has been bliss pure and simple bliss....its like family coming home!! But this book has wrung me through the emotions that only Serena Akeroyd can weave.....yes there are triggers (readers be aware to read the triggers) but they are handled with such emotional feelings that you feel the emotions the characters go through...you will cry, in fact I sobbed because quite frankly what both Rex and Rachel go through is just enough to break any heart of stone.....you will laugh because come on the posse's revenge when decorating the clubhouse is just absolutely hilarious....your jaw will also drop to the floor because OMG that ending almost made my heart stop....and you will without doubt ride through this emotional rollercoaster with your heart in your mouth and that's what makes this book AMAZING..... just simply brilliant ❤❤❤

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry with this being the final bachelor’s story, but thank the dear lord that we get it as a duet!!

Rex, ahh finally Rex gets his story, and OMG if I didn’t think I could love him more, he is officially my favorite. Which is hard, because I love all of them!

Rachel and Rex have a very complicated past. It’s not at all what I thought it was going to be. In some ways, it’s so heartbreaking, actually in most ways it is heartbreaking, but their love has insured for over 20 years.

There are so many things happening in this first installment of our duet, and I can’t even go into detail because it would be a spoiler, but OMG, the cliff hanger is worth it!

Out of context comments…I’m obsessed with Wynter! What the heck was Nyx thinking?! Could Link and Lily be any more adorable?! Rachel made me cry! Also I can’t wait for Kendra to get hers!

Seriously though, Rachel has so much for depth then the ice queen that she’s been made out to be in the previous books. I wish she would’ve turned to Rex when stuff originally went down, but she had her reasons, even if they were dumb. Rex and Rachel could’ve had a Bear and Rene love story, but secrets and stubbornness have kept them apart for years.

I cannot wait for book 2 in the Duet, Rachel!! But I’m so sad that the Sinner’s series is ending, I’ve loved the Sinner’s since book 1!!

I love A good Motorcycle club book and this definitely falls in that category! To say Rex and Rachel have a complicated relationship is a understatement! Majorly dysfunctional would be the more accurate word! Rachel has had major trauma in her past and has major emotional baggage from it. Rex loves her soo deeply but doesn’t know the full story and doesn’t know how to help her. This book has soo much going on and the story is so layered with a great story. We have club drama, family drama and so much dysfunctional but boy is it soooo good. Let not forget the heart stopping cliffhanger and we need the next book as soon as possible for!!! Can’t wait to see what happens next!

Emotional Rollercoaster

After reading Rex I'm an absolute emotional wreck. This book took me on an emotional rollercoaster. I had moments of wonder, crying and WTF at what all happened between Rachel and Rex throughout their relationship. The fact that they stayed true to one another throughout the years, after all they had been through is heart breaking.
We've seen throughout previous books what their relationship has been like and you always wondered what caused them to be apart. Well, we find out so much about that in this book and more. It's not a pretty picture. So heed the trigger warnings.
If I hadn't already liked Rex so much beforehand, I definitely would have fell for him after this book, as it is I only fell harder for him.
Serena Akeroyd truly is the Queen of word building, cliffhangers and the hostage of your emotions. Once I picked up this book I couldn't put it down. If I thought Storm was emotionally heartbreaking and broke me, he had nothing on Rex.
I highly recommend Rex to anyone who wants a good read, with a lot of twists and turns that you don't know which side is up at times. I'm highly anticipating the next book in this duet.

Finally we have got Rex’s story and it’s has been the book I have been waiting for to find out why Rex and Rachel’s relationship is the way it is one minute they are hot for each other then the next Rachel is as cold as ice.

A lot off questions have been answered and definitely some very shocking surprise and as you read there story I now understand why Rex and Rachel’s relationship is the way it is but they have lost so much throughout there life but the one thing that outshine everything for them is the love they both have for each and that it has never changed no matter what life has thrown at them.

I love the sinners books and I have loved Rex’s story so much I have cried a few times reading the book but I have also laughed especially when the posse take Rachel under their wing and omg the cliffhanger at the end what the no words just no words and we have to wait another month before we get Rachel’s story. Serena Akeroyd you have done it again an absolutely fantastic story loved reading Rex’s story and can’t wait for Rachel’s

I am in love with these characters, I just wish they could get on the same page. Rex is all about Rachel but she freezes him out. Now he needs her more than ever in more ways than one. Excellent writing. Explosive storyline. A must read.

Omg Serena!!! You had me in my feels with this. Rachel…. I hate that she has suffered for soooo long. Also those bombs of info!!! Rex has quickly become my favorite Sinner. I can’t wait for Rachel’s book. You left me hanging off the side of Mariana’s Trench lol. I had to stop and bake some cupcakes to eat my feels lol. Also can the new baby be a girl named Summer? I loved seeing everyone get a spot in the book and coming to terms with their abuses and stuff. Please don’t let terminators 🍆 go to jail! lol

I feel like i was waiting for their book for forever! It didn't disappoint!! I couldn't put it down until I was done. I hate cliffhangers but this one was worth the agony of another month to finish their story!

Phenomenal! One of the best books I’ve ever read!

This may be incoherent because my mind is completely blown by the whole of this book but most definitely by that ending. WOW.
Serena has definitely become the Queen of Cliffhangers for me… 4…FOUR twists dropped on me! Oh how am I meant to function after reading this book?!

Throughout this series and even more in Storm, I completely fell for Rex, making him my Sinner Husband. His book, just compounds that for me, he is everything I knew he would be and yet so much more. He’s the kind of guy, us romantics dream of with the right amount of possessiveness, the devotion, the loyalty, and most of all, the way he supports rather than barricades his way into your business. He’s perfect.
Rachel is by far one of my favourite FMCs’ now. The heartbreak, the trauma that’s still very real to her even in this book broke my heart. She’s a survivor of a different kind, even with her cracks, she’s stronger for them and carries on with a strength that makes you admire and love her. Out of all the Posse, if there was every any of them that deserves their own book, it is Rachel. I’m so unbelievably happy that she’s getting that and I’m just made up to see more of Rex and the others in the Sinners family.

I loved getting to see POV’s from quite a few of the other characters in previous books… it’s just made the book that much more special.
Guilia. Reading hers and Nyx’s story, and all the other books we know how feisty she is but this book made me love her even more. She is everything, from caring to downright hilarious in this book. Rex has made me soften to characters that were nowhere near my favourites and yet has left me more excited for their books in this same universe.

Honestly, if you’re looking at this book or reading this review then you need to download it now… you won’t regret it. It’s become one of my most favourite books. I can’t wait for Rachel!
Absolutely phenomenal!

This book left me speechless. It is so good. I couldn’t put it down. I cried so many times so make sure you have a box of tissues to hand. Rex and Rachel’s story is everything worth waiting for, it is amazing. Brilliantly written, addictive, heart breaking, I loved it. What a rollercoaster of emotions I felt throughout and oh my gosh what an ending! Such a huge cliffhanger. Roll on April, luckily it’s only a couple of weeks, when Rachel is released!
