    Nico is the second book in the Belles and Mobsters series. In the beginning I was a bit unsure about whether I was going to like this as much as i did Luciano but I definitely did 💖 Alexei is still my fav so far....

    Bianca is the hidden daughter to Benito King a notorious mafia boss known for his vile ways of trafficking women and his torture of her mother through an ancient agreement between their families after her grandfather became indebted to Benito. Bianca's mum Sofia made Bonito believe Bianca wasn't his but her fiancé at the times child and shortly after she was born he took Sofia as per the deal.
    Bianca found out who her real father was when the man who raised her told her on his death bed.
    Years later when her then husband became mixed up with the mafia her path crossed again with the mafia through Nico Morelli, when her husband stole from him she worried for her family that he'd come after them but he never did... well not until two years later when she was a widow.
    Nico may have his own reasons for tracking Bianca down but the stolen money was a good cover story and so he blackmailed her into marrying him. But Nico wanted Bianca as his wife as revenge to Benito the man who brutally killed his sister... Bianca for his sister...
    Though his initial reasons were revenge he also wanted to protect Bianca from the man that would sell her to the highest bidder without a second glance.
    With their relationship starting out based on lies, lies that only grow more and more between them when all the deceit and betrayal comes out will they be able to salvage what little trust they have left? Marriages in the mafia are for life and neither can deny the chemistry they share but will it be enough...

It’s all about family and loyalty, with a healthy side of vengeance for good measure. Nico is strongly motivated by vengeance for his sister. He seeks out Bianca, a young widow, to further his plans…but doesn’t count on falling in love with her. Thoroughly enjoyable read that was easy to consume in a few hours.

    Nico and Bianca are next in the Belles & Mobsters series. Nico forces Bianca into a marriage and Bianca is a single mum. They had some good chemistry and attraction to each other.

    Bianca is a widow, whose late husband stole from Nico and was cheating on her. Nico discovers who Bianca’s biological father is and decides to use her to plot his revenge.

    Not cool that he swapped out her birth control. We didn’t see too much of the twins or Nico bonding with them,, even with him referring to them as his kids. Would have been nice to see that bond develop.

    Nico and Bianca are a beautiful couple, and I read this fairly quickly as I couldn't put it down. Bianca is really sweet, and Nico is well, your typical obsessive mafia male.
    I enjoyed seeing Nico's playful sweet side and the love the automatically has for Bianca's girls is beautiful and written really well into this story.
    I enjoyed this.

    All the stories revolve around a contract called Belles & Mobsters, in which each of the senior mobsters has committed a girl from their immediate family (daughter or niece) to the auction in place of the financial help they have taken for the next three Generations. The main villains in the series are Benito King & Elder DiMauro.

    This is the story of Bianca Carter, the illegitimate daughter of Benito King & Dominico Morrelli aka Nico, head of the Morrelli Crime family. It makes for a good read with intrigue, toe-curling scenes, a strong stand by Bianca on her opinions, deep love of N for B. It is in this novel a new family ties & relationships are revealed bringing the 7 friends closer. The epilogue gives a peek into their new family life. The pace & the scenario all fall in the right manner.

    A definite download-and-read series.

    Even though all the books are standalone read, it is recommended to read in order-wise as all the mobsters continue making their presence felt in the story either as individuals till the time they are not married or with their wives & children at a later stage. There are at times cross-overs of mobsters from other series also, with a small action/help provided by them. Infact, some of the mob's children have their own story as well !

    Bianca’s husband stole money from the mob when he was sick. After he died Nico came to settle the debt . She either had to have the 3 million dollars that she owed , marry him , or be unalived. I know a lot of people don’t like the main characters to be widows because they feel it’s the hero competing with the dead. I have to say I didn’t care for Bianca’s late husband or the things he did that left her in this position. Stick with this story and you won’t be sorry. Everything is not what it seems in the beginning.

    I read the first book in this series a while back and loved it. In case you want to check it out it was called Luciano by Eva Winners. It was 5 stars as well. I loved how possessive he was as well. These can be read as stand-alones but I totally recommend reading this one as well because it’s a good read.

    I loved the chemistry between the couple. The need they had for one another’s touch just jumped off of the page. You could tell Nico was completely obsessed with Bianca.

    The covers in this whole series are to d^e for! I am usually not a cover wh0re because what matters most is what is on the inside but when they are this gorgeous I notice.

    Some of the writing was repetitive where more than one character would say the same thing. I can’t explain it but it bugged me. Not enough to make me stop reading because I loved the story. The side characters were fantastic and I couldn’t stop reading . I loved this couple together.

    This book has the best wedding reception I’ve ever read in a book. I laughed so hard at the chaos and dysfunction in this group.
    The things they bickered and bantered about were priceless. This isn’t really a spoiler since you know it was an arranged marriage book. You will want to highlight so much of that wedding scene you won’t know what hit you!

    The one lines the couple say to one another in this book are as romantic as they come. The twin girls are adorable and I loved Nico’s relationship with them. In fact I wish there had been more interaction between him and the twins.

    Nico was so possessive and protective . Yes he lied and he manipulated but he was a lovable character and he always had the intentions of protecting Bianca even when he was manipulating her.

    Bianca was a sweet and fierce heroine who was handed the short straw in life and everyone toon advantage of her including Nico. I really didn’t like her friend Angie at all . Her late husband left her with a mess of his making . All she wanted was to be left alone to raise her girls. She grew leaps and bounds as a character and developed a backbone by the end of the story.

    This series is shaping up to be a favorite of mine. It’s not perfect but the story is worth the small imperfections. I can’t wait to dive into the next one which is Cassio’s story.

    Since this was my favorite Eva Winners book I wanted to listen to the audio and I loved it even more than when I read the book. Nico is still my favorite of the series. The narrators in this audio did an amazing job but especially the male narrator. His voice was so smooth and just plain hot. I will definitely be looking out for his narration in the future. He’s now my favorite male narrator!

    Some of my favorite tropes were in this book including the βrεεding and single parent tropes. Don’t miss this audiobook because it’s truly the best one I’ve heard so far.

    Nico and Bianca are pretty much made for each other but the timing was just not right and while he did some questionable things and used her, it basically was to protect her and I’m fine with that

    Still would’ve liked some some communication between them but then the plot wouldn’t be filled with drama and excitement

    I loved that Bianca was a spitfire and put Nico in his place often, sure there was punishment for that, but she had no complaints about that 😏

    The found family was so heartwarming but the loss was devastating but in the end what can one do but move forward

    Can’t wait to dive in into the other books and continue to read about that whole world 🥰

    This is great because not only has this Belle already been married but she has kids already which tends to be unusual for Mafia style romance books.

    Nico definitely takes all that in his stride and has me hooked as he tries to work through his feelings at the same time as getting his revenge.

    Both of them have secrets but the journey is done so well I was hooked from start to finish and has left me desperate for the next in the series as just loving them so so much.

    This is going to definitely be on the recommend readers its not to dark either so suitable for a lot of romance readers that may otherwise stay way from Mafia or Dark Romance.
