I stole from him. And when he came to collect, the money was gone. I used it to try and save someone I loved, but it still wasn’t enough.
Now Nico Morrelli is blackmailing me for the money I took. He’s ruthless and unyielding.
The Wolf in an Armani suit.
The man makes my body crave submission. Yet he can cost me and my girls everything. When he forced me into the underworld, he destroyed the sacrifices my family made to keep me safe.

Interesting plot with twists and turns, suspense, secrets and revelations, with good and (head)strong characters. I wasn’t excited with Nico secretly messing up with Bianca’s contraception pills and there were a lot of characters to keep track of.
Above all, too many repetitions that nothing could have been made more crystal clear and sex between Bianca and Nico was far beyond fiction that even rabbits were put to shame... 🙄 Grovelling was out of the question...
This series is just a guilty pleasure at this point. I figured after the first book that I wasn’t gonna get the vibes I usually expect from a mafia book but sometimes I’m fine with some lite mafia entertainment. - and on a side note Those covers! - truthfully I’ve been enticed to read mediocre and downright bad books because of covers before and this series is no exception. Right now I’m contemplating starting the next book just because damn, that cover is fineee.. it’s like a promise which ultimately doesn’t deliver.
Anyway, unfortunately, this book was worse than the first. Whereas the first was absolutely ridiculous plot wise, this one didn’t have a plot for most of the book and towards the end it just put something together which really gave off amateurs vibes.
Also, what really bored me was the fact that for the most part this book was filled with endless and needless descriptions of the MCs which we would get from each other. In an active scene at the beginning of the book it took 3/4 pages for me to actually read the interaction between characters (which is what I was interested in) because the author just kept going on and on and on with useless meandering thoughts that our heroine had. Her absolute shock and attraction to the hero, her overseeing him, her freaking out internally. It was literally pagesssss. And the book continued in the same way for most of it. Sometimes those things are good and welcome, here it was to compensate for the lack of plot and it irked me. I have no patience for this. I’ll take a ridiculously over the top plot over something that seems ripped from the pages of a journal. And it wasn’t just the heroine doing it. The hero would also drown my interest in pages and pages of contemplation of his motives, his attraction to the heroine and his need for her and her beauty. I swear if I had to read one more page of it, I would have thrown my kindle. But I’m also stubborn and I wanted to finish it to get some crumbs for the next book maybe - which I didn’t get.
Also, the plot, as I said before, it was ridiculous and flimsy, and the hero’s so called “revenge” - it was laughable. It was so pathetic that this 40 something years old man came up with the cheesiest and most passive way of “avenging” his sisters death. Where was the revenge exactly?
It just felt like there were no stakes. And the main characters didn’t exactly grow into their love. Again we were told about their all encompassing lust and attraction and whatever but like - yeah, ok, anything else?
Also, NEVER and I mean NEVER would I forgive a man for tampering with my birth control. Not to mention that this wasn’t down the line in their marriage and he wanted to finally have kids (not that it would make it more ok) but literally before they got hitched she told him that they would discuss the matter of kids in a year or two and the bitch that he is switched her birth control before the wedding. But it was all okay because she forgave him and laughed about it in the epilogue like it was such a silly joke. If I could bitch slap some sense into her pea sized-internalised misogynistic brain of her i would.
When Bianca's husband stole money from the mob, she knew trouble would catch up to her eventually - she just didn't realize she would be all alone when it did. Nico Morelli knows the identity of Bianca's biological father and her deceased husband's past transgression is the perfect blackmail tool so he can exact his revenge. He doesn't realize he's going to get caught between his need for revenge and his feelings for the widow he's developing feelings for.
Another Eva Winners masterpiece! I just love all her mafia books. Nico is just the best ❤️ . I just love how he claims Bianca's children as his own and goes all caveman about getting her pregnant (for us forced pregnancy fans out there, lol). Bianca is actually one of my favorite Eva heroines so far. I love that she's Ms. Suzy Homemaker and completely owns it, but she's not shy or demure and especially not a push over. The chemistry between the two of them was fantastic and the smexy times super hot - Nico is a super dirty talker and it definitely get's her (and me) going :). I also really enjoyed the fated, "it was meant to be" aspect of the book. It made it really sweet.
Nico is the second book in the Belles and Mobster's series by Eva Winners, but can be read as a standalone. It is told in first person, from dual perspective.
A sizzling hot story, the chemistry between Nico and Bianca exhaling from the pages is a ticking bomb, the build up and angst masterfully interwoven into the plot, by the time these two got together I was ready to blow.
Despite the undeniable desire they have for each other both Nico and Bianca harbour secrets, their pasts collide and play havoc with their future. They have enemies, they may trust their bodies and struggle to fight their hotter than sin attraction but they never lose sight of what’s at stake.
Nico is set on avenging his sister who was brutally murdered. When he sees Bianca is the perfect pawn to play his game of chess, he decides to use her end eventually end this match. Checkmate! What Nico didn’t take into account is how deep under his skin Bianca would get, once the wheels are in motion it will be hard to stop. Nico needs to work hard to get his revenge without risking to lose his woman in the process.
Bianca is a sweet and fierce woman, I loved her integrity, the fight she puts on when somebody tries to put her into a corner. Her strength and courage make her one hell of a woman and mother. I could totally relate to her need to bake to fend off stress and cooking to decompress. My Italian soul sung in tune with Bianca in various occasions. There is really no hope for this broody hot Mobster, no matter how tough, this Belle will have him kneeling and worship at their alter. Hats off Ms Winners for making this worshipping extra hot and steamy.
I enjoyed this cocktail of lies, betrayal and deceit with a good dose of hot, steamy sexiness. This second instalment, like previous books, is dotted with repetitions, especially within the characters inner musings, however I came to accept this is Eva’s style, it didn’t slow down the narrative pace so it still gave me a nice reading experience. I’m getting so involved into this world and attached to its inhabitants I can’t wait to learn more. To read new stories and revisiting old friends.
I don't know what to do ➺ I won't let myself be walked all over ➺ He's so hot ➺ Get over it, focus ➺ I don't have a choice, I'll think of a way to escape later ➺ I don't know what to do, etc...
Despite this, I didn't hate her. If I was about to lose my home less than two years after my husband died and with 4 year old twins to care for, I wouldn't precisely be clear thinking.
What really became annoying was the excessive amount of BBS. I dnf'd the previous book exactly because of it. The only thing that saved this one was the fact they don't start off as antagonistic toward each other as the previous couple.
・・・── ⋆✦ ┆Hero
His plan for revenge against the man that brutally r*ped and murdered his sister:
➺ Find info
➺ Discover heroine is bio-daughter of his enemy
➺ Realize enemy doesn't know he has a bio-daughter
➺ Decides he'll use her for his revenge
➺ Have her as a sort of mistress, then discard her with lots of money and protection for life
➺ Tell enemy what he did
➺ Realize he wants the heroine for more
➺ Traps the husband into owing him lots of money
➺ Doesn't do anything about it for 15 months because husband was dying of cancer
➺ Change plan to marry instead of mistress
➺ Take picture of them in bed and send to enemy
➺ Brag that he has the daughter who lives pampered and in extreme luxury
➺ ... maybe kill him at some point?
Disclosure: this might be inaccurate because... i still don't understand what the revenge was...

The steam was pretty hot which it's why it's getting two stars. It has bc tampering, though, which I know is a firm no for many.
I've been craving a good OTT dark mafia romance for days and I haven't been able to find it...
I have been a fan of Eva Winners' Belles and Mobsters series since Luciano's book. I was introduced to these hardened men in The Den of Sin and was so excited to read more! Nico and Bianca were so delicious. I loved their chemistry and the palpable tension between them. This was a great forced marriage/single-mom story.
Nico was sexy, engaging and full of sexy chemistry between our hero and heroine. They had a connection that could not he denied. But while I loved this (standalone) story and the ongoing storyline from book 1, I did find that there was quite a few missed opportunities where Nico could have bonded with his new step-children. Being a mother is SO important to Bianca so the fact that there wasn't a scene one-on-one with Nico and his new children where readers could see him break from his dark and edgy mafia "boss" persona was disappointing. In addition, the readers saw Nico refer to Bianca's children as his children countless times but we really didn't "see" or "feel" it. The children were mostly off the page. This I felt was a huge missed opportunity by the author as it would have humanized and further endeared Nico to readers.
Overall this was a solid addition to this series and I look forward to reading Cassio's story. 4 stars! ~Ratula
"I hoped for a hero in disguise. I got a deceiver. A liar."
"LUCIANO" made me fall for this world of Belles and Mobsters and with the second book, the author fed my newly addiction and I just want for the stories of these wonderful mobsters to keep coming to us!!! "NICO" was an amazing story full of secrets, lies and deceit... Full of lust, hope and love!!! Bianca and Nico were a beautiful couple and I enjoyed their story very much!!!
"You are going to break me, aren't you?"
Nico is seeking revenge from a man who brought too much devastation into his life... His only weapon against him is Bianca Carter, soon to be Morelli... Nico is determined to use Bianca, even though when he is coming closer to her, she keeps surprising him in every turn and he is falling little by little under her spell... Can he sacrifice his love in the name of revenge???
"She called out to me like a siren's song. I just had to make sure I didn't fall under her spell."
Bianca had lived too many losses in her life... and she is still mourning her husband when Nico is stepping into her path and everything is turning upside down... Her husband had stolen from him and now, he is coming to collect his debt... There is no money, so she has to pay with body and soul... She is scared to be pulled into his world when her family had made so many sacrifices to keep her out of it, but now she is forced to enter it and which will be the consequences???
"This man was my fire. The fire quickly became inferno -dangerous and deadly."
Nico and Bianca had incredible chemistry... The pull between them was heavy from the first pages that they met each other... They were always meant to be, but they are both keeping too many secrets and they are lying to each other in order to succeed on their causes. Will these lies destroy them once and for all??? Or there is still hope where there is love???
"She made me hope for things I never wanted..."
"He would be my sweetest demise. Or my most bitter one."
I loved Bianca and Nico, even though they were so opposite from each other. Bianca was too domesticated and you could love her so easily... She was a great mother and she had a big heart... Yes, she may appeared as a weak, but she was anything but that!!! She had the ability to bring Nico to his knees and I loved the way that she was doing it...
"Nico Morelli, my master manipulator and my husband, was my gravity."
Nico was a ruthless mobster, but he had a good heart. Yes, he wanted to use Bianca, but honestly, you could see from the first moment that he was very protective of her. He wanted her and he was determined to have her no matter what... I liked that he never thought the twins as anything than his daughters!!! He got too many points into my eyes for that reason!!!
"I will protect you and your girls." "And who will protect us from you?"
And now, I'm craving more and more of this world... I need to learn everything about these captivating mobsters and their fearless belles!!! My only objection to this amazing story is that there were too many unnecessary, in my opinion always, repetitive inner monologues.... Still, I wasn't bothered by them and I fully enjoyed this crazy, intense and full of suspense ride!!!
"You are mine for life. You run, I'll hunt. You hide, I'll turn every rock until I have you. There is nowhere you can hide that I won't find you."
**I received an ARC for the exchange of an honest review**
After reading Luciano, I've just been obsessing and waiting patiently for the rest of this series. I loved Nico's story. I loved that he wanted to avenge what happened to his sister but at the same time, he fell in love with the one person who he could use for his revenge. And that's Bianca. He knew it was wrong to use her but he was also trying to protect Bianca and her daughters. Which also means, he's never going to let them go. I definitely get his reasons, though I wished he would've just admitted his feelings rather than elaborating a scheme to get her to agree. Their story is a fast-paced one I finished it in just one reading. I can't wait to read the next one.
When the book starts the heroine is married, then a widow. The Hero barrels into her life and bribes her to marry him. She has twin girls from her first marriage.
The Hero and heroine met years ago though never actually spoke. He has a love them and leave them attitude, never be tied down but it changes with the heroine. No intimate scenes other than the Hero and heroine. Small other woman drama, Hero isnt interested. Heroine did previously love her first husband though things were not a rosy as they seemed. HEA. Epilogue.

Nico & Bianca. Another couple with a lot of potential but not the desired result.
The book was full of repetitions. About her past, about the arrangement, about his plan. It got quite tiring. And the worst part was, that the final steps of his revenge were never actually mentioned. So I wasn’t sure what he tried to achieve tbh.
In the first half, we see a lot more of their thoughts than actual interactions or dialogue with other people. And the end was once more rushed.
Nico was ok for a morally grey MC I guess. I would have liked him but one specific action of his that completely disrespected Bianca’s rights made me furious. And I wasn’t exactly convinced with his obsession-he didn’t know her!
Bianca was alright, if only she would show some resistance to her body/lust. There were more than enough spicy scenes. And of course, there was 0 grovel. 🫤
The part I liked the most was the wedding. It had fun moments and I especially enjoyed the chemistry and banter between the guys.
Her previous husband was an absolute ass. There, I said it. No hate to the dead, rest in peace and all! ↳BUT, HOW DO YOU HAVE THE HEART TO CHEAT ON YOUR WIFE WHEN HER FATHER DIED AND SHE WAS IN TRAUMA? 😒
Nico: "Is my woman jealous?" "I always go for the neck." ↳ ok, boy. "I only intend to have you in my bed."
I liked him for majority of the book. Didn't like him so much when he switched out her birth control.
Bianca: "So what else do you do besides being a criminal?" ↳ sis, I can't. Please...🤣 "Just one touch and I was like a bitch in heat." ↳ at least she is self aware.
She was kinda badass, honestly, especially at the part with Benito King.
↳ "Cara Mia" - Damn, all these hot men and their endearments. FREAKING ELECTRIC.🧎♀️➡️😮💨
The age gaps are so big in this series. Like the men are either 40 or super close to it. ↳ Nico was 40 and Bianca was 26. 🫠
"Ella married Luciano Vitale's cousin." ↳ Excuse me, when? I need all the deets. God, I feel so nosy.
"I'm going to marry him." ↳ Hannah, girl, really hope you do when you are older! Matteo is so sweet!
Anyways, Cassio is next! ↳ I have high hopes for you, dude. Please don't let me down. _______
pre-read: really want to skip bc it has the single parent trope, but we'll see how it goes.
Tropes — Mafia romance — Single mom — Age gap — Touch her and die — Forced marriage
Bianca Carter would be mine. To own. To possess. To destroy.
After the preview we got at the end of the previous installment in Belles & Mobsters I was expecting Nico to be a much, much darker read than this. Surprisingly though, it had a dozen or so lighthearted moments which made me chuckle to myself.
Not a lot of mobster politics going on here, but the focus is rather on the leads, their families and friends.
The one part I felt let down was when some issues were just skimmed over rather than being addressed in detail. For instance -
• I still have no clue about the whole history of why Bianca's mom's ex-fiance of all people got entrusted with taking care of her. Don't call me out but I would've also liked some flashbacks featuring her grandma and dad. They made the book a lot more warm whenever they were mentioned.
• The flashback to when Bianca was 19 and Nico had first seen her. That moment was only mentioned in passing maybe twice during the read. I'd have loved to know more of the juicy stuff from the past!
• The whole birth control pill swapping saga - Details?!
• This is not me complaining, but this wasn't exactly a revenge trope per day.
I have just finished the second book in the series, this is Nico’s book. I am so sad to leave this world.! I need the next book now. Cassio book is next and I have a feeling it is going to be my favourite. I already know just from reading small part at the end of Nico’s book.
Anyway this series is based on Belles and Mobster series. I won't tell you what that means beause it will ruin some of the plots in the books. But both books are completely different plots set it in the same world. The men in these books are best friends while running all there crime businesses. They are brilliant. Them together is hilarious, sexy, fun you will fall in love without evening knowing there story.
Nico 4 ⭐️
•Forced marriage •dirty Talk 5/5 •captivating read •spice 5/5 •the wolf in an armani suit
From the moment you meet Nico you will fall in love. He’s a ruthless man but with the biggest amount of filthiness. He is everything. He wants revenge for his sister death. The woman he wants to take his revenge out on is married with kids. This book is full of secret and lies. All waiting to unravel. Absolutely loved it.
