Luciano: Lovers-to-Enemies-to-Lovers Mafia Romance (Belles & Mobsters) Kindle Edition
Luciano Vitale.
Cruel. Heartless. Ruthless.
A criminal. A monster. A murderer.
Belles and Mobsters were never meant to be together. And I still fell in love with him, only to be torn apart. Lesson learned.
I escaped with nothing but the clothes on my back and my best friend at my side. We hid in plain sight, and started a new life.
Just as life became normal again, we were found. Dragged back into the underworld.
This time the stakes are much higher. Failing is not an option.
If only he wasn't my demise.

Narration was awesome.
- Reviewed in Australia on 23 September 2024Verified PurchaseI really enjoy mafia books. Luciano is the first book in the Belles & Mobster series.
I liked how their story was a bit different and we saw how Grace grew and turned her life around while she was separate from Luciano.
Side characters were great and look forward to reading g about them in the other books.
- Reviewed in Australia on 18 March 2025Verified PurchaseI absolutely loved this book. I didn't find it to be too predictable. At first, I'd found the present/past a bit confusing, and the way it started kept making me think, "Is there a book I am missing?" Fear not, lovely readers, it is on purpose, which I thought made this novel stand out from the rest of the mafia/bratva novels I have read. It had suspense and intensity. I couldn't put it down. I was so enthralled from start to finish. I didn't even mind that the steamy scenes were brief (however, still good)
5/5 storyline
4/5 spice
- Reviewed in Australia on 20 June 2022Verified PurchaseI started reading this series with Alexei first and then decided to go back to the beginning. This book follows Luciano & Grace. It's not overly dark for a Mafia Romance but it is a Age Gap, Enemies to Lovers story.
When Grace first saw Luciano across a crowded club she had no idea that he was a Vitale sworn enemies to her family the Romanos.
He forced her into a quick marriage as revenge to the Romano's but he never expected to actually fall for her and Grace only agreed as a way out of her terrible suffering from her years of living under her Uncle and Grandmother after her parents were killed.
When one of Luciano's shipments get hit the same week he trusted his wife with that information he turns on her believing she betrayed him for her family.
He throws her back to them like a piece of digarded gum. Trapped back in a life she doesn't want she does the only thing she can think of and runs with her best friend. They seek refuge in Sicily hiding in plain sight and with her secret she took with her that night.
Luciano blinded by his anger soon regrets what he did to his wife but when he searches for her rumors start circulating that her uncle had her killed but he never stops searching for her.
One slip up from Ella her best friend leads Luciano right to her hidden hideaway and she's whisked back into the underworld life.
But when Luciano realizes that he wasn't the only reason she was trying to hide when he learns about an ancient deal called Belle's and Mobsters between the Romano and King families he learns that she was sold long before he came and stole her and they will do anything to get her back.
Luciano and Grace's lives are far more intertwined than they first thought when they learn the deaths of her parents and Luciano's mother and sister are all connected it'll make their thirst for blood and revenge all the more sweeter when they bring down the empire that's corrupted both their lives.

Wow, just wow, I love reading/listening to a Mafia story... 📚
I got pulled into this series. The excellent way these stories are told draws you in, Luciano & Grace, both alpha characters this story had you holding your breath & all different feels from the main story to the side characters I can wait to read about the other mobsters. 📚❤️
The dual narration was so well done that it made the story so real. 🎧
This will be living in my mind rent-free for a long time. 🏠
Thank you, Eva Winners💐
Narrators Lilly Drake & Walker Williams brilliant narrations. Thank you🎧

- Reviewed in Australia on 3 March 2024Verified PurchaseWhile this story is one of those ones where you need to suspend your belief in reality for a bit (the two FMC become experts in IT and money laundering in a couple of years, for example), the world Eva begins creating in this book is so wonderful. This was a reread after a couple of years and it’s still engrossing - I read it in a couple of hours (basically one sitting). So much to look forward to with the rest of this world to reread.
- Reviewed in Australia on 4 May 2024Verified PurchaseThis was a different sort of mafia book. Right from the first chapter, I was just waiting to see what grovelling Luciano would need to do.
Grace was a great, strong FMC. Keeping her wits about her.
Luciano was very stubborn but definitely brought the spice.
I had a pretty good idea how some of the story would end up, but it still kept me turning the page to see it all unfold.
I read on Kindle and read along on Audible. An enjoyable audio with a growly male voice.
- Reviewed in Australia on 13 October 2024Verified PurchaseI saw an edit on TikTok and even though I can't stand Mafia romance I gave it a go. It was OK, but I still hate Mafia romance, hence the rating.

5.0 out of 5 stars wow
Verified PurchaseWow, that was some story
The beginning, confused me a little bit, but I say kept reading and after the time jump, it all makes sense
Really interesting to read about a FMC who can hold her own by being independent and strong, even if it came with struggles
The block twist when Luciano found out the whole truth, for me, was so funny because I thought “ well well how are you gonna get out of that?”
A great story for a quick read, and I am definitely reading the other books in the series , I really like this universe.

5.0 out of 5 stars Surprise and patience
Verified PurchaseWhen I started reading I felt really angry and mad with the protagonists because of some actions (about how he treated her and how she reacted after the things he did to her), but I gave it a try and it was my best decision ever, because I felt so in love with them that it was amazing to read, so don't give up and keep reading, I really liked this story!!

3.0 out of 5 stars It was okay
Verified PurchaseI liked the book but specially the chapters where it was Grace's POV, I felt like Luciano was very repetitive (I must avenge my mother and sister bc this guy did this thing to them) in all of the chapters, like we were not allowed to forget it. Also on the very first pages he introduced everyone and it was a whirlwind putting a name to job description and who was related to who, it was a lot of info dump
Groveling 2/5 but Lil Grace stood her ground as long as she could
Oh and what irked me, her son was (most of the time) speaking Italian and she never bothered to learn it until the only one who could understand him was the one she didn't want to talk to, dude, come on
I don't know if there's a series but I'll check them out and see how everything unfolds
