Tia Louise is the USA Today and #4 Amazon bestselling author of (mostly) small-town, single-parent, second-chance, and military romances set at or near the beach.

From Readers’ Choice awards, to USA Today “Happily Ever After” nods, to winning Favorite Erotica Author and the “Lady Boner Award” (lol!), nothing makes her happier than communicating with fellow Mermaids (fans) and creating romances that are smart, sassy, and very sexy.

A former journalist and displaced beach bum, Louise lives in the Midwest with her trophy husband, two teenage geniuses, and one clumsy “grand-cat.”

Loved Hit Girl... love the series. Intrigue surrounding Molly has been building throughout, she was always a bit aloof especially when she moved to Seattle, she has her reasons and rightly so but she needed to keep her movements under wraps... it all added to the suspense. You worried for her safety and her being caught.
Tia louise has done another fabulous job with this story... kept us guessing on a few things. I was hoping Stas was going to be Molly’s real father but wasn’t meant to be but was as good as if not better.
Molly’s life couldn’t be more different compared to the beginning of her and Joshua’s story, who’d of thought by the end she would be married and a mother and extremely happy... lovely ending.!

I really enjoyed this balls to the wall, no nonsense story, that had me gripped from the very first sentence. Molly spent her life living two lives and the secrets she managed to keep were just mind blowing and that was what mainly kept me so on edge and hooked.

Although this book was a tale of revenge it was also a really beautiful love story, that I just adored. I loved Molly aamd Joshua together and although Molly is strong, she needs him more than she knows and he is just perfect for her.

I read this book as a standalone and really didn't even know it was connected to any other books. Which is great as nothing was lost at all. I really recommemd this really intriguing revenge story.

Great book following on from other books, however this is Mollys story and it’s great for her to get her side of this and perspective. Josh also is just a sweetie. Loved this and ended really well

What a superb ending to a brilliant, but heart-breaking, tale! Some wonderful characters brought to life through the writing and mind of a brilliant author. A deep dark underlying story full of monsters and pain, but bright shining lights at the end of the tunnel (story) for all our heroes and heroines.

This is Molly's story to tell and does she tell it. This book is full of drama and anger at what she has faced growing up and now it is time for justice.
Molly follows up on past attacks from girls she is now helping but what she doesn't realise is she is becoming another target of her own but she has more to loose this time.
Beautiful ending with twists I didn't see coming

Great story, great characters, molly the no nonsense, quirky, vulnerable heroine of the tale and Joshua innocent, gutsy, do anything for his woman alpha male. Really good plot line with a happy ending, bonus. Love Tia’s writing, evokes the heat and the dark underside to New Orleans. Looking forward to Mark and Lara’s story and some background to Molly’s tale. Loved it 🌟🌟🌟🌟

What a thrilling fantastic ride we go on whilst reading Molly’s story. These are all new characters to me avid it may be best to read previous books to get a better understanding of who they all are and how they connect.

From the first I was captivated by Molly, that first scene where we meet her took my breath away literally I was a heart stopping moment. Then we see her ‘other’ life with Joshua who I loved so much.

The story is intense as Molly works through her revenge list whilst coming to terms with her relationship with Joshua. I felt the tension building the closer to the ending I got. A really good story that grabbed me from the start.

I adore Tia Louise's work and this book was not different. I was thrilled when I realised there was a reappearing character in this book. Hit girl can still be read alone but for the full effect I would recommend reading 'into the starts' and 'into the light' (they are brilliant). Great writing and storytelling (as always), I adored the book and loved the end, it neatly tied up all the loose ends form the previous books but as said you could read alone and would still find it immensely enjoyable.
Thanks for a great read, keep up the good work Tia, I cant wait for your next book.

5.0 out of 5 stars she is such a badass and I love it. We need more books with strong lead ...
Reviewed in the United States on 19 March 2018
5 Stars does not do Molly and Joshua justice at all!!! Especially since I have a girl crush on Molly, she is such a badass and I love it. We need more books with strong lead females who has had enough of being beat down and taken advantage of and has taken a stand and says no more!!!! You going to mess with me we’ll go ahead then I’ll make sure you will regret it. And Tia has brought us such a superhero in Molly a woman who takes names and kicks a$$. You will find yourself cheering right along for her and hoping she wins even though what she’s doing is morally wrong. Then there’s Joshua, sweet, sweet Joshua whom I just want to just cuddle and love on him. He’s like the perfect man and counterpart to Molly. He loves her to no end and she actually feels safe with him which is unusual. He wants her to open up to him but yet they each hold stuff back from each other. But when it all comes to a head and things blow up and the dust settles will there be a Molly and Joshua to work through all the problems? I guess you will find out when you read this book. It can be read as a stand alone. But you will hear of characters from Under the Lights and Under the Stars in this book so it’s totally up to you on whether you want to read them first or not considering they did come before Hit Girl. And I highly highly recommend all 3 books!!!! - By Tina

What a wild ride Ms. Louise as put us on! It all started with Lara and Mark-I didn’t think Tia could possibly write a more action packed, beautiful story, but then, she writes Hit Girl! I know it’s March, but this is easily a top read of the year.
I’m so happy that Molly got her own story-we know she was a complex character that went through a lot when we were graced with her presence in the background of Lara and Marks story. There was absolutely no better day to start reading Hit Girl, than international woman’s day, because Molly is hands down one of the most independent, strong woman I have read. I loved every second of her journey, and most of all I loved how much she complimented Joshua. Joshua’s character was also absolutely flawless. He wanted to protect Molly, and win over her whole heart at all costs.
I love every single one of Tia’s books, but Molly’s story was special. Go one click this book now! You won’t be able to put it down! - By Victoria

5.0 out of 5 stars Review: Hit Girl
Reviewed in the United States on 21 March 2018
Hit Girl by Tia Louise is the story of Molly, a young woman hell-bent on revenge and Joshua, the man who made her believe in love again. If you read the Bright Lights Duet then you will recognize these characters and be familiar with Molly's back story but you may also be ready to write Molly off as immature and cold-hearted. This story completely turned my opinion of her on it's head. She is a beautiful, strong woman with a loving heart and her issue is she cares too much. About keeping the world safe, about protecting the girls that are in the same danger she used to be and about keeping Joshua safe from herself.

Molly has made a home in Seattle with Joshua and while she is still pursuing her "list" of revenge, she is also trying to build a future. With one foot in the past though, it is difficult for her.

Joshua knows Molly is keeping things from her but is willing to let her open up in time. He has his own dark past that he isn't ready to talk about yet either.

Well-written, well-paced, told in dual POV this story is complete with a happy ever after and can be read as a standalone but if you have the time and inclination I would recommend reading the books in the Bright Lights Duet first. Enjoy!

4.0 out of 5 stars Sexy, dangerous, and a whole lot of fun!

Once again Tia Louise has written a knock-out romance! And even though Hit Girl is billed as a standalone, it can be read as the third installment of the Bright Lights Duet. I loved revisiting the characters I've come to know and getting to know them better in the process! Probably one of Tia's darkest books, Hit Girl is an enjoyable ride for anyone who likes a little death, and vigilante work with their sexy times.

This was an amazing story from beginning to the end. Molly & Joshua, I couldn’t get enough of. Molly seeks revenge for what happen to her when she was younger and has a major secret that she is keeping from Joshua. Secrets always get revealed, when Molly’s secret is out will it be the end of Molly & Joshua. Brilliant read that will have you reading nonstop. I’m definitely going to read Mark & Lara’s Story next. Amazing characters, Amazing story which is no surprise since I love Tia’s writing.

Joshua and Molly's story was a wonderful conclusion to the Bright Lights duo. Molly's story is hard hitting, dangerous, wicked, and downright scary. It was knuckle biting to the end.

Tia Louise is one of my favorite authors and this latest book did not disappoint. The way Ms. Louise writes characters and weaves a story you want to devour is an addiction I don't mind admitting to.
