For lovers of cowboy romance, you need to read this one, better yet read the whole series! This one is a cute and sweet small-town romance that's very well-written.

I really enjoyed it. Maggie comes from a very conservative and strict family. She is a 25-years-old virgin and never been kissed before. And she is determined to cross some of those firsts off her list. That's where Nick comes in. He was so sweet and caring towards her, he did everything to make her feel loved. They have the perfect relationship that a lot of people only dream about. And the sexual tention between them is crackling!

If you are looking for something sweet, look no further.

The Cowboy and his Valentine by Kaci Rose is a western romance. It's the seventh book in the Rock Springs Texas series and it's about
Maggie and Nick.

Maggie Stevenson was from the small town of Mountain Gap, Tennessee and her family had moved to the even smaller town of Rock Springs, Texas
because her sister Ella had gotten married there. When she first got there Nick the award-winning chef who worked at her brother-in-law's
restaurant, asked her out and she flat out refused. Maggie was the more independent sister and her dream was to have her own photography
business and move out of her parents' house. She had no time for dating. That started changing when Nick kissed her. Growing up with
conservative parents she had no experience and her new feelings confused her. Nick wasn't going to back down, he knew that he wanted her
to become his wife. That's why he wanted to take her to Sweetheart's Dance, where as the rumors said people found their soulmates.

It's a sweet and steamy small-town romance. There are insta love and many cowboys. The plot is simple and easy to follow. It has a dual
pov and great scenery descriptions. There is a tiny bit of drama and a reference to a problem that exists from the previous books. It's
solely focused on the brewing romance between Nick and Maggie that takes place for almost a month. Valentine's day is the peak of the
story. The characters were great. Their erotic scenes had good chemistry. What I love the most in western novels are the sceneries and
the kind manners of the people.

It's a really good book perfect for Valentine's Day. I enjoyed it a lot and I will rate it with 4 stars.

This was a cute story with a sweet woman who is ready to explore who she really is and assert a little independence after being tightly held back by her conservative parents. Coming to Rock Springs, she meets Nick and both can feel the attraction. But Maggie wants to take her time and explore the little bit of freedom she feels while still holding true to her own values.

For Nick, he knows the legend of Rock Springs states that the person you attend your first Sweetheart Dance with is your soulmate, and he wants to make sure that Maggie is the one by his side for the Valentine’s Day celebration. He sees her hesitation. But will he be able to win her heart by the time Valentine’s Day arrives?

I enjoy small town stories. Everyone is family, it seems, but there is so much love and caring for each other. Grab your copy and see how Nick and Maggie approach a relationship. There are some bumps along the way, but it’s all part of learning to trust. See if the two of them can find a HEA with each other, because we do not want to see the legend failing on this one!

Maggie and her family, a strict religious household, had moved to town because her sister got married and moved there and they followed her to the ranch. Nick worked with Maggie’s brother in law. They secretly were attracted to each other. Their fun relationship started with a Kiss and Run on New Year’s Eve. Nick and Maggie had an interesting and exciting time as they explored their relationship while dealing with jealousy, hormones, mean girls, new traditions, intrigue with an underground rodeo and lots of love. Fun

Sweet and sassy love story. Maggie is adorable and I love her completely she has grown up to know that she won't be with anyone until marriage. When her family moves closer to be by her sister, she's about to come out of her shell and it's so pretty. Nick is amazing and sweet and he has his eye on Maggie. When a miscommunication happens he will do whatever he can to fix it. He knows she's the one, but can Maggie know that he's the one. These two will banter like no other, and they will show you sometimes you have to beat the past to move forward. Find out though if Maggie can forgive Nick and fall completely in love. I love this series, the author, and all the stories of love, lost, and true happily ever after.

This book was a nice edition to the Rock Spring, Texas series. It focused on Nick, who has been smitten by Maggie since he first met her. Maggie was trying to decide if she wanted to be courted like her upbringing had taught her or if she wanted to find her own way with Nick. Well she's deciding there are some obstacles to get in their way such as Lauren, who will do anything she can to break up Maggie and Nick.

I also liked the mysteries in the book and the epilogue for the next book in the series sounded really good. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

If you are looking for sweet, look no further than The Cowboy and His Valentine. Kaci Rose has written the sweetest of sweet with this book. Low angst, tons of adorable romance, and all the swoon you could hope for this book will have you feeling even more warm and fuzzy than Hallmark movies could ever dream of making you feel!
Honestly the only drawback for me isn't even a drawback and just a personal preference, and it's also part of what I know many people will LOVE from this book, and that is at times this was slightly too sweet for my tastes and had me craving just a dash more of some angst.

I've really enjoyed this series because of all of the kids, the adopted kids, the kids' spouses and boyfriends and several sets of parents and a grandparent! This one is really sweet with Nick pursuing Maggie, a girl with no dating experience who he asks to the Sweetheart Dance for Valentine's Day! It works out OK even if they don't arrive at the dance together! And, while it's not exactly a cliffhanger, there are a couple of threads within this story that apparently will get resolved in the next part of the series.

Maggie wants to find herself and achieve some goals before she settles down. She comes from a very strict family, where her sister dated a long time before she is finally getting married. Nick works way too much, but stops dead in his tracks when he sees Maggie, and knows she is his soul mate. The dance coming up has a legend - Whoever you take under the Valentine Dance arch is your soul mate. What happens there is a complete surprises to a few people. Next surprise is Las Vegas and the get together there. Oh the conniving that goes on with this bunch, but they do rally around each other, too. Maggie definitely has proof of that. And the parents changing their ideology of dating, etc. Welcome to the 21st century.

"Rock Spring legend states the person you attend your first Sweetheart Dance with is your soulmate." A well-written romance with charm. The chemistry between the couple is hot and explosive. A good ole fashion romance.

Maggie wants to start her own photography business and move into her own place.. But she comes from a very conservative and religious household. One where a courtship means very minimal physical contact, and you always have a chaperone with you on a date. Only she doesn't agree with any of that. She knows what she wants.

Nick works at a restaurant and helps out on the family ranch. He has been asking Maggie out for months, but she keeps turning him down. That's ok, I'm a patient man. When she finally says yes, he knows he must take it slow or he will lose her for ever.

I received this as an arc for my honest review.

This was beyond great and probably the best in the series. I loved Nick and his take charge ways, but also his softer side that made him able to realize his mistakes and rectify them. Maggie was sweet and innocent but still had an edge and independence. I was in love with the book from the first page and throughout. Now I’m excited to read Royce’s story.

This is part of a series and I have not read any of the books in the series, so I didnt know what to expect. I have read this author before and I have enjoyed her other books. This book stars Nick and Maggie.

I felt this book was on the strange side. As I said I have never read a book in this series so I did not know Jason or Ella who is Nicks best friend and related to Maggie thru marriage to her sister, Ella. The whole courtship thing was very strange. And the whole no kissing until your wedding day was a hard concept for me in 2021. It was a little too much for me. Added to that that Maggie still lives with her parents. I just could not relate to all of that.

The writing was good though and I enjoyed getting to know the characters but the whole courtship, purity thing and no kissing was way to much for me and I could not relate to the characters.

I received a free ARC copy of this book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

While I overall enjoyed this book, I did have some issues with it that took away from my reading enjoyment. Firstly, this is book #7 in this series and I believe I might have rated higher if I had read the previous books first. There were so many secondary characters in Maggie and Nick's book that I was lost. These characters were everywhere. Many times the author added them to scenes with no introduction. I was confused with some of the relationships and felt left out of the group's dynamic. If I would have read the series from the beginning, I am certain I would have had no interruptions in my reading flow. Also, Maggie and Nick were already introduced prior to the book's opening and that disappointed me some as well. My last issue with this couple was the hot and cold between them. I won't go into details about that so you can judge on your own but it became repetitive.

Because I did like the connections I felt to this author's writing, I want to go back and read this series from the first book. I have a feeling if I do that, I might have a different outlook on The Cowboy and His Valentine.

This is my honest and unbiased review and I thank you for taking the time to read it. :)

This book was such a good one to read. Nick is this hardworking chef who is absolutely enamored with Maggie. He knows she’s completely innocent and that he will need to take time in dating her but their attraction is so strong and Maggie is wanting to carve her own path in life. Maggie comes from a very conservative family that are strong in their beliefs and morals her sister courted her now husband for a long time before the married and Maggie wants to keep some of her morals but she doesn’t want to wait so long to be with Nick. Can they navigate their new relationship as things and people try to tear them apart or is their love too strong to be shredded? A hot alpha cowboy and a sweet caring lady embark on their journey to finding themselves and happiness. Definitely can’t wait for more in this series.

Sweet romance in a small town where everyone knows everyone and everything. Adoration abounds and miscommunication happens but two young lovers manage to fall in love with help from their families and close friends. I enjoyed following the storyline from both Maggie and Nick’s perspective which is not something that always happens in a romance book.

This is the first book in the Rock Springs Texas series I have read but it is written as a standalone. However, it makes me want to read books one thru six before book eight comes out in late February!

The Cowboy and His Valentine by Kaci Rose. There is something to be said for old fashion values, matchmaking sisters (and friends), and knowing what and who you want and not letting it go. Nick and Maggie have an intense attraction, she seems hesitant to act on it, so Nick does what he thinks and makes the first move. Now he’s swimming upstream all the way to get back to good. I found this story to be a nice paced contemporary drama with dual POV and just enough steam, drama, and conflict to keep you interested and routing for the HEA. This story is full of likeable characters and flowed very well. It highlighted the importance of respect, understanding, trust and communication. Both Maggie and Nick went backwards and forwards with their thinking and actions, but ultimately they drew on the support, understanding, guidance and advice from their family and friends to get to the HEA they both longed for. I am really looking forward to finding out what happens next for this group of family and friends, and how Royce will finally get his HEA.

I received an Arc for an honest review

I didn't realize this was a series until I started reading it, but it can be read as a standalone. The story was a little hard to follow in some places. But overall I liked it. The main character comes from a conservative family and they live in a small town where everyone knows all the things lol. Nick works at the family bar and has eyes for Maggie, our main character since he first met her. I liked seeing the progression of Maggie from the beginning of the book to the very end. I wondered if her family's conservative ways would get in the way of how Nick pursued her. Now I am interested in Royce's story.

This is the second book I've read by Kaci Rose and I enjoyed this cowboy romance which is about Maggie and Nick. Again I found this story (ARC) well written and a engaging story, the characters - Maggie who's been under the thumb of her parents, decides to volunteer setting up the town’s annual Sweetheart Dance and meets Nick, a chef who owns a restaurant and works on the family ranch who also volunteered very likable. Nick takes one look at Maggie and knows "she's the one" but how does he insure she gives him a chance in this delightful cute story around a Sweetheart Dance set in a small town scene was a pleasure to read.

Nick works at the family ranch and restaurant and his life is busy. Maggie comes to Rock Springs to find herself after leaving her parents house. There is an instant attraction between the two, but Maggie wants the space to find out who she is. There is a legend that who ever you attend the Valentine's day dance with is your soulmate and Nick has to work to get Maggie to go. This is a sweet story with wonderful characters. I could feel the attraction and even the hesitation on Maggie's part. This is just a great Valentine's Day themed story. Wonderful.

I loved the story of Maggie and Nick. We get a glimpse of them in Cowboy and his Mistletoe Kiss. Nick is interested in Maggie but she’s never dated before and isn’t sure how to respond. Nick is so wonderful. He makes mistakes but apologizes as soon as he realizes he’s made one. He tries to be patient and loving. Maggie is a beautiful soul. She was raised to be conservative but is trying to find her own way of doing things. Together they find the sweet and steamy balance that works best for them. My favorite part is the Sweethearts Dance and the archway.

Miss Rose has done a phenomenal job on this one. I absolutely loved Nick and Maggie's story. Nick is a BBQ champion who can have a restaurant anywhere but he loves Rock Springs. Maggie, Ella's from The Cowboy and His Sweetheart sister. They are from a strict modest Family but Maggie isn't set to follow there views on dating. This book started out with a bang and I was hooked and didn't want to put it down. I laughed, teared up and wanted to punch one of the characters. This is an easy flow, adventurous romance. If you like hot cowboys who love their women with all they are you don't want to miss this one. A MUST READ I HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The Bodacious Benefits Of Perseverance -
Maggie was brought up in a very conservative Christian home, but she seemed to enjoy the direction her new life afforded her, after she moved to a new town with her family. Nick felt his life was full, but still missing something, so he felt shaken to the core after he kissed Maggie at the New Year’s celebration. Their path to a happily ever after is brimmed with matchmaking, stumbling blocks, steamy moments and an antagonist who didn’t seem to understand the word ‘NO’.

I really loved reading this sweet and heartwarming romance, that will have your heart brimming with joy by the time you finish reading it. I enjoyed reading how how the people in their town always worked together to achieve success in their endeavours. It made me want to live in a town as beautiful as the one described in the book. This is the second book I have read from this author and I can surely say I am happy I took the chance. I will definitely keep reading Kaci Rose books in the future.

This story was sweet. You get to meet all the previous characters as well, so that’s great to see how everybody is doing.
It really is as if you’re also part of this small town. Nick was so sweet and caring towards Maggie. She had his heart at the very first sight and he did everything to make her feel loved.
Curious to see if Royce get his girl.

This is the love story of Maggie and Nick. The storyline is all about the Sweetheart Dance and the legend that comes with it. Because of that legend Nick is determined to enter the dance with Maggie.
From the beginning I liked Nick’s character better than Maggie’s. But reading about her background, most of her reactions were understandable.
I really enjoyed this lovely story. It also has familiar characters from previous books.

I received an arc of this book and this is my voluntary and honest opinion.

taking it slow or fast

Maggie and Nick are such a cute adorable couple.
Both know what they want but have different ways of expressing their wants and needs.
Lots of bumps and roadblocks with these 2 but eventually it looks like smooth sailing.
Just can not wait until we see what Vegas has in store for this couple and their families.
