    Eva Winners has outdone herself with her latest release in the Mobsters and Belles series, Alexei.

    This is a story of redemption and atonement for Alexei and the horrific way he was raised.

    I loved the fact that this book toe’d the line between the law and the mob. It shows how an FBI agent who is set on finding revenge will do just about anything to get her man.

    The interaction between Alexei and his brothers gave this book the touch of humour it needed to not make it a truly dark romance. I loved their banter and how Cassio, Raphael and the rest of the gang step in just at the right time.

    Alexei may seem the coldest member of the group but his past is powerful and it was amazing to read his side of the story.

    I highly recommend this book and can’t wait to see what else Eva comes out with!
