    This book is set before the Belles and Mobsters series but it doesn't necessarily need to be read first. I loved seeing more of Alexei ♡ he is my favorite made man out of all her Mafia Men.

    Vasili is the eldest Nikolaev and when his father died he took over the family business and as such is the protector of his younger siblings. Isabella is his sister Tatianas best friend and a woman he can't get out of his head but his interest in her has more to do with revenge than lust. Isabella though is consumed by thoughts of her best friends very older brother and hers are all about lust but after a night in the sheets Vasili leaves her heart in tatters on the floor and disappears leaving her broken.
    5 years pass and she manages to somewhat move on but when he pops up again one night whilst she's with her new partner the feelings all come back.
    Vasili inserts himself into her life again with many regrets of his treatment of her and will do anything to have her in his life permanently but convincing Bella to trust him a second time will prove difficult but with the truth out about her true parentage many will do anything to get their hands on the beauty something Vasili will never let happen.

    Note: This is a prequel to the belles and mobsters series. Please read in order to understand the storylines.

    Triggers: violence, child ab**e, cheating Dubious consent, drama, cancer, s**ide mentioned, tra***ing.

    This book was on extra levels of wow.

    Set before the series of belles and mobsters, it explains the bad blood between several cartels and how one women binds them all together. Through some seriously over complicated connections, they all tie in with each other.

    The woman in question has her own tragic life although not as massive scaled as her now current life but still very fragile and heart shattering. But soon she gets embroiled in troubles and a love unexpected.

    Wow this story was something special indeed. Usually I’ve slight troubles connecting to this series. But I loved this quick intro to the belles and mobsters series. And how this one woman ties em all together.

    I loved the characters, how they all bond, who they are individually (the voices are just so individual), the relationships (I loved them all even the main MCs), the drama (though sometimes it got on my nerves), the scorching chemistry, the emotions, the plot itself, and just the overall writing was addictive.

    I can’t wait to read more by Eva!

    Eva Winners has become one of my favorite mafia romance authors! And when I heard that she was planning to release another mafia romance novel, I just knew I had to read it! And so far, this one is my favorite! The Den of Sin is a standalone and can be read as a prequel to The Belles and Mobsters series. It's an age gap, best friend's brother and dark mafia Halloween romance, (just in time for the spooky season!) As soon as I read the blurb, I was automatically intrigued. Navigated from the main characters' perspectives: Isabella and Vasili's. Holy, moly wow! The heat in the prologue was through the roof! I didn't expect to escalate so fast! And the plot twists!! It's a fast paced read and I was impressed how Eva Winners tied in the events with each other, hence I couldn't put down this read!

    Ahh, Isabella! My heart ached to see what she went through. And I was p*ssed off with Vasili's behavior! I mean, what he did to her! She experienced heartbreak, loss and is still trying to heal from the wounds that were inflicted on her, namely by Vasili.  As I read his perspective he started to redeem himself. Vasili may have hurt and used Isabella as a pawn, but he wants her back. He's possessive and jealous as hell, and Vasili realized that he wants so much more with Isabella. Despite how many years have past Isabella can't deny the way her heart and body reacts to him. But she won't go down that road; she's not going to put her heart on the line again. Or so she thought. Even though the s*xual tension between them is thick and heavy, Isabella didn't give in easily making Vasili grovel. I'm happy to see that Isabella and Vasili got their HEA! Can't wait to start The Belles and Mobsters series!
