descriptionI am seriously discombobulated as F-CK right now. I mean, it says "DUET", right? That implies TWO books, right? So...what the actual f-ck was that ending?? I am legit SO confused! (lol)

description

Stepping away from my confusion for a minute, there seems to be a pattern in my reading lately with duets where the second book never quite reaches the same greatness as book one. For 99% of this book, that wasn't the case. This book was good. It kept me hooked. The writing was outstanding. The plot was deliciously dark and twisted. The characters well developed and intriguing. There were twists and turns.

All good things...

description
Unfortunately, there were also two very large issues that cost this book a higher star rating. One, the romance... or should I ask...what romance?? There was SO much anger, lies, manipulation, and frankly abuse between these two (that NEVER stopped) for the entire two books it made it impossible for me to connect to them as a couple. The one (or two) sex scenes we got were cold and borderline rapey. They never once sat down and have a decent, honest conversation. Which brings me to by FAR the biggest issue I had with this book (duet)...that f-cking ending??!! What in the actual f-ck (ya I am swearing a lot) was that? Am I being punk'd??!! Is there a third book coming? Because I don't even know what to say! It was SO abrupt. It resolved nothing. There were loose ends EVERYWHERE. I legit don't know what just happened... (lol)

However, this seems to only be an issue with me, since other reviewers seem to love it, so keep that in mind before deciding on whether you want to give this one a read or not.

Let's do this!

UPDATE:
Alright, I'm going to be honest here ok? I finished reading this book a while back and my thoughts were kinda all over the place so I thought I'd give myself some time to think it through and perhaps read it again?
yea...No. Tried reading it a second time hoping it would perhaps change my views on the book. But NOPE!

I did not enjoy this book. hey, I'm all for a dark romance and all the raw gritty details that comes along with it but this book was a huge NO.
Usually when I read a dark romance , I enjoy the beauty amongst the darkness but there wasn't anything to enjoy here.
There's a huge difference between being cruel and just plain abusive. And this dude just takes it on a whole new level that boils my blood. I think the appropriate term would be psychotic and manipulative.
Snowy annoyed the crap out of my patience. There is a difference between being naive to the point where, you know..you sometimes you feel bad for the person but Snowy is just plain naive to to point of it being stupid and juvenile... She irks me to no end.
Don't even get started on their 'relationship'...half of the time I can't tell if he's truly sincere or just pretending. 🤷🏻‍♀️
And that ending?! it's too 'did they/didn't they'... it's all up in the air with too many possibilities that just isn't satisfying.
Sorry but King's Horses is a no for me.

So this was book two in the Savage Fall duet and considering book one totally smashed my walls down in terms of what I was comfortable with: meant for me there was a degree of trepidation going into this.
So this one was slightly milder in terms of content than its predecessor: I also enjoyed this slightly less.
In a way, Blake is now after the revelations at the end of book two trying in his very controlling fashion to somehow win back Snow's affections with limited success.
This time around Blake did seem more human but I did find that both characters here struggled in expressing there finer feelings.
No one seems to be able to say sorry and I struggled to feel the love here much to my disappointment.
There was definitely an intense connection here but I felt this seemed more carnal and physical in nature rather than emotional, their interactions at times just seemed so impersonal.
Perhaps on reflection, it was the lack of meaningful conversation expressed between these two that caused me to question the authenticity of there feelings.
What this did have going for it was that it was still a really gripping read that I managed to read in one sitting.
It was also very well written and despite this being a somewhat uncomfortable journey of discovery I am still very glad I stayed the whole course.
This was an interesting and intense experience.
On a final note can I just say I am a trifle bemused by that ending it was just so abrupt and open-ended in nature.
It just seemed really unfinished like it was halted mid-stride and left me slightly perplexed.
I voluntary reviewed a copy of King's Horses (The Savage Fall, #2).
All opinions expressed here are entirely my own.

RTC! Not enough grovel.

Some more thoughts:

King's Men was absolutely lethal. It made me feel too disturbed and in a bad way, where I felt depressed on behalf of the heroine's deteriorating grasp of her mental state. I did question to myself if this was actually going to be a romance.

So when we get to King's Horses, I was worried. However, it is lighter in that there is no mindf**k. Well. At least no extended mindf**k the way it was in King's Men. And the best thing that I can say is that the hero and heroine are both incredibly messed up and I like the genuine exploration of: I am completely obsessed with you AND I am mentally broken and not sure if I can love you the way I used to because I cannot get over my demons.

But I did not like how the heroine was basically handholding the hero to the finishing line when I felt like he had to do a lot more begging/grand gestures since he basically made her attempt suicide after making her insane.

Not one of my favs from Lana Sky.

I feel like my main issue with Lana Sky’s books is that her MMCs don’t do enough groveling. Like they’re all mostly terrible people and are terrible to the FMCs in their respective books, but they get 5 pages at the end of their stories to apologize or in some cases not at all😅. Love the journey, not so much her endings.

I was addicted to this book.

I enjoyed the complexity and the mystery. I absolutely adored the lows that Blake would go to in order to get what he wanted - namely Snow. I thought multiple times to myself - “No, he didn’t just do that. Who would do that?” but he totally did! Some of his moves were clever and manipulative, in all the best ways. He just didn’t count on Snow also making her own moves. Some of his other moves were vague and not well explained but given my sole focus was them, I didn’t even care.

I loved how well they knew each other based on being best friends when they were younger, before it all went to shit. How their memories would taint every interaction. Their love story was messy and painful but engrossing. He was so tortured and she was broken. But it worked for them. I could feel their love for one another through their actions. That ‘s what I love about Lana Sky - the scenes and story are multilayered - it’s not only what they say that matters, but how they act. Often, it’s discordant and you can’t see the truth unless you step back.

When all was revealed at the end, I felt that I got some but not all the answers. I love when bad people get what they deserve but that didn’t happen. I might have missed it, but what happened to Daniel, Sloane, Ronan, Hunter - Why didn’t she get pregnant with all the unprotected sex? I realize the story happened in a short span of a few months but still…

I felt the ending was a bit abrupt. I felt this with the Ellie Gray series too. I’d notice I was close to 90% through with the story feeling like it could go on for another book. That being said, I did get my HEA and because of that I felt satisfied. All in all, it was a good read.

So King's Horses starts up where King's Men ended. We are getting both POV in this book although it is mainly Snowy whom we get to hear. However, when we do hear from Blake, it is a great insight into how and why he is doing what he is doing. Blake is not a bad guy; he is just a product of his past. His love and somewhat obsession for Snowy has turned him into a raving lunatic. Can Snowy and Blake find it in themselves to get over their past mistakes and make a future together? Or will they always be fighting each other and the world?

This second book is just as dark and twisted, but Snowy is not the weak and naive girl she was in the first book. Snowy has a fight in her that we don't see in the first book. I liked that she is finding herself and standing up to Blake. King's Horses was a delightful story.

In the second installment of the Lana Sky’s acclaimed duet series, the story dives into the mind of Blake as he tries, unsuccessfully, to win Snow’s affection. However, I will be lying if I didn’t say how much of a blowing disappointment this was for me. It is no secret the love I hold for Sky and her stories, but this one did not go over well with me. The plot, the writing and the characters were all well establishment expecting no less from Sky, but the romance was up in the air. It felt as though Blake and Snow were friendenemies instead of lovers. These two share an intensity that was more carnal rather than emotional which made rooting for them to be together impossible and skeptical. Though the story did not have a balance between passion and physical feelings, gripping is the tale notheless because Sky is master of the dark arts…of suspense.

Ahora bien: a tope con el I CAN MAKE THEM WORSE.

Love and hate are two emotions that are interlinked.

Where there was deeply devoted and unconditional love . Now there is old wounds bleeding with anger, hate, revenge.

What would happen if the one person who was your rock, strength. Whose love, compassion brought happiness, hope, bravery into your life. All the weapons to fight the war amongst supposed loved ones.

But what happens if you betray the one you loved the most. The one that battled all your demons for you and made you battle them?

Blake or Brandt was that for Snow . In pain amongst manipulation Snow made a mistake thinking she was protecting Brandt.

Then so did Blake thinking Snow deserted Blake.

This hindi song describes the love between Blake and Snow

You are mine, in this moment, you are mine,

tomorrow, things may or may not remain the same,

maybe something happens that you don't remain yourself,

maybe something happens that I don't remain myself.

 maybe our paths diverge,

and we get lost while walking.

This is story is of love, abuse, redemption, anguish.

King’s Horses by Lana Sky
This is the second instalment in the duet and if you have not read book one you are going to be very confused. So please read book one. Snowy has realised that she is a pawn in this cruel game. The hurt she feels and the betrayal by those around her pushes her to her limits. At times, she comes across as very immature and unstable. However, you still have some empathy for her and for what she has endured. Blake is trying to fix what he has broken. Can he prove to Snowy, she is what he wants even though he has his own baggage to work through? While Snowy’s brothers have tried to protect her, they have also betrayed her. Can Snowy stand up to all these men and show she has more backbone? Can she play the game to win? And more importantly, can she ever forgive Blake? Overall this was a good book but there were a few areas that needed more information and answers. For example the brothers' reason for betrayal? I also felt let down by the romance between Blake and Snow – it was a push and pull of emotions, lies, manipulations and anger, but never romantic. Not even the smex scenes were romantic, if anything it came across as abusive. The author has a wonderful writing voice; the plot was strong with plenty of rising climax, the character development was on point although I never felt the connection between the two main characters. The ending was a bit rushed and not everything tied up. So for me personally this story had potential to be so much more but for some reason missed its mark.

So here we are with part two of the dark tale of revenge, revelation, and love. The story isn't as dark as the first one but still as entertaining. And the leading lady (Snowy) actually becomes a stronger opponent in the follow up story. She discovers what she had in her all along. You know sort of like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. Although the story of Blake an Snowy comes to an end, the end has me wondering......... Is there a new story with Masha coming soon? If you want to know about how she is introduced in the story you will have to read the book. LOL Happy Reading

Wow! What an ending to the duet. I loved seeing more of Blake in this part of the duet. I loved how Snowy and Blake both started opening up to each other and building the trust that had been damaged between them. Looking forward to seeing more of these characters in the future. Lana did an amazing job with this duet. It's full of pain, drama, twisted situations, family, and love.

ARC received in exchange for an honest review

While this book is milder than its predecessor, it is a dark, twisted romance that contains subject matter that may not be appropriate for some readers, including mentions of sexual abuse, child abuse, violence and mentions of eating disorders. Please take this into consideration before purchasing.

* * *

Light spoilers head. Read with caution.

King’s Horses picks up two months after the events of King’s Men. Snowy is slowly healing from her ordeal, but she is still struggling. Her family is still in ruin, her brothers are drinking themselves into oblivion and her past still continues to haunt her. But it isn’t just Blake Lorenz she has to worry about.

King’s Men pushed the boundaries of what I deem “dark romance.” It’s intense nature was disturbing at times, so I went into this book expecting the same intensity. I was disappointed. Part two of this sordid story is milder in comparison and while there are some upsetting scenes, it lacked the brutality of King’s Men that I enjoyed, for lack of a better word. The atmosphere wasn’t the same, and I left this book feeling underwhelmed.

However, I found myself hooked and I devoured this book, savouring every word.

While a majority is from Snowy’s point of view, there are snippets from Blake scattered throughout. These were my favourite chapters. Through Snowy’s eyes, we see Blake trying to make up for what he did. He tries to humanise himself, using his past as an excuse for the blatant abuse in inflicted upon Snowy. But he contradicts himself in his own chapters, showing us the true beast beneath the boy.

While he shows remorse to Snowy’s face, inside he still expresses interest in hurting her. He still wants to claim her, own her like she’s a prize that he’s won. He sees her as a possession instead of a woman, sometimes completely disregarding her feelings even though he tells her he wants to “start over” and “make things right.”

If he angered me in King’s Men, then he infuriated me in King’s Horses.

His constant manipulation of Snowy calls into question whether anything that comes out his mouth is genuine. He undermines her every chance he gets, using downright disgusting tactics to get what he wants from Snowy. I honestly can’t decide if he’s somehow worse in this book.

Blake is a clever man, too clever, and he knows it. He is one step ahead ahead at all times, anticipating what Snowy wants from him and twisting to his own advantage. I couldn’t believe the lengths he went to keep Snowy in hand, at his side and on his side. At one point, I considered DNF-ing this book because of his antics.

Then there’s Snowy.

Poor Snowy has been through the ringer and little does she know, she's about to go through it all again.

I hoped that the events of book one had woken her up a bit. I wished that she’d acquired some common sense when it came to Blake. Boy, I was wrong.

It was painful to watch her being constantly take advantage of, not just by Blake, but by her brothers and her so-called best friend too. I struggled to understand how she could still be so naive, considering what Blake put her through. As the book progressed, the blinders did begin to lift and she saw Blake for what he was. But all of a sudden, they slammed back down and she seemed to forget everything Blake had done to her. I hated watching her fall for Blake’s false words of remorse, and for him. Even though he has made it clear that he’s not, she even acknowledges that he’s not, she sees him as the sweet, caring boy she loved as a child.

It’s pitiful to watch her get suckered in, blinded by a mix of old love and guilt. In all honesty, I think the reason she keeps on going back to him is guilt. I think she blames herself for the monster Blake has become because of what her father made her do. Again, this is something Blake sees too, and he uses it against her.

Just like book one, he drills it into her, convincing her that it is her fault, that she should feel guilty.

But that’s what makes Blake a brilliant villain.

His cruel, callous nature is a stark contrast to the show he puts on for Snowy. The second she figures out what he really is, what his true intentions are, he turns to the broken boy persona to fix everything. And the cycle starts all over again.

While revenge was the theme of King’s Men, betrayal seems to be the theme for King’s Horses.

The ultimate betrayal, for me, came at the start of the book, by the two people Snowy cares about the most. This betrayal is the worst because it kicks off the events of the book, and puts Snowy in danger, and right back where she doesn’t want to be;

Blake Lorenz’s path.

All in all, I did really like this book. While I was underwhelmed and let down at times, the overall plot had me on the edge of my seat. I gripped from page one and I couldn’t stop until I finished.

If you’re in the market for a duet full of revenge, betrayal, secrets and many, many secrets, then Savage Falls is the duet for you.

4 stars.

What the hell was this? I was so excited for the second book. I really saw the potential for their 'love story'. It was obvious from the first book that Brandt/Blake loved her, he was just fucked up. The second book could have been so good, but I am so disappointed. It was abrupt. I was waiting for this book :(

I didn't really want to finish this series, but I was curious (not in a good way) to see how the author would end her story. Tuns out it didn't get any better…
Also I don't get why it is a series, one book would have been enough.

“All the king’s horses and all the king’s men, Snow. No one can put you back together again. You’re broken. Beautifully broken.”

Cruelly robbed of the fairy tale romance they deserved to have, by power hungry parents that had their own evil plans to gain the upper hand, book one ended on a jaw dropping cliff hanger that had me desperate for book two. Continuing their story of reinvention and self discovery the plot thickens and not all is as it seems, be prepared to be thrown once again by the bigger picture as each carefully planned step of Snow’s downfall is revealed. This is less dark and tortured than the first as they now know who the other player is but the damage that was wrought has left deep scars. Can they find all their missing pieces and put them back together again?

I did really enjoy their story but it lost a star simply because of being great it could have been amazing. Plot lines dropped bombs that were allowed to fizzle out without become more... the truth of their parentage, the manipulation of her “father”, her self harm and his terrible trauma in prison. All hinted at but taken as far as I would like. Alongside the plot of his sister and the reason he commenced his epic power battle, it all unceremoniously was over before a true war was waged! It was a little less drama filled and more cautious, a slow burn and hard to quite define. I still really enjoyed the writing style and I hope his sister gets her own book where maybe we see more of Snow speaking out and using what happened to both of them for the good of others.

A four star couldn’t put them back together again read.

King's Horses, Savage Fall Duet Book 2 by Lana Sky

Blake Lorenz spent the last ten years with one goal in mind, to take everything from the Hollings and to break Snowy. He accomplished both but it feels hollow to him. What he really wanted was the girl from their childhood, but he may have nearly killed her.

Snowy Hollings old life normally revolved around expensive couture fashion in bright colors or attending fashionable parties. Now, she finds them shallow and tiring. Snowy has changed and her cracks have edges.

Blake has tried to talk to Snowy for the last few months, but she won’t see him. When he first became obsessed with her family’s down fall, he never thought that he would end up falling for her again. He thought that died along with young Brandt but now he knows better. He refuses to let her go and will do anything necessary to get her back. The last few months have healed Snowy’s wounds but not her shattered heart. When they were younger, he would tell her “Kings Men, Snow. I’ll always be there to pick up the pieces.” What if he is the one that broke her in the first place? She knows that they can never be the two innocent children they were. There comes a time in your life when you must pick yourself up and do it yourself. Snowy finds her voice and starts to let go of childhood fantasies. They both slowly open up and start to trust each other. What he went through and what he finally shares with Snowy explains why he did what he did. When secrets from the past start to come to light and Blake needs her help, will Snowy be able to? Can she trust him or is this just another way for him to hold onto her?

Lana Sky is trying to kill me with her books, slowly but surely. The emotions she can put into each one will tear you apart along with her characters. I know that each time I open one to read and I do it willingly. I can still feel these two in my head and I will for a while because it happens after each of her books. Snowy matured so much from the first book and was able to take control of her life and use her voice. I think it shocked Blake at first but in the end, he was a little proud of her. Having Blakes POV was a special treat and you can understand him so much more. There are still pieces of Brandt in him and probably always will be. Both Snowy and Blake must let go of the past and start looking to the future instead. It just holds you back.

Not quite the fairy tale ending - but then again Humpty Dumpty was never put back together again either, so it was quite fitting

This is the second in the duet so if you have not read book one - Stop

Snowy uncovered so many secrets and betrayals in this closing episode. She knew she was a pawn but to really see with the blinders removed was a whole new type of pain. I still think she was a bit over dramatic at times and occasionally came across as immature. And yes *eye roll* she still jumps in without thinking things through. I admit though I felt a better connection with her in this episode than previously. There is a lot of emotional growth and though she is still muddling her way through I enjoyed watching her true strengths emerge.

As the story line unravels we see Blake's attempts at placing what equates to a band-aid on the damage he has done. He wants his Snow's affections but he is unsure of how to go about fixing what he has broken. I truly think that after the trauma and betrayal that was his youth he lacks the skills necessary to have a 'healthy' relationship. He tries with Snow but when it comes to verbally communicating, he lacks the ability so it usually ends up more of "physical" exchange of sentiments.

I am not sure how I feel about the brothers, their betrayals and their secrets - this was an area I felt we lacked in detail.
I will say the twist though - Soo did not see that coming!
There were a few 'OH Hell No' moments that had me white knuckling my reader. As the 'Whys?' were slowly exposed it was at times a bit heartbreaking.
I felt there was so much more going on behind the scenes that still needed to be told. I got some of the answers I was seeking but I also still have a few unanswered questions regarding some of the supporting cast like -
Why? Where?
The brothers? The sister? The whole lineage thing?
I do hope the author provides us the opportunity to get the rest of the story in possible cast spin-offs.

I enjoyed reading this more than the first book because it gave Blake’s POV too. It helped put things in perspective because otherwise it would become too dark for my taste. The glimpses into his mind helped me come to terms with the darker bits of the story. It is well written, full of suspense and drama (lots of it) and conflicting book. Snowy is developing a backbone in this. They both are opening up to each other and their relationship is evolving and blossoming. But there’s still a lot of deceit and manipulation in the book and not just between the two main characters.

It has many twists and some I feel are unexplained like the Masha bit. I would have liked more info regarding that. Then there’s the ending, which was a little too open for me. Personally, I’m not a great fan of such endings. Although, I can see how it also fits with their relations/bond.. it is going to takes years for these two to heal and grow and become whole again. The journey would be hard, painful and long. It is not going to be all hunky and dory. They can never have rainbows and glitter ending because of their pasts and how damaged they are. Therefore, it made sense to leave it open however much I may not be satisfied with it.

I would have liked some things to have different outcomes. I can’t condone many things that happened, and they rattled me a lot, most of those involved Snowy. Like the wat she wasn’t able to name the real culprit till the very end. Then also, it was not a proper one, what Brandt deserved. It had many sections that would make you grit your teeth and want to pull your hairs. There are moments where they are playing ping-pong with our heads. So, there’s that too.

Overall, the author has a way with words. The book might have sections you may not like but it still is a great read. The 4 stars are because of my biases against how things should be.

Lana Sky continues to impress me with her dark sensual writing in King's Horses. This was deliberately cruel and raw keeping in mind the theme of the series. I simply adore her poetic and lyrical prose which beautify the sad and gory details.

I will warn you that this story has multiple triggers like abuse for sensitivie individuals. Snowy and Blake's story is coming to an conclusion. So secrets are getting spilled in every corner. And even more manipulations and power games are coming into play. My head was actually reeling from all the shockingrevelations! Snowy and Blake's past is so damaged that ugly can't even begin to describe it. So even if they are trying to give it a second chance, it is messy and chaotic. And add to that mix the business games, the crazy ex fiance and friends, the society and everything.

This is more of a psychological thriller than a dark romance. Yes I wish she had an epilogue or something because the end felt abrupt and unfinished. But overall the story intrigued and captivated me. Snowy's character finally got out of her broken tortured weak self and gain some control of her life. You really can't expect people to change overnight after life long abuse in some form. And I finally found the balance in Blake's character. He has soft, tender and vulnerable moments to tell you that he is not a complete monster. I hate a lot of people in this story but not Blake. Well not completely.

King's Horses by Lana Sky is a dark, deviant and delicious tale of two tortured souls. The story was raw and honest. The writing was sensational. My heart will carry the imprint for a long time.

My heart bled reading King’s Horses. Lana Sky has this talent of shredding your soul and smashing your heart to bits with her heartbreakingly twisted books. This book was no different. Although King’s Horses is less twisted and dark as King’s Men, it is just as haunting.

Snowy endured so much by the hands of Blake in book one and I was desperately hoping he didn’t irrevocably break her and that she still had some fight in her. This book proved that. Although she is not the same shallow naive girl she once was, she doesn’t know what she is now. She was hoping she was done with Blake but deep down she knew she will never be free of him. He has yet to destroy her.
Blake hates Snowy so much that he can’t let her go. She consumes him and he hates that so it makes him lash out. He can’t affort to give her power over him but he can’t stay away as well so he uses whatever means necessary to bring her back into his clutches.

I hate Blake for what he did to Snowy. I felt her pain. I felt her sorrow. I felt everything she went through and it was all cause by Blake and I can’t forgive him for that but I do love him. He is a tortured soul and he went through f*cked up methods to get Snowy but he couldn’t see clear when it came to her.
This book chewed me up and spat me out. I’m feeling very raw. I cried so much. I gave Lana Sky the power to ruin me and she did just that..... but I wouldn’t have it any other way. The only problem I had with this book was that I wanted more!!! How can it end like that?! There should’ve been a third book! I’m just going to go cry silently now...

Dark, cruel, twisted - full of emotional pain

It took me some time to gather my thoughts after finishing the conclusion to the duet and to write review. For me one of the songs of the band called Thirty Seconds To Mars titled Up In The Air describes perfectly the dynamic between the main characters.
Stuck in a moment of emotion I've destroyed
Is this the end I feel?
(...)F-ed up our life
All of the laws I've broken, loves that I've sacrificed
(...)Lost in the night
I wouldn't trade out for you lies you lost for my life
Is this the end
You were the love of my life, the darkness, the light
This is a portrait of the tortured you and I
Is this the end?
I wrap my hands around you neck so tight with love, love, love
(...)Take no more
I'll take no more
It is painfully beautiful, cruel, intense, heartbreaking, soul-wrenching. So hard to believe people are really able to hurt others just to stay away from their own pain. But is it really possible? Can we hurt others and think that no sinful action can ever go without its consequences? Blake for sure will discover if that's true or not.
Loved this part even more then previous one, the twist just made me gasp and I was sure of the outcome but again author took me by surprise.
Loved the ending, couldn't be better and different after all what they went through. Two broken, shattered souls trying to put themselves back together. Snowy wasn't the only one who needed 'All the King's horses and all the King's man'.

Damnashen & Hellfire👍👍👍👍👍
My emotions were chaotic and conflicting..I was happy and sad, excited anxious with peeks of fear always on alert as the unexpected twists kept getting more unexpected completely throwing me off kilter filled with rage and irritation wanting to throw my kindle but my desperation takes hold and reels me back in steeling myself for more of the brutally intense drama to come all while thinking to myself how could it possibly get any worse or more intense only to be shocked rendered into a stupified state of the cold hardening words that continue to spin a web that I didn't think I would be able to overcome as the broken desperation seeped deep into my heart twisting and pulling always with a painstaking tug.
Brutally broken punishing chemistry with a conflicting desperate need to annihilate with a cold harden heart. A tsunami of emotions that are impossible to escape and impossible to live through as your being pulled fiercely from one emotions to the next with no time to recover.
Intense, edgy, exciting, enjoyable, sad, painful, danger, heart-pounding, angst, sass, fierce, grueling, dominating, dark, steamy, lies, betrayal and explosive shocking twists. An in your face intense must read that will be impossible to put down! One heck of a nerve rattling read that I absolutely loved!
